A child diagnosis of cancer is never ever something you can prepare for as a parent. Your world is shaken in an instant and you are immediately forced to go into fight mode ready to do everything in your power to carry your child through every possible treatment. During this time, almost always, 1 parent has to stop working which impacts your family exponentially. You also feel very alone, struggling to understand and accept this new reality. Foundations like the Kids Cancer Foundation are truly dedicated to easing the burden by helping you apply to various foundations to help with household bills, providing financial assistance themselves, and welcoming you into the cancer family community by inviting you to amazing events for the patients and their families. Kids Cancer Foundation has helped our family so much through my sons cancer journey and I am looking forward to continuing to attend their events during his remission and having the blessing of their support to our family.
So many children I’ve seen smiling after suffering and battling cancer is a miracle in itself.
The dedication of the staff and board members are like nothing I’ve ever experienced even as I’ve volunteered and worked with many non profits in our area.
The staff and director are always welcoming and inviting as well as extremely active in involving the whole community with caring for the children.
This is an organization that supports both the children and the entire family as the families are fighting this horrific disease cancer.
I feel so blessed to know of Kids Cancer and am so drawn in by the love given by so many.
I've had the privilege honor and pleasure of serving on the Executive Board of this amazing foundation. The Kids Cancer Foundation follows the strict guidelines of a true 501(c) non-profit charity. The kids, their families and friends together with foundation employees and countless volunteers, get to experience a strong sense of awareness and care necessary to cope with the stress and sadness associated with all forms of Cancer. The Center is a safehaven that provides joy. love and happiness for all who attend the many events throughout the year. Kids Cancer Foundation focuses 100% on this kid’s and family’s affected by cancer. Michelle and the entire team are tireless in their efforts. They provide countless activities both in and out of The Center. Most of which are to comfort the kids and show them and the families a sense of hope, love and interaction with the caring community. I’ve had the privilege to be involved for the last 4 years and I participate along with my best friends in every way possible. It is heart warming in every sense. I just love the kids and everyone there. ❤️❤️❤️
I have been a volunteer with the Kids Cancer Foundation for many years now and the work that they do is absolutely incredible! The staff and volunteers have the kindest hearts and they help so many deserving children. The South Florida area is lucky to have such a wonderful organization to rely on!
The Kids Cancer Foundation provides outstanding support and care for families and children battling childhood cancer. Having seen KCF grow first-hand, I've witnessed the unwavering generosity and amazing community that has grown from it. I recommend volunteering and/or donating to this charity because this foundation genuinely cares and stands by their mission to help families and children in need, whether financial, emotional, medical - you name it.
You can't beat saving lives...both physical and emotional...and this organization is dedicated to doing just that. The people I have worked with are warm and embracing. The motivation they provide comes in the form of the results they show via the stories told and smiles on the faces telling them.
Loss my daughter to cancer in 2003. Connected with KCF in 2005.
Supported their cause for 15 year's by hosting a rock and roll rib
festival raising and monies for the children and families they support.
They have an amazing staff of volunteers and were always very
supportive to my cause. Was very proud to be associated with such
an amazing and caring staff. A great non profit foundation to work with.
Aiden has been loved by the Kids Cancer Foundation since May 2018. They brought us into their family with open arms and open hearts. They Michelle abs Kelly were there the moment we heard “your son has cancer”. From that moment they took over all of his academic needs and because his educational advocates. Not only have they helped Aiden but they have also brought in and loved on his brothers as well. His twin brother Rowan and his younger twin brothers Baran and Grayson. They have given them tutors, summer camps, and treated them as they were just as important as Aiden. I hold much gratitude and love for this organization and couldn’t have asked for a better organization to guide us along the way.
Jade is a very outspoken, playful, and friendly, caring 5 year old girl. She was diagnosed with leukemia in May 2020. When Jade was diagnosed, our world completely changed. Our happy, playful girl was too sick to be herself. She was unable to walk due to her pain and her smile disappeared. I had to quit my full-time job and became Jade’s full-time mother, nurse, doctor, teacher, and much more. Our worries multiplied and we had to learn how to cope with Jade’s diagnosis while still making sure that all of our bills were paid, Jade & her 1 year old sister’s needs were being met. Watching the effects that cancer and chemotherapy had on Jade was heartbreaking. The assistance we received from Michelle helped us with groceries, bills, and gas. This has relieved some of our worries and stress so that we can continue focusing our energy on Jade and her sister. We are so thankful for the assistance we have received from Kids Cancer Foundation.
Kids Cancer Foundation has really been a blessing for my family. They were there since day 1. My son, Carter, was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor Kidney Cancer at age 2. They are just awesome and thank you so much for supporting us. TRULY GRATEFUL FOR KIDS CANCER FOUNDATION!!!
The moment that the Doctor told me that my Son has cancer. I don’t know where to start. I’m so blessed that the kids cancer foundation is there to help and support us from day one. They are all amazing people and have an open heart to help you whatever you need no matter who you are and where you from.Thank you for your love, care and support to our Son.My family and I are forever grateful to the kids cancer foundation who helped us getting out of a big storm in our life and see the rainbow again.❤️❤️❤️
Michelle has been so helpful to me and my daughter. The process was so easy and she's very compassionate to the cause. My 5 year old daughter was just recently diagnosis with Leukemia (ALL) and its been very hard for us to cope with. But I'm so glad to have met with her and have such a awesome support team to him us get thru this very sensitive time. She has made it easier so I can focus on whats more important....my daughters health and well being.
The Kids Cancer Foundation is filled with the most wonderful people. They genuinely want to help and support the families of children that have to face cancers. My son was diagnosed at the 11 months old and this December he will be in remission 5 years! But that doesn’t change our relationship with the center. They became family when my son was sick and that hasn’t changed. They were so supportive during the unknown and continue to be there when you need help after. We love the Kids Cancer Foundation and everyone that is apart of their mission.

I have nothing but kinds words to say about the Kids Cancer Foundation. They are an amazing group of people that have loved on our family since they found our son at Palms West. Our son, Johnny 3, was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma at 11 months old. We were being treated at the hospital when Michelle appoached me with a bunch of goodies for Johnny and asked how she could help. Since then they have helped us with so much. From linking us with other organizations to help with some of financial strain of having a child in the hospital, gas cards, putting together Thanksgiving meals, so I didn't have to worry about it, to helping my older girls, 7 and 10 with communicating how they feel with a therapist, to tutoring. And that's not even mentioning ALL the fun stuff my kids get to do, which was so important while we going through the hardest time of our lives, as a family. This non profit foundation has become family to us. They really are the best at loving on families that are going through the harest times in their life.
We are very grateful for all the support that We received from Kids Cancer Foundation in those difficult moments when our daughter was diagnosed with leukemia in 2008, they made us part of them, they advised us, they was always aware of our daughter and our family; please continue doing the great work for the children and their families that need it so much.

The wonderful ladies at kids Cancer foundation do an amazing job with helping both the kids and the families get through this very difficult time. They come to see them during their infusions, hospital visits, whenever and wherever needed. They help them celebrate birthdays, Christmases all the different holidays by having gatherings and get togethers and allowing them to have their own community of children that can relate to what they're going through. They help out during Thanksgiving and Christmas to make sure that families have whatever they need to make those occasions memorable. Kids Cancer foundation is truly a blessing and Michelle and Nicole make it happen.....xoxo

Kids Cancer Foundation helps a lot of kids & their families get through the worst crisis in a family's life! When they get the news that their child has cancer :-( They keep the child entertained by bringing them cool toys to the hospital & anything they want to eat! They help the parents by helping them pay bills since some of them have to quit work to take care of their sick child! Also they just give them a lot of support to cope with what is happening with their child! They also help the siblings cope with what is happening to their brother or sister! They have a lot of family fun things to do with the families to take their minds off the thing called Cancer :-)
As a nurse, I see firsthand what the children go through. Dealing with cancer is life changing. Kids Cancer Foundation helps these kids feel like kids again. They provide some sense of normalcy. The give the family support, which is so important! Not only is the child going through this devastating experience, but the family is too. This foundation is amazing! The things they do for these kids, their siblings, and families is beyond words. When at an event, the kids look so happy. They forget, even if just for a moment, that they have cancer. The kids have so much fun and get to interact with other kids that are going through the same thing they’re going through. It is a great support system.
Can’t say enough about this amazing organization! Kids Cancer Foundation was our saving grace when our son was diagnosed. They continue to be a source of information and support.
We love them so much! They were a great support system to us when going through such a difficult times in our lives they were truly a blessing in our lives. We appreciate them and everything they do for these kids and families!!

As a Pediatric Oncology Research RN, our patients are in the highest level of need, and at least 10 times a day, I thank our lucky stars that our kids have this incredible foundation looking after them. No need is to big or small, they work miracles and are always there for the kids. A TRUE charity that pours it all to the kids!!
Amazing Organization. They do so much for the children and families that are dealing with cancer. They take a wholistic approach to how cancer affects the entire family, and care for the siblings, the parents, as well as the child suffering from cancer. They go above and beyond every day to make each child feel special. They remember birthdays, and take the time to tailor it to each child's special day. They provide help at home in the form of ipads, and computers, they provide tutoring for the children affected, as well as the siblings. There is nothing too big or too small for them to look into and care about, they truly give the kids everything and make Such a big difference.
We love KCF and what they have done for our families. We are blessed to be part of Kids Cancer Foundation.
From getting over the shock of diagnosis , to helping with school and ongoing medical issues , Kids Cancer Foundation has been a Godsend to our family after our son’s leukemia diagnosis . I can not say enough good things about this organization.
The Kid’s Cancer Foundation is a wonderful Community Outeach Support for the cause of supporting families touched by childhood cancers. I became connected with them from a liaison between Life.Church and the center. As soon as I heard this was happening I signed up to help anyway I could. You see I lost my beloved husband of 29 years to cancer so I have experienced the journey . I was his caretaker and after walking that difficult journey with him for three years , I could not even imagine that happening to children and the families affected. It broke my heart and i had to find out how I could help. I only volunteer , but I can tell from the times I spent there that this place is beautiful! The people that run it are selfless and loving, compassionate , informed and 100 per cent committed to this cause. There is not a day that I have ever felt anything there but love and unending support. I love this center and all the beautiful people that come there. I will continue to support them with my time and prayers as long as I am able to . In my opinion they are the real deal and they DO make a difference!
Although I don't have a child that has Cancer, I bring my therapy dog to visit periodically with The kid's. I have this foundation helping the families with a child go through treatment and they do a wonderful job taking care of their needs. I have never seen 2 woman work so hard for these familis. They are a blessing.
I have been privileged to be a volunteer with the Kids Cancer Foundation for several years. I have seen miracles happen when one of our young warriors cheats death and goes on to lead a full, enriched life. I have witnessed people strengthened by the tireless efforts of KCF's medically trained staff to counsel and assist them in navigating complex cancer treatments. KCF also offers various therapies (art, massage, psychological, pet, tutoring, etc) to ensure the well being not only the our patients, but additionally each family member. I have seen strangers come together and support each other at KCF family events because KCF was there when they needed love, advice and help during their child's illness. I am honored to be a small part of this great organization.
Kids Cancer Foundation helped us through the most difficult times during our daughter diagnosis. Always caring and willing to look for additional help. Our daughter was diagnosed on August 15, 2008 with a rare kind of leukemia (Biphenotypic Leukemia) We had to travel to Duke University Hospital for additional treatment. When we came back, she was still need treatment and KCF was always there to help us. It is a great organization!!! Michelle and Nicole are doing a phenomenal job!!! We admire their commitment with the little warriors and their families. May God continues blessing them.

I remember those days when our daughter was a patient at Palms West Hospital. it was a hard time, but thanks to the South Florida kids Cancer Foundation our journey was more easy to go through. All the members and volunteers always had a smile for us. We feel like we are a part of a big family, they made us feel in that way. They always give us the opportunity to reconnect with other families who went to the same path as us during the Halloween and Christmas celebration. THANK YOU for all your incredible work toward the little angels and their families. I am very grateful to have you in our way.
Amazing foundation!!! When my daughter was receiving chemotherapy and radiation her immune system was too low and I kept her at home or at the hospital and she only started participating in Kids Cancer Foundation activities after she was done with treatment. Now she is having so much fun and loves every time that she can go and enjoy with other kids like her... wish I started bringing her soon but I am glad now she is part of this incredible foundation. They really care for our kids and help a lot of families in different ways! ❤️❤️
Without the continuous assistance from Kids Cancer Foundation, I don't know how my husband and I could managed. Sincerely appreciate everyone that is involved in making this possible, THANK YOU!

I have always believed to help
People less fortunate. Kids with cancer is to some extent different. They help families and children get thru the ordeal of childhood cancer. They are a lifeline to educate and help parents get thru this terrible ordeal and provide counsel and financial help when needed. I can’t tell you how proud I am of Michele and her team in their selfless quest to help these families. She truly helps repair the world and it is said to save one life is to save the world THATS THE Kids cancer foundation. I am proud and humbled to be a part of same. Paul konigsberg
My son was diagnosed with kidney cancer just before he turned 4. Kids Cancer Foundation was instrumental in keeping both of our spirits up. They soon discovered his love of dinosaurs, art & Legos. From then on, each time he had a treatment, they had a toy for him, or a game to play, or an art project. There was always something to lift his spirits and keep him occupied for a couple hours. He came to associate his hospital visits with activities, and he never dreaded coming, for which I was so thankful. On the day of his last chemo, Kids Cancer Foundation threw him a little party, complete with cake and presents. They were always there with answers, an ear, a shoulder to cry on, or a morning coffee for mom during overnight stays. Kids Cancer Foundation helped us through the most difficult part of our lives, helping my son grown to the boy he is now, 9 years later. It is all so very appreciated.
We first met Michelle and Nicole at the Kids Cancer foundation in June 2016 when our two-year-old son Anthony was diagnosed with AML leukemia. They have continuously supported and helped our family through the last 3 1/2 years. I don’t know what we would have done without them. 11 support they show our family is priceless our children look forward to going to the Kids Cancer foundation they love the events that they hold for the kids. At the last event we went to my daughter received a kids Cancer Foundation shirt and all she could talk about was how she could not wait to wear it so everyone could see her kids Cancer Foundation shirt. Our family Will forever be grateful for everything that the kids Cancer Foundation has done for us.
The Kids Cancer Foundation is a beacon of light for the kids and families who are dealt this devastating blow of a diagnosis. Help and support don't adequately portray what they do.
Financial assistance, help with navigating the medical maelstrom they are in, respite for kids and families at the Center are all part of the services they provide. I'm happy and proud to be part of the group of people who contribute to the efforts of making this fight a little easier.
This organization has been an absolute blessing to our family. At a time that was probably the worst of our lives they have stepped in and helped out every step of the way and we will forever be grateful for the support and love of the kids Cancer foundation.
I am a volunteer for this fine organization, and can only say good things about the work they do and the impact they have on the families of the children who receive such devastating news. The small staff work tirelessly in making sure the families have the support and resources to navigate through this very difficult time. Giving financial help, assistance in bridging the gap with the complexities of the medical situations they encounter, and being a social respite for parents and kids, the Kids Cancer Foundation is a great resource and friend for the families. With free tutoring, play rooms, gathering room for parents, space for the very popular monthly Kids Night Out, the center is a hub for an assortment of activities. I could only wish that families would never need their services, but it is a comfort to know that such dedicated people are there when needed.
I'm a local business owner who has been involved as a donor to Kids Cancer Foundation for a few years. It wasn't until May 2018 when one of my employees children was diagnosed with leukemia. The very next day, before the dust even settled, Kids Cancer Foundation was at the hospital advocating for the family making sure services were in place. We're very grateful for the Foundation. The impact that they make in the lives of families that are struck with the unimaginable is incredible.
When our son 13 yr old Langley was DX with Hodgins Lymphoma his dad had left on military active duty one week before for 2 years.
Sitting in the ER getting admitted not prepared for what was ahead of us and in shock. Having his twin sister at home 1.5 hours away alone with no family or close friends where we live or able to come help. (New to area).
Additionally ,Langleys older brother Eric left for college for the first time 2 days prior and has a disability that sometimes requires my attention. I was not sure how or what to do.
Kids Cancer Foudation , Michelle O’Boyle showed up immediately to sit with me & his doctor assuring I understood his treatment plan.
Michelle & other volunteers bought handmade quilts making a cold hospital room less scary.
Games to keep him busy. When he could have outside food they arranged it.
One most important things was * A notebook for me to track all the medical data and keep records & bills.
Kelly Weiner ,Esq. came to school with me to assure he recieved a homebound education and let a difficult school system know his rights.
Now in remission about 9 months they help us get into oncology camps which are helping Langley understand he is not so different and aide with PTSD he’s developed.
They submitted us to Make A Wish.
They helped us get with another local group “Smiles” to get a laptop for school work.
Kids Cancer Foundation cares. They do not just walk the first mile with you and leave . They walk the second journey. They become family.
There is absolutely no way I could have done this alone? And if not for them we would have been just that completely alone.
It was the difference between tears and the smiles on our son in the photos attached.
(No other national cancer agency because he was a “child” offered us any support emotionally or otherwise.
Also because Langley is not a “research” study St. Judes turned us down.
** More people need to understand the huge role this agency plays for Florida children. )

Our 13 yr old son Langley was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in June. It came as a complete shock to our family and with his dad on active duty away from home.
We got a call Tuesday night I remember thinking it had to be a mistake? All his tests came back normal till now.
That Wednesday we were immediately admitted to Palms West .. we were not expecting this and totally unprepared , alone with no extended family.
You can imagine how fast everything happened and how hard it was for our son.
It was at this point Michelle came from the Childrens Cancer Foundation to welcome us.
Langley could not believe people he never met cared so much. The hospital room stark white was now transformed with 2 brightly colored quilts , a soft teddy bear and some toys to keep him busy. It changed the whole experience for us from one of shock to one of comfort.
He still has Cancer but maybe just a bit less scary to us all. We could never have gotten thru any of this without the continuing support provided by the Childrens Cancer Foundation.
Was exposed to this charity when working as a firefighter and they asked if we could come by with our firetrucks and deliver Santa during their holiday party. If you could of seen the faces on these kids your heart would of melted. The venue was at the fairgrounds and the inside of the pavilion was amazing. The decorations and activities not to mention all the gifts for the children were incredible. I found out that throughout the year KCF supports the children and families during hospital visits and keeping up with their studies at the center when they have to be semi isolated during some treatments. I have since retired and now volunteer whenever I can at the center or during their fundraising events. Michelle, Nicole and their staff are so dedicated to these kids and their recovery. If you're looking for a non profit to support this is one of them.
KCF was an instrumental part with our daughter's treatment. They were nurturing, consoling, and comforting during a very acute time in our lives. I never felt like a client and my daughter never felt like "another patient" with KCF. There was a bond and a connection that words can't describe. I am forever grateful for the love and support KCF gave us and our daughter.
Kids Cancer Foundation is so beneficial to those young children with cancer, it provides a space for them where everyone is free to be themselves, no one judges, and they get to just be kids and have fun together! It is an amazing organization!
Kids Cancer Foundation has helped my family in so many ways. They have come to the hospital when my son was having his infusions and genuinely seemed interested in health. They offered help with more than just his treatments. He was getting a treatment on his birthday and they had cake and presents for him at the hospital. They helped with making sure his hospital homebound was in place and working properly. They helped with getting back to school supplies when his was able to go back to school. KCF also gave my son and his brother some wonderful Christmas presents and have wonderful monthly meetings where the kids/patients can gather with other patients in a social setting out of the hospital. When they have gatherings they have gift cards for the families that can be used wherever you need to. I'm sure I'm probably leaving something out, as they do so much for so many people. Our family truly appreciates all that they do.
My granddaughter was diagnosed in May 2017 with Leukemia. My daughter was devastated, not knowing where to turn for help. Michelle from KCF came to the hospital helped my daughter and grandchildren, offering so much physical and emotional support. Cancer affects the whole family and KCF is there! From visiting the children while they are having infusion to holiday parties and monthly Parents night out.
My 10 year old son battled bone cancer and was in treatment and therapy for 2 years. Kids Cancer Foundation made a really difficult time more tolerable and even fun with many distractions that made kids in treatment feel special and were able to participate in activities in healthy and safe environments. Not only did they have a lot of activities for families, they also assist struggling families and provide tutoring which is very appreciated and helpful since kids miss a lot of school while in treatment. Everyone affiliated with this Foundation is friendly, loving, supportive and very giving. For families that find themselves in this unfortunate, devastating position, this organization is a lifeline and we will be forever grateful for everything they did and continue to do for us. Many will find that Kids Cancer Foundation become part of your family and long after treatment concludes families want to give back for everything that they had provided to us in our time of need. Words can't express how wonderful this organization is for families with a child battling cancer.
I have had the pleasure the last 2 Christmases to be apart of the annual holiday breakfast. It has been my honor to spend time with the children and to see just how much time/effort the volunteers put into this Foundation. The Foundation makes sure that every child, every parent, every sibling and extended family members know that they are they for them. They put smiles on entire families with their hard word. They work very hard to have activities and functions for the kids & families to enjoy so a moment in time they can fell normal and for a moment in time their worries are put a side so they can have moment to smile and to be together.
I first became aware of Kids Cancer Foundation of SF when my daughter was in treatment for Stage IV Neuroblastoma. Although we lived in S. Florida at the time, we went to NYC for Danika's treatment. She was just 7 months old at diagnosis and the year that followed was an absolute whirlwind and a waking nightmare most can't imagine. I can't even recall if the foundation was fully up and running at the time I met Michelle, one of the founders, at a local hospital. Michelle gave me so much encouragement and hope for what the future would be like once we were past the initial treatment phase and more insight into what our "new normal" would be once we were back home. I valued that time I spent with Michelle so very much and the information I gleaned from our visit was super helpful. It was a few years later that I got back in touch with Michelle and the foundation to try to plug in to our local community however we could. We visited the office and attended a few KCFSF events, and with every interaction, I always came away with the feeling of love, encouragement, and so much HOPE for the future. Not just for Danika and our family - - but for all the families fighting and living with pediatric cancer and its devastating effects on the entire family unit. The services and support that KCFSF provides are so very important to the whole family. Pediatric cancer takes a tremendous amount out of any family - emotionally, physically, financially. The effects are long-lasting and far-reaching. To have an organization like Kids Cancer Foundation of S. Florida helps to sort of put some of what was taken back. I'm sure this takes a different form for each family since the effects will be different for everyone. The more services that can be provided can only help the healing and day-to-day living for each family affected.
Danika is not our only child and so I am especially aware of how a pediatric cancer diagnosis affects siblings. These kids spend far too much time in the background, feeling less important somehow while treatment and rehab takes center-stage, wondering how they fit in, and what their role is through it all. A very real "what about me?" mindset enters in as their accomplishments, hopes and dreams fade into the distance. That sort of emotional distress can be life-impacting and long-lasting. These siblings are loved on and included and supported in such a special and necessary way. From a sweet hug and stuffed animal to counseling services and everything in between. I only wish we had more opportunity to take advantage and participate in the different events where siblings could feel a part of it all. This is an amazing group of people who provide so much support - the ripple effect of which will be felt for years to come. Any donations and support and recognition they receive can only go to help what I am sad to say is far too many families who are living with the harsh realities of pediatric cancer. This foundation deserves so much respect and attention and as much funding as possible so they can continue to do what they do to serve families like mine. It may sound cliche', but these kids really are our future - - and foundations like KCFSF are a very necessary and integral part of that future. Thank you to all of the KCF of SF family - we love and miss you all! - Danielle S., mom to Danika, 9-yr NBIV Survivor, and family
The Kids Cancer Foundation is an amazing organization full of members who are truly dedicated to helping children and their families. The organization makes such a positive impact in the lives of the families they serve. The events created by the organization are incredible and bring a great awareness to their cause. Thank you Kids Cancer Foundation for all that you do for our little warriors!
I am Santa. Every year I have visited the Kids Cancer Foundation Breakfast with Santa. I is an opportunity for the families and the children to gather for a breakfast celebration filled with joy , crafts, dancing, laughing and presents. Oh yes, a visit and pictures with Santa. The foundation has hosted this event every year. They arrange for gifts for the children and their siblings thru fund raising and donations from supporters.
It is an incredibly happy and emotional event and is the highlight of the years work and efforts on behalf of kids with cancer. The foundation provides support and assistance to many children and families as they fight their battles with cancer. It is a very special organization with many very special people who care deeply about the children they help.
I have been privileged to be a part of this event for the past decade and look forward to many more Breakfasts with Santa.
As a family of a child that was supported by the The South Florida Kids Cancer Foundation, I can not express enough gratitude to all the wonderful people who work to support children with cancer. If you think or have an idea of what it is like to have a child with cancer you know very little of the traumatic and life threatening challenges to your child faces. The South Florida Kids Cancer Foundation understands because the have Professionals working for them that have many years of experience working first hand with children with cancer. I have personally witnessed and experienced their caring nature, positive support and personal comfort to families in the most difficult situations. Please support the South Florida Kids Cancer Foundation.
The foundation is genuine & truly cares from the moment the family is told the devastating news that their child has cancer until endless years . They continue to give, support & love the entire family
This organization does an amazing job providing not only funds and treatment options for stricken families, but goes above and beyond in providing supplemental professional support (psychological exams, tutoring, mentorships), support for siblings and parents, extracurricular events for both kids and parents, and a structured program for helping families and patients recover successfully. Gas cards, food cards, birthday parties, pony rides, face painting, etc are just the beginning for the organizers. For such an important and honestly heart-breaking cause, these people do amazing work. I am a third party marketing company that does some work with them for free as one of my clients is a survivor of childhood cancer. Cant say enough about what I've seen and how they compare to other 501c-3s!
'Tis is one of the best non profit organizations who works relentlessly for the kids who unfortunately got sick with the cancer at their child hood age! Without their various activities including financial help lots of kids will not go through their ordeal! If I can donate anything to anybody I will do to this organization! I urge every body who has kid or don't have who has kid suffering from cancer not to donate at their ability! Every penny counts

When my son first started going to get his weekly infusions, we met wonderful ladies from Kids Cancer Foundation. They sat down with me and went over all of the things that their organisation had to offer. Things like tutoring, student advocacy, and financial assistance. They gave my son a birthday celebration, they helped to send him to camp Fiesta. Were he had an amazing time. They also provided help with his back to school needs. They do all of this and alot more. This a wonderful organisation.

Kids cancer foundation was there for us when our 12 year old daughter was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors. They help the kids feel normal again. They put on parties for the families, help with financial aid, educational information about your diagnoses, help with doctor appointments, send kids to camp & prom. They are an awesome group of volunteers who always have a smile & a hug for you when you walk in the door. We are so lucky to have them as a support for our entire family.
My name is Brandon Phillips. I have been a professional polo player for the past 22 years, playing all over the world at the highest level. This year I will be competing in my 23rd season at the International Polo Club with the Postage Stamp Farm Polo Team.
At the age of 15 I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, stage 4. I was given 6 weeks to live. The shock of this is that it literally happened overnight. I played a rugby game on the Thursday, a Polo game on the Friday, and a Soccer game on the Saturday. Then woke up Sunday morning with my left leg aching. Then my life changed forever..
Obviously, I overcame the odds and survived and just 2 years later I played in my first professional polo game and have been a professional athlete ever since.
Four years ago I started my own charity event called Polo For A Purpose. All proceeds are donated to the local LLS here in Palm Beach. To date we have raised close to $1,000,000 in the last 4 years. This year will be our 5th annual event on January 15th at the International Polo Club.

Thank you so much for your support Brandon. It is greatly appreciated. You are truly an inspiration to all our young patients. We are so grateful for the time you spend with all of them.
My nephew was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 3. When my sister felt like her world had crumbled around her, the Kids Cancer Foundation was there. They became part of our family’s lives from day one and made a horrifying experience more bearable. They explained things, helped financially, provide fun activities where the whole entire family could forget and have fun for a little while, and so much more!!!!! This organization is truly a blessing!!!

So glad we are able to be there for our young patients and families. None of this is possible without the support of our many donors and volunteers.
MICHELLE AND Sandy have done so much to help our Families, they are the Best.i cant say enough of what they selflessly do on an everyday basis to help comfort and educate families.

KCF1 10/11/2017
This is why the Kids Cancer Foundation was founded to assist our young patients and families.
The Kids Cancer Foundation has been absolutely amazing for my little family!! They were and have been there for us ever since my son got sick the beggining of last year! They go above and beyond for every child and their families!!! We are beyond blessed to have such a loving and amazing foundation that we call our second family!! We'd be lost with out them!!

KCF1 10/11/2017
So happy we could be there for you and your son. This is why the Kids Cancer Foundation was founded.
Michelle is the best example of a selfless nurse who cares so much for the children and the care they receive. She had a vision and with God on her side the children have a great proponent of true assistance and love.

KCF1 10/11/2017
The Kids Cancer Foundation is blessed to have the support of individuals like you. We could not do what we do without that support and because of it we are blessed to be able to do what we do to make the journey a little easier for our young patients and families.
The Kids Cancer Foundation is staffed by caring and dedicated employees that go above and beyond to assist not only the individual patient but their entire family during and after treatment. Please support the Kids Cancer Foundation.
I don't have any small children that have been affected. I I've seen the selfless work encouragement love and support that this foundation has done
Nobody Cares More! Aligned A Horse Show I Was Running, With Kids Cancer Foundation Not Knowing Anything About The Group. Three Weeks Later, I Learned A Lot! The Most Giving, Selfless Group Which Gave Me Revitalized Hope In Humanity. In The Three Short Weeks, They Put It Together and We Raised About $10,000. Watch Their Video but don't watch it without tissues. I cried Like a baby. The most amazing group of people I know. What they do for the whole family is what separates this non-profit from others. They understand the toll cancer has on not just the child with it but the whole family!
Kids Cancer is a wonderful organization!! I have two roles, both of which I love. My first position is visiting the children at the hospital with my therapy dog. This makes the children so happy and instead of simply going to the hospital for treatment, they are coming to see "Cookie." Secondly, I see the children and their families if they need counseling for any issues coming up throughout their treatment. My experiences with Kids Cancer Foundation are particularly fulfilling because Michelle , the director and Nicole the child care supervisor are both exceptional in the way they run the organization. They are friendly, professional, loving, kind and caring people. They both make everyone feel happy just to be part of the organization and they are extremely proficient in organizing events and activities to help the families. The children and families are of course, simply beautiful to work with and it is a great feeling to know you're making a difference.
Michelle offers such fabulous experiences for the children at the Kids Cancer Foundation. As a volunteer I assisted in leading one of her children in a leadline class at a horse show in Wellington. MIchelle had arranged for quiet, gentle horses and ponies to arrive at the show. We mounted these brave, excited kids up on their mounts and led them into the ring amid applause, cheers, and big smiles all around. Each rider received a ribbon, but more importantly they were praised for their bravery (for some it was their first time on a horse!), and their composure. They loved their horses! Another time I attended a fair with a horsey theme hosted by the Foundation. There were many booths for everyone to enjoy. The kids and their sibs , parents and friends could paint, make jewelry, sculpt, learn about hoof care from a farrier, and even ride a "bunking bronco." I helped give pony rides, and believe me, the line for a ride was very long!! I was so impressed by the commitment of the staff, by the talents and generosity of the volunteers and visiting artists, and of course by the kids themselves. They are all so special and deserve this fun and attention to help them as they recover from illness. The Foundation is deeply committed to providing these children with memorable experiences which will infuse joy into their lives and may even ignite their spirits with a new passion. They deserve it!
Kids Cancer Foundation does great work! They help kids and families as kids battle cancer and bring families together for support they offer hope and support and are a great asset to the community.
Kids Cancer Foundation, Inc. is a top notch charity with a big heart. As a member of the United States Submarine Veterans, Inc., I have personally attended several events at the KCF with other members of our organization, where we made some of the patients "Honorary Submariners" and presented them with embroidered hats and certificates. MIchelle Boyle, Sandy Erb and the entire staff are professionals and do an outstanding job of giving their patients all the care, support and love they deserve. One visit to their facility will make you a believer and staunch supporter of the Kids Cancer Foundation.

Michelle and her team are phenomenal. The time, effort, love and caring they exhibit to these amazing children and their families is priceless. I'm honored and privileged to support this organization and the outstanding work they do!!!
KCF is a WEALTH of help, support and information. Our family truly would not know how to navigate through our daughters cancer journey.
Those who work for The Kids Cancer Foundation are 100% devoted to helping the children and their families get through this stressful time in their lives. Each person in the Foundation greets you with warmth and a beautiful smile. Michelle O'Boyle is a dinamite director. She has devoted her life to her Kid's Cancer Foundation. We wholeheartedly support this great group!
While the hospital is busy taking care of the patient Kids Cancer Foundation is always nearby taking care of the family. The parents and the siblings are served by all the wonderful information and services offered by KCF. Michelle and Sandy are a wealth of information always presented with a winning smile and a warm hug. My daughter is a cancer survivor and it wouldn't have been the same experience without KCF. We continue to stay in touch, attend events and sometimes volunteer. Please donate your time or money to this wonderful nonprofit!!!
We cannot even begin to put into words what the foundation has done for our family. From day one of being in the hospital, they came in and talked to us and helped us tremendously. The center itself is such a fantastic place for the children. My girls cannot wait to go and ask everyday if they can go earlier and earlier. The amazing people that work and volunteer there always have a smile on there face and are so incredibly amazing with the children. They go above and beyond with everything that they do. They have touched our lives in so many ways and we are so glad that they are in our lives.!
Kids Cancer Foundation is an amazing organization who has the most caring and supportive people. My family has personally benefitted from their advice, sharing of information and financial help. It is comforting in a stressful time to know you have the kind of support they provide.
My daughter was diagnosed on September 1, 2014 after being hospitalized for over a month. I was forced to leave my job so I can care for my baby around the clock. Not being able to work, I had no income and went into eviction with my apartment and nowhere to go. Michelle O'Boyle from Kids Cancer worked diligently in finding my daughter and I a place to live. I am forever grateful for her help.

So glad we were able to assist you and your daughter. That is why we are here. Our goal is to try and make this journey a little easier for both you and your daughter. We are delighted to assist you in any way we can.
This is such a caring group of people doing something that is very needed for these children and their families.

Thank you so much for your continued support. It is greatly appreciated.
I am the Founder of the Kids Cancer Foundation and I have to say that the Foundation has far exceeded my expectations. The goal of the Foundation since the very beginning has always been to assist these young patients and families throughout their journey of battling childhood cancer and/or blood disorders. Our goal is to make this journey as easy as possible for these children and families. 90% of all donations go towards programs and services that directly assist these young patients and their families.
The foundation has very little administrative costs and minimal operational costs. There are 2 paid employees of the Foundation and the rest of the Foundation is made up of volunteers. We have the most amazing and dedicated group of staff and volunteers working diligently to meet the needs of our young patients and families. If not for our volunteers we would not be able to provide the myriad of programs and services we offer our patients and families. It is thanks to our loyal donors and volunteers that we are able to assist the over 300 children and families who rely on our programs and services. The Foundation is honored to have the support of all our loyal donors and volunteers. We could not do what we do without them!
I have attempted to write this review a few times now, and have been unable to put into words all that it means in my experience and heart. Having become involved several years ago when I owned Gym Ratz Fitness for Kids, I was introduced to Michelle and Sandy. I had no idea what a tremendous impact these women, and this foundation would have on my life, my family, and many friends. Two years ago, by the grace of God, i was able to reunite with these two women and once again become involved in the KCF.
What began as an Advisory Council Member role, quickly grew to volunteering in the hospital, center, events and now being fortunate to be trusted with the role of the President of the Board of Directors. I have witnessed first hand, what this foundation does for the young patients battling cancer and their siblings, parents and extended families. From financial support, to psychological support, the foundation's services are endless. The guidance given once a family is given the devastating diagnosis that their child is facing cannot be measured. Not only do the staff have the medical knowledge, one in particular has been through the process with their own child. A parent being able to relate to what is ahead for these families is irreplaceable. While the support services offered as so vast and multifaceted, I like to describe the goal as: Creating positive and happy memories for the children going through such an unfathomable time in their lives. Creating memories that will remind the children and their parents that they are children. Giving the families a support system by which they can have a common bond during such a difficult time.
More importantly, I feel the Kids Cancer Center offers what no other foundation dealing with childhood cancer provides. A place for the patients and siblings to escape the hospital environment. To be safe, clean and participate in nutrition classes, art classes, teen night out, tutoring for school work and just hang out and play video games or with toys. This invaluable resource is just a mile away from the main hospital and offers parents a place to feel confident their children are being taken care of if they need a few minutes to run errands or take care of things. The cheerful, bright and cozy feel of the center makes it a welcoming "home away from home" for these children and families.
Additional services which I feel are particularly worth noting are the presence the foundation has in the Pediatric Sedation and Infusion @ the hospital. Play carts full of arts and crafts, treasure box prizes (for all children), the presence of a foundation representative/volunteer to offer support and the resources given to the families is unprecedented. Again, distraction therapy with these patients helps the children, as well as, gives the parents a small peace of mind during these long and stressful treatment days.
One last area I would like to mention is the extracurricular activities and events that are offered to the families by KCF. Specifically, family socials, holiday parties, holiday wish lists being fulfilled, cancer prom, BBQs and camp attendance. I have been fortunate enough to offer many scholarships during the school year and for summer for children and siblings to come to our barn located in Wellington, Florida. The children have participated in horseback riding, grooming, barn upkeep, field trips, swimming, equine vet visits and weekly horse show participation. The response that the parents have offered back is positive and life-changing for these patients and siblings. Being able to come to the barn and work with the horses and bond with these animals have been amazing. The transformation I have personally witnessed in personalities, behavior issues, confidence and physical skills in the children is beyond what I can describe in words. This experience is just ONE of many opportunities the foundation provides to the families all year long.
In closing, I have also become quite personally attached to many of the children, siblings and families. The feedback I receive from all is nothing but positive and gracious appreciation for everything the foundation does and stands for. They are speechless most times in expressing the love they have for Michelle, Sandy and volunteers. The voice the Kids Cancer Foundation provides for these little warriors is truly more than they could have imagined. The phrase: "Help Us Help Them Fight" is clearly resonating in Palm Beach County and I am honored to be part of such an amazing foundation.
"Little Warriors Need Big Heroes"
Sincerely,
Kelly A. Wiener
I consider myself very fortunate to volunteer with such an amazing organization. I come from a large family, and my niece once asked me, “uncle Jeriame why do you care? Why do you care about those kids?” Such innocent questions, but it really made me think about why I do this. I told her I volunteer because I want to make a difference in a child’s life.
I've had the privilege of volunteering with the Kids Cancer Foundation for a couple years and attending several events held at Palms Stables. Since I'm not able to contribute a monetary donation I volunteer my time and talents to this organization. Designing their flyers, banners, handouts, etc... whatever they need. But the biggest "thrill" for me is seeing how KCF makes such a huge impact on the lives of these little warriors.
In essence, I see hope. It revitalizes me and reminds me of the impact that KCF has on the lives of these special children and their families. I encourage anyone in the area to take the time and go to the Kids Cancer Foundation center – I am confident it will have the same impact on every visitor.
I feel very blessed to be able to volunteer with such an amazing organization and work with a group of people who put such heart and energy into this humanitarian effort. I hope to be able to do more with The Kids Cancer Foundation in the future, and be as helpful as I can be. For I have realized that whatever energy I contribute, I get back so much more.

My daughter was diagnosed with ALL, the team at Kids Cancer Foundation didn't only help us financially but also to keep our heads in one piece, somehow Michelle helped me find the strength. They make you feel not alone in this journey.
My son was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor at age 3. Kids Cancer Foundation was there from the beginning through treatment and beyond with a helping hand, helpful advice and gracious support. We can't thank them enough!
My sister's 5 year old son has Leukemia. The Kids Cancer Foundation has turned his frown upside down with countless fun activities! Movie night, a tour of a private airport and horse camp are just a few of the wonderful activities they have provided. Thank you, Kids Cancer Foundation!!!
My son was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney cancer at age 3. We were scared, information was flying, and sometimes it was hard to comprehend everything. Kids Cancer Foundation was there for us all, from little things like bringing coffee to the hospital for us parents when our kids stayed overnight, to big things like helping navigate the insurance nightmares that inevitably came. Sandy and Michele were wonderful! Every time we had to go to the hospital, they had something for Noah, which made a 3-4 year old boy very happy in a pretty rough time. We are now almost 4 years cancer free, and I can't thank them enough for everything.
When my grandson, Drew, was diagnosed with Leukemia at 3 and 1/2 years old, the Kids Cancer Foundation, Inc. was instrumental in helping our entire family negotiate the medical and emotional needs of our grandson. They were a crucial part of providing the much needed support to his parents as they negotiated the needed care requirements of a child with cancer. I can't say enough about how knowledgeable and helpful they are with all aspects of continuing care. Drew still has another year of treatment (3 and 1/2 years total), and their support is still available at every twist and turn of his care. Our entire family could not do this without their care and support. Thank you to Michelle and everyone at the Kids Cancer Foundation, Inc. for everything you do!!
Kids Cancer Foundation was such a positive, helpful, exceptional source for my family when my daughter had Hodgekins Lymphoma 3.5 years ago. 3 years cancer free last month!!! They are a source of information unparallelled. Sandy and Michelle are two of the sweetest most positive people you will ever meet. Love KCF so much that my daughter and I volunteer with them when they need us. Giving back to those that gave so much to us!
I have watched this group do anything possible to help children and their families endure the experience of a child with cancer. They help with agencies, treatments and the process of living with this. They also know how to engage a community to help. The holidays are still made joyful and the challenges are made bearable by their actions. I have also seen the tears when a battle is lost, and the tears of joy when a treatment is complete.
As a parent of a childhood cancer survivor, I am so blessed to be a part of this foundation. There were so many unmet needs for our children before the Kids Cancer Foundation. It was scary and lonely when going through treatment with my daughter (then ages 2 through 5). The families now have the medical expertise of our Patient Care Navigator to explain the diagnosis, treatments and side effects, they also have the programs that give the families a chance to connect with other families on the same journey and to come away from their journey with some good memories. This foundation gives each child with cancer and their family HOPE and SUPPORT throughout their journey and even after they are off treatment. We are family!
These are the most upbeat positive group of people. They work tirelessly and provide such an amazing service & support group for those in a time of extreme distress. They shine bright in a gloomy situation and help to make it not as scary. Great group with open hearts!
My son was diagnosed with cancer when he was 2. At such a trying time, the Kids Cancer Foundation was there from the beginning. They offered advice, facts and information. I had a million questions and they were always there to answer and help. The events they have for the kids are amazing. They go above and beyond to make these kids feel so special. It's hard to put into words just how great Kids Cancer Foundation actually is. My son never dreaded going to the hospital, he looked forward to it, because he knew they would be there with smiling faces and games and crafts for him to do!!!
I was introduced to The Kids Cancer Foundation by a friend and started to volunteer at the center. I was quite impressed by this organization and the clients that came through felt a real sense of community. A short time later, my 3 year old nephew was diagnosed with leukemia. At this point, I experienced and continue to experience the Kids Cancer Foundation from another perspective. They have been so involved with my nephew's recovery from day one. They have been there through the most difficult times and for the celebrations as well. What they provide to families is so amazing it cannot be put into words. They provide support, both emotional and financial, and they truly know each and every family that they are involved with. I really do not know what our family would have done without them!
The South Florida kids Cancer Foundation is an amazing Foundation .To see the smiles that they put on these little kids face stricken with cancer is heartfelt and a pleasure , we as a family are so humbled ,honored and grateful.they have touched so many lives.my family and I are internally grateful.

We could do none of this without the support of volunteers like you. Thank you so much for your continued support.
