I have worked for Kidpower since long before I had my own children, and have always believed in the skills and mission of the organization. But since having my children, I have really learned about how Kidpower skills can improve so many aspects of our lives. It's not just about preventing problems, it's really about enjoying life to the fullest. Every parenting technique I've tried has been improved and informed by my Kidpower training. We try to keep our Kidpower core safety skills centered in our parenting choices. It not only makes parenting easier, it makes it more fun!
Kidpower has taught me parenting skills that improve my communication with my family.
My daughter took a weekend class and I was so amazed at how much confidence she has now and she is able to speak up about things she does not like even with her friends.
Thank you Kidpower!
The principles, skills, and tools that I have learned through Kidpower have positively impacted my life in ways that are too numerous to list here. But I'll try!
I discovered Kidpower when I was in my 20s, and from the beginning, Kidpower's timeless lessons about personal safety and healthy relationships helped me be more aware and confident, and helped me make better life decisions.
In my 30s, Kidpower helped me get through tough times as a parent of toddlers, and helped me have hard conversations with other parents about issues of safety and boundaries with greater ease.
In my 40s, Kidpower was there for my family as my kids navigated middle and high school, complete with friendship struggles, bullying, online dangers, growing independence, and even dating!
Now, I'm in my 50s and my kids are leaving for college. We are STILL looking to Kidpower for guidance about how to make these life transitions confidently, and how to stay connected across distance in a way that is appropriate for my kids' ages.
I am forever grateful to Kidpower for helping me and my family create strong relationships and habits that support our physical and emotional well-being.
Kidpower is not just another nonprofit. Kidpower is truly dedicated to the physical and emotional well-being of ALL. Kidpower is a force for good!
Kidpower is an amazing nonprofit! First and foremost, the programs they offer on people safety are world-class. Their teaching methods emphasize teaching people practical skills in a safe and non-threatening manner. Any participant in any workshop will come away with a host of skills that are effective and useful for everyday living, as well as for keeping yourself safe in high risk situations.
I first came across Kidpower when I was looking for a program to help young women learn self-defense skills. At the time (over 20 years ago!) Kidpower was just developing the teen programs. I joined Kidpower, first as an office assistant and then as a teacher, and have remained committed to the organization in one way or another for all these years. Kidpower offers a resource to the world that is in a class of it's own! The interesting thing, is that although I first sought out Kidpower for self-defense skills, I quickly discovered that the skills they taught changed my life by helping me improve my self-esteem, practice effective boundary setting skills, and develop a more refined sense about how to stay out of danger in the first place.
I use the Kidpower resource library all the time. I refer to The Kidpower Book routinely as a parent, and I am now utilizing the Kidpower resources on bullying to address workplace issues. The writings, cartoons and videos that Kidpower has available are very helpful and easy to search.
I have worked with Kidpower since its inception, and have personally seen their work and their trainings for instructors and other program presenters both here and abroad. They are unparalleled in the world not only in the breadth, appropriateness and effectiveness of their programs, but in their ethics and incredible level of freely sharing information that can keep children and others safe from physical or emotional abuse!
Carol Middleton, Director, DC Self Defense
The skills that I received from Kidpower International helped me to reach more and more vulnerable children by teaching Kidpower Safety Skills in Nepal. So far I received all trainings free of cost which helped me to gain knowledge, techniques and skills which I am transforming to others in creating a safe environment to children. These skills are very easy to learn, teach and act promptly with our own power which are becoming popular in our country.
En personne ou un ligne un organisme professionnelle et indispensable !
Cet organisme, par sa mission, a changé ma vie. De participante je suis devenu animatrice, c’est plus qu’un travail, c’est une passion.
I’m volunteering for Kidpower to help teach it’s classes. I have worked with Kidpower for 30 years and have been astounded at how well they treat the people who work inside the organization, as well as those they are serving. The program has been carefully crafted over the years to help children, adults and differently abled people keep themselves emotionally and physically safe. I am deeply moved in every class I participate in, at the difference it makes in their lives. My own life and my daughter’s life have been enriched by this program, by giving us more tools to respond to the difficulties in our lives. For example: One of my daughter’s Uncles has had troubles with drug addiction and the law. My daughter was able to resist his attempts to manipulate her to help him, which would have put her in great danger, through the lessons she learned from Kidpower. I myself have learned how to de-escalate difficult situations, and how to assess possible risks better. I recommend this program to everyone.
Kidpower provides wonderful training in how to stay safe for children of all ages. They also are careful to walk their talk, in other words they operation the non-profit in a way that is respectful and not abusive of anyone. I admire them tremendously. I was honored to serve on their Board of Directors for many years.
This organization is an unique one for providing safe skills to people of all ages and it works for both prevention and protection.
Kidpower has helped 2 generations of our family learn how to set boundaries and stay safe from trouble. My niece took the class as an 8 year old, and incorporated many of the skills into her life. Later, When at a Jr. High school dance in 6th grade, she was groped by a group of older boys. To my surprise, when she returned home that night, she was not upset, feeling slimed, but rather was full of pride in having stopped the boys from hurting her and her friends. She walked away from an uncomfortable situation knowing she had choices, she could stop the harm, and she had the physical skills to back her words up in an emergency. She carried this knowledge through her teenage years and now as a mother, is teaching her kids kidpower skills. Our family feels so lucky to have found a partner in our children’s safety.
Working with this organization is my absolute privilege. All the leadership and instructors are very professional and passionate about their work. Kidpower is changing the world one workshop at a time!
Kidpower International relentlessly pushes the need for safety in different communities worldwide. With their limited budget and resources, they train individuals worldwide so that they can teach in their communities.
Kidpower International is an extremely committed Non Profit which is working for the last few years on a single very important cause: safety of communities not only in USA but world wide. We all know how important this is but we take it for granted. Kidpower International reminds us how important safety is but also equips us with different strategies on how to ensure our and other people safety.
Kidpower has all the resources needed to teach people of all ages how to stay safe, emotionally and physically. Kidpower's people safety skills take a revolutionary approach teaching people how to communicate effectively, set boundaries, and respond to unsafe situations appropriately. Although I wish I was taught Kidpower skills when I was a kid, I am so thankful to have found the organization, and I'm looking forward to a lifetime of learning and teaching Kidpower!
When I think of all the unsafe situations I found myself in as a child and as a teen, I think about how much better my life would have been if I had had Kidpower skills. I am so grateful that my kids get to grow up being their most confident and aware selves; how to set and hold respectful boundaries; how to identify and escape from unsafe situations of all types. Kidpower helps parents feel less anxious when their kids are out in the world and we're not around to protect them every moment. If every person on the planet had Kidpower, what a safer and happier world we would have!! Absolutely the best organization in the world, and I'm so glad they exist and that I can contribute to Kidpower's longevity.
As a volunteer I have seen their workshops transform kids and adults alike. From preschoolers to older women living in residence hotels to teenagers, everyone learns skills that are relevant, empowering, and easy to remember. Safety and confidence without instilling fear or being unrealistic, what a bargain! Staff is also professional, enthusiastic, and unrelentingly kind.
I am with Kidpower since 2004 and it has changed my life!
Kidpower has been doing important work for children and people of all ages to help keep our communities and each other safe and this worldwide.
They have great resources like wonderful articles in different languages about safety and great webinars.
I am happy to be with Kidpower!
Contact Kidpower there is always great support!
I am from Germany and I went to several instructor trainings to become a Kidpower instructor. From Germany it is a long way to go to CA and the flights are really expensive but for me it was always worth to do that. I learned a lot in the instructor trainings not only to teach children how to stay safe also for my whole life how I can protect myself and how to cope with difficult situations. Thanks a lot Kidpower!
Kidpower International is an exceptional global community of people who are passionate and knowledgable about the wellbeing and safety and children and adults! five stars is too little!
Excellent work. Love the perseverance shown by the entire team led by the founder Irene Van der Zande.
I'm so grateful for the work Kidpower does to contribute to "safety for all" by teaching people of all ages the skills to keep themselves and others safe. Kidpower walks its talk by upholding its values in interactions and decisions that its leaders engage in, even if it means having hard conversations. Kidpower's "Tools to Live By" are tools that everyone can practice. I especially value: setting boundaries, taking responsibility, checking first, staying present, acting wisely, taking charge of your safety, being kind to yourself, and celebrating success. Kidpower not only teaches safety skills, but also life skills. Thank you, Kidpower!
Kidpower has been doing important work for children and people of all ages to help keep our communities and each other safe. I am so grateful that an organization like Kidpower exists!
The material offered in these courses both online and in person when they are allowed, are the most comprehensive skills for building self-esteem as well as physical skills that are offered anywhere. Thank You Kidpower!
KIDPOWER's 25 year history of teaching safety skills to people of all ages Internationally speaks for itself. It's leaders, staff, and volunteers are motivated from their heart to make a difference in the world. Thank you to all who keep this organization offering its program worldwide!
I attended my 1st Kidpower workshop when my son was in 2nd grade - he’s now a sophomore in college! Throughout those years, he and I participated in numerous workshops and trainings. The skills and perspective we learned through them continue to support our safety and inform how we interact in relationship, both, with each other and with others.
Kidpower shines with integrity and commitment in their work to truly make the world a safer place for everyone, everywhere. I wish it were possible to give them more than just 5 stars!
I’m so appreciative of the new webinars Kidpower is making available to help us all stay safe with each other during these unprecedented times. Their work is timely, proactive, and practical!
Kidpower is amazing. They really do prevent childhood trauma that can last a lifetime. I am a donor and ally to the organization because they help so many people around the world.
I'm proud of being part of this amazing organization. What we learn and teach is vital and has changed millions of lives, as my own: To believe in ourselves, respect others, take charge of our safety, get help when needed, advocate for others, prevent and stop problems with people as early and effectively as possible, and much more.
These are some testimonials from participants of online workshops in nursing homes in Argentina as the pandemic caused many workers to stay in their working places during months to keep.
"Thank you Kidpower, today's session changed our day".
Today in a moment of crisis, I believe I used all the tools I learnt from Kidpower".
"The skill I remember and practice the most every day is the Kidpower Calm Down Power".
"I miss my family but I love my job taking care of people. And until today I hadn't realized that I felt guilty on both sides for not being present enough. Today I learned to protect myself from those harmful feelings and words I felt so attached to. I give my best at every moment".
I met Kidpower in 2009. I personally benefited greatly from the skills they teach and I am happy to work in Argentina to form a local Kidpower center, looking forward to helping many people in our country to prevent problems related to violence and abuse, with the comprehensive and unique perspective of Kidower. We aspire to spread Kidpower's way of working, teaching and cooperating which includes a methodology to address safety that we consider a treasure, because, as I have witnessed many times, it can change the mentality and life of many people of all ages and abilities, in different cultures globally. I trust wih all my heart that because of Irene van der Zande and her inspiring and devoted work along with the awesome team working with her, the world is, and hopefully will be in the future, a safer and happier place to live for milliions of children (and those who were children once). And I'm proud to be one of them!
Kidpower International has changed my life. The work they do is SO important, I wish that every single person in the WORLD could learn the skills that they teach. Kidpower makes sure that a person's ability to pay is not an obstacle to getting what they need to learn to be safe...this is a huge reason why I like to support Kidpower financially. THANK YOU for all that you do to help people everywhere!!!
I have two teenagers in large, busy, urban high schools. Even though they did not want to go to "Teenpower," they thank me every single week, for making them go! From dealing with aggressive and/or mentally ill people on the city bus, to managing social dynamics in the classroom, advocating for themselves with their teachers, and navigating complex dating relationships, my kids believe that Teenpower has truly made their lives better. And they THANK ME! So, you just know that this organization is amazing. Thank you, Kidpower!
This is an amazing organization. I am so impressed by the work that they do and the impact they have on the community. I am so honored to work with them.
KidPower is an organization that shares great information for kid safety freely and effectively. It's been a much needed resource for me personally and professionally as I teach skills in a non-scarey way to my children and other families I work with. I have hosted a community training to share this information and all who attended really appreciated the way Irene taught in a succinct way. As a Safe Routes to School Coordinator in 7 schools in our town of Moscow Idaho, KidPower has been my go-to resource to teach parents the importance of walking and biking to school and how to teach our kids personal safety rules while on the streets. I have seen parents and and counselors use this much needed information as they teach their kids how to navigate the world safely. We really appreciate what this non-profit offers us! Thank you Irene and staff!
Kidpower's tools have really changed my life. They are so simple yet so effective in teaching us to make small changes in the way we conduct ourselves, how we address problems, how we talk to others and even in how we talk to ourselves. I can't recommend it enough!!
Something worth noting is that all of the people who I've encountered from this organization are so inspiring because they truly practice what they preach.
The webinars are such great tools and much needed response to online access learning.
Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International has dedicated themselves to meeting the diverse needs of children, teens, and adults in the groups they serve. I accompanied my daughter to three separate trainings, and I used the lessons and the language presented to reinforce the skills she learned at different ages. In 2019, I facilitated Kidpower and Teenpower workshops specifically tailored to students with special needs in my school district in 2019. The students, educators, and parents who participated were enthusiastic about the safety and empowerment skills learned by all. Each person attending the workshop was given the opportunity to practice the skills and to receive coaching and written materials to enable them to practice at home and at school. The respect afforded each participant, the care and commitment to growing the curriculum, and the passionate pursuit of inclusivity make this organization worthy of my 5-star rating.
THis is a great source for professional and practical information.
I am grateful to be trained and practice Kidpower safety skills everyday. I am thrilled to share these skills and knowledge and above all, love with people in Vietnam. I am more than happy to see sparkling eyes of parents, child professionals and especially children and teenagers during and after each workshops.
Such an incredible tool! Thank you for sharing and teaching it to my family.
Thank you for offering these free webinars during the COVID19 quarantine period! So grateful! With tensions at home in families exacerbated by long periods of proximity, these boundary and emotional protection techniques are a timely resource! As a parent support coordinator at my school, with the additional time at home, I have been grateful to attend these and prepare to pass them on to families and students!
Thank you Kidpower for your wonderful, practical work. These lessons are so easily understood and practiced that it is hopeful to internalize them in children and vulnerable adults. You are doing a world of good!
The values and vision of Kidpower align with my professional vision as an educator. This is why I support Kidpower goals and concern in protecting the safety and welfare of children.
Ms. Irene's dedication and commitment to help parents, teachers and children are remarkable.
I highly recommend teachers and schools to connect and be apart of this great organization.
More power to Kidpower!
I enjoyed your useful material on child sexual abuse، Thanks a lot
The best experience for kids! Everyone should do it!
Definitely recommend it.
Kid power is the best more effective and caring organization that I have encountered in my search for helping children build their self esteem .
This is the useful and practical topics in helping to self-protect the kids and teens from offenders.
Training as an instructor with Kidpower changed my entire perspective on safety. Not only is physical safety important — emotional safety is just as crucial, which is something I hadn't ever prioritized in the same way. I got to pass on Kidpower's fun, effective and simple techniques to my students. Watching them practice techniques that got them to speak up in class, look people in the eye, and show confidence I hadn't seen in them was so awesome. Kidpower's mission is noble but they accomplish it in such a down-to-earth way. Kidpower made me a better teacher and a better aunt. They have given me more confidence in becoming a parent someday because I feel I can better prepare my kids for things I wasn't prepared for in my life. Kidpower is truly making a difference with a brilliant, loving team of people and I'm proud to be on the journey with them! Thank you!
Congratulations to the Kidpower team on their successes and the globalization of their educational content.
I am an Iranian faculty member and one of my favorite work line is Child Sexual Abuse Prevention.
I'm honored to be meet Kidpower. Its lessons are simple and very practical. I personally used those in my student, parents and their kids education. Even I intend to translate some of the topics into Persian after I get permission from Kidpower officials.
I am glad to be able to use your topics from Iran as well.
I have taken my child to their workshop each year for 3 years now. It's great place to learn yourself and coach your child around safety for kids in the public and private places. Topics covered are among others setting boundaries, behavior around bullies, stranger danger etc.
My family and I have attended a total of 3 Kidpower workshops between us throughout the years, and I cannot even express how invaluable these workshops are to the well-being and the empowerment of children (and parents). After attending the workshop, my children are more aware of their surroundings, and have gained confidence while out in public because of their awareness and their "safety powers" that they now know that they possess. As for me, I came home with knowledge and confidence on what and how to teach them about safety. Kidpower has been life-changing for my family. Simply put, Kidpower workshops should be a requirement for every parent and child.
Kidpower has helped nearly 6 million children, parents, educators and safety officers worldwide to take charge of their safety. The free resources available on their resources on such critical topics as cyberbullying, sexual abuse, domestic violence, harassment, teasing and more are amazing. They offer workshops and trainings - every effort to help people from all walks of life and abilities to feel safer and more secure. And among the unique features is they do it using methods that are fun vs. fear-based, enabling people to learn in a constructive way. Celebrating 30 years in 2019, this is truly a worthy organization.
Today, safety is a critical issue for everyone. Whether for yourself, your child, your students or others, the importance of knowing how to take charge of your safety - what to do, what to say, where to go - is mission critical. And this is why I am a supporter of Kidpower, and most highly recommend them.
From free resources on their website, to trainings designed for children, seniors, peace officers, and the list goes on... to helping people learn the necessary skills and best practices to protect themselves against bullying, cyber-bullying, harassment, abuse - we need more organizations like Kidpower in this world. I urge you to learn more about them and take advantage of all they have to offer, and support them in their amazing work.
We all talk about "empowerment". Kidpower is all about empowering you to take charge of your safety - in the smartest ways you can.
It is a nonprofit organization with a genuine and strong commitment in relation to the safety and wellbeing of humans.
They do a great job promoting their vision with hard work and passion.
I am very lucky to get to know this organization.
Kidpower has been an incredible learning experience. I have been teaching Self Defense for kids for close to two decades before finding Kidpower and since have realized that Kidpowers program is very useful and even more important than just physical skills needed to fight which is what I was previously teaching.
Prior to Kidpower I was basically teaching students how to "defend themselves". A visiting friend (ex police instructor) said to me "you are teaching people to fight, lots of deadly skills, but that not true self defense, check out kidpower" . I went online and contacted a Kidpower instructor and from there went on to the Kidpower training program to learn the Kidpower system. How to avoid a fight is as important as knowing how to fight and its quoted in the "Art of War" winning a fight is walk away without fighting.
Irene hands on worked with the instructors and the more experienced senior instructors were extremely helpful and passionate in passing on their experiences and knowledge. I highly recommend Kidpower to anyone teaching children, females, elderly, etc.
I have had the experience of attending adult, teen and child kidpower and teen power training and am very impressed with the methods, the style, and the content of the teaching. They get the students tools they can use right away to stay safe around people. It would be so interesting to know how many bad incidents have been prevented, I would guess there is a substantial impact of their work!
The staff is caring and excellent.
The Kidpower skills I have mastered have made me a better parent and better teacher. I have included Kidpower lessons in my classroom and they have helped make our preschool classroom more peaceful , safe, and fun place for everyone.
The Kidpower skills I have learned have made me a more effective teacher and parent.
I have been an instructor with Kidpower for 17 years. This is an organization with incredibly high standards and a strong commitment to creating safer communities. I have never been connected with a group of people with a higher level of integrity. I have also been on the receiving end of Kidpower's services, both as a parent and as a Fullpower participant to help cope with challenging life situations. John Luna-Sparks
Kidpower = Integrity. Thank you Kidpower for enriching my life as a student in workshops and as a Kidpower Instructor!
I encountered Kidpower through my neighbor when my now 8-year-old daughter was an infant. I watched how my neighbor used positive and thoughtful language to help her daughters navigate sibling rivalry, and I wanted this tool for myself. She told me about the Kidpower safety comics and I ordered 2, one to give away. I used that and wanted more skills so I went to a Fullpower class and practiced how to be aware, use self defense and not be triggered by aggressive behaviors. I still wanted more so I attended a safety skills class with my now 5-year old daughter. Since then I have taken her to more safety classes, and decided to become a Kidpower instructor myself. This organization is intentionally caring to its clients and employees, respectful of people's needs and differences. I have loved working with them, using their strategies, and have felt very supported during my journey to become an instructor with them.
Truely a life changing experience!
Proud to be part of the Montreal team and of that bigger and bigger circle of safe and powerful people!
It tells by itself, I am a volunteer since 10 years now in Montreal and I will continue to spread security skills to make the world a safer place!
I discovered Kidpower 24 years ago. My children, now 23 and 21, have benefited in countless ways as a result of Kidpower. As a parent, I have been able to turn to this resource when my toddlers were dealing with overly affectionate relatives and friends who threw sand, when my elementary age kids were starting overnights with friends, when social media and online gaming entered our lives, and when they began traveling out of state on their own. As I hear them talk with friends and family and see them with their partners and colleagues, I can see firsthand how Kidpower skills of projecting awareness, setting and respecting boundaries, advocating for themselves and others, moving away from trouble, and managing their own personal triggers help them be safer and also support respectful, caring communication in their meaningful relationships. Kidpower has been like a trusted friend through my decades of parenting, and my kids are safer and stronger as a result. My gratitude is boundless.
As the parent of an LGBTQ child, I have more peace of mind that my child has skills to be safer thanks to Kidpower. I cannot prevent my child from being the target of bigotry and identity-based harassment or violence, but Kidpower gives us both skills for taking charge early in safety situations. I sleep better, worry less, and my child reports feeling safer and more confident. I am grateful!
I know this organisation for now 30 years and it does not cease to impress me by how it walks the talk and upholds highest standards.
Kidpower's approach to safety is so positive and hands-on, it just stays with you and helps build positive relationships everywhere in your life.
After doing a course in Switzerland, I was hooked and 21 years later we now have taught over 36,000 people in New Zealand, where I live with my family.
People who have done Kidpower, Teenpower or Fullpower so often report to not only feel and be safer but also happier.
The organisation upholds high values and standards. It's definitely one that deserves to get five stars. ( :
I've been a supporter, partner, and donor to Kidpower since I first heard about the idea, shortly before it came into being. I am consistently very positively impressed with the work, skills, tools, and benefits Kidpower has provided to people around the country and many places around the world. I am proud to be a Kidpower supporter and to use the many, many strategies and skills I have learned from my experiences with this amazing organization.
I love Kidpower! I have trained under some of the most wonderful, passionate advocates for child safety on the planet. As I've interacted with them, I have noticed their lives are a continuous "role-play" of the skills they teach children of all ages. Now that I am a certified instructor under their tutelage, I am enjoying teaching people safety skills in a fun, interactive way with proven results. Here is something from one of the children I taught:
"I learned about how to keep myself safe and to never be afraid to speak up and tell someone if I need help."
I have been a recipient of Kidpower’s love and compassion for over 20 years. This is an organization that treats each person with dignity and respect, meeting each person where they are and helping them to learn and practice skills that assist them to thrive in a world where some people who have problems cause other people problems. People of all ages, no matter your story or background can benefit from the work of this organization.
Kidpower is a well-established community organization focused on safety training. It offers a variety of age-appropriate programs for kids, teens, and adults. As a parent and school teacher, I have much respect for this organization. My kids and I participated in their child-safety workshops, and I was very impressed with the form and content – quality information presented in fun, positive activities. As a school teacher, I have found Kidpower literature an invaluable resource for developing social-emotional learning and community in the classroom. The information is well-researched, accessible, and authentic – excellent tools for building safe and inclusive community.
KidPower does a wonderful job in teaching kids and other vulnerable people how to be safe. They do so in and efficient and effective way through a variety of mediums including in person classes, books, articles, and videos.
When it comes to safety and self-protection, Kidpower is WAY upstream in its approach to preventing harm and violence. The work is skills-based interactive training for people of all ages and their families. Everyone knows the skills so they can be reinforced daily.
Age appropriate and skill based learning that lasts a lifetime!
Since I have joined Kidpower team I have met wonderfull persons, committed to make this world saver.
I am so happy and proud to be part of this human adventure.
TuTrinh, French center director in Paris
As a mother, I see that practicing with my kids is far more efficient than telling them a hundred times how to keep safe. This is what Kidpower is offering to kids all over the world. There is a Kidpower workshop close to your home and if not, build it. Since I've joined the Kidpower training, I've met great people in a team with a unique diversity how are helping me developing a new center in Paris, France.
Our daughter participated in a workshop and brought home the coloring book. She's been coloring in it, teaching her 3 year old sister how to be strong and confident. A must in this day and age.
Kidpower is and always will be the most effective approach to personal safety. It is fun and engaging while offering tools of dignity and respect for all involved. I believe the Kidpower curriculum should be in all schools.
Kidpower has been instrumental in helping families in our community for over 25 years.
Great programme aimed at keeping our children safe.
I was wanting to start teaching child safety workshops in South Africa, so when researching books. I found the Kidpower book on Amazon. The skills taught were really easy to learn and was so relevant to every day life. I read other books but nothing has come close to relevance of Kidpower skills. I believe every child should have access to the teachings of Kidpower.
Proactive, interactive skills and situations for children, parents and teacher. This builds awareness and self-confidence.
Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower is a program that has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. It is inclusive, honest, and at its very core, is most concerned with people safety and how to teach it to as many people as possible. I feel very fortunate to be part of this organization.
For close to 30 years, I've personally benefitted from tools gained from KidPower. I've witnessed many children's lives be empowered by the strategies KidPower practices. Children can feel safe. Now I'm proud to have become a board member of this fine organization.
