As a new family to the area, I liked the idea of being able to fund vetted nonprofits. There are so many groups in need. This is a great way to help projects that matter to the community and that you know are making a difference, not just taking your money. Once I joined the board, I learned even more and am in love with the way Kerr County United Way is organized and the way the money is valued not just spent.

Mission: Kerr County United Way (KCUW) provides an avenue for consolidating the fund raising efforts of many charities into one fund drive. KCUW has an annual fund drive and then grants funds to non-profits in Kerr County that have applied for funding assistance.
Results: $167,500 in allocated grants were given in 2023
