Mission: Our mission is to improve the quality of life for foster children by providing advocacy, opportunities, support and resources.
Programs: Kids charity of tampa bay, inc. Provides support and resources to abused and neglected children focusing on areas of service that address critical needs and life improvement for foster children primarily living in hillsborough, pasco, pinellas and polk counties. Our most significant community initiative is a kid's place of tampa bay, a state of the art 60- bed multi-service residential facility that safely shelters sibling groups in foster care in a home like setting with live-in house parents, from birth through seventeen years of age. Other community initiatives include education, a holiday gift drive and a safety net program providing temporary emergency support for foster children and families. Kids charity raises funds and develops resources, both in-kind and monetary, that directly affect these areas of critical need.
