FLparent Client Served

Learning this business operates as a non-profit is surprising, since you'll only find yourself dealing with them if they accept your insurance. More surprising is how a client can be treated by someone working for a charitable organization. Ultimately, though, I guess all kinds of people can be found anywhere. My experience with those in skilled positions with this provider has truly been excellent. They show compassion towards children and their families who have, unfortunately, come to need their services. Should you have the need to use them as an ongoing supply service, you may find yourself completely exasperated. I have been treated condescendingly by one employee on countless occasions. She maintains her ultimate knowledge in every possible regard, despite the fact that I am the one who does, and always has, maintained an ongoing relationship with the MD's who prescribe the supplies we receive. She will actually argue with you about the size, shape, color, or function of an item you can be holding in your hand, because in no way can the customer ever be right. Don't waste your time trying to teach her that you are not a clueless idiot. You may find yourself starting fresh everytime you speak with her, and again wasting precious time you could be giving your child the care needed, just to think you are accomplishing placing an order for the actual supplies you need. You may as well accept defeat from the start, and that you'll need to take incorrect supplies to your MD, every single time. It may never be possible to convince her that your child actually needs the supplies prescribed and requested, and not whatever substitution she thinks might work in some way for your child. The reality is that unhealthy children need certain supplies to maintain their well-being, and that parents managing their care face enough challenges. If you find yourself dealing with this person, do yourself a favor and look into alternatives as quickly as possible.
