I love volunteering with Kenzi’s Causes. It’s great to give back to a small non profit making such a big impact in the community. Jessica and Julie do such wonderful work. Happy to be a small part of it!

Kenzie’s Causes has become an huge part of our families life. After losing two children, in late miscarriage and stillbirth, our lives changed forever. My heart ached knowing my children would be forgotten by many. I searched for ways to keep their memory alive and ways to use our loss to help others. Insert Kenzi’s.

We have found an organization that is near and dear to our hearts. Giving back to families in such intimate ways has given us connection. In every opportunity Kenzie’s Causes provides, there is connection, from Packz for Kids to being a Miracle Maker and everything in between. We know our time and funds are going directly to low-income families in our area and often get to see the smiles and gratefulness of those families in person. It’s a truly rewarding nonprofit to give back to. Thank you for all you do.

This has been such a great organization for the state of Colorado. They focus strictly on the needs that affect our communities. Their holiday shops do more for the children of our community than others and the Kenzi’s Kidz program really helps out families in need. I’ve been volunteering for them for over 10 years and it’s great to see some familiar faces of those we’ve helped give back to the community as well!

The story behind Kenzi's Causes is both heart-wrenching and inspiring. The fact that such a tremendous effort for positive change was born out of personal suffering speaks volumes about the founder's character and the values at the core of this organization. What is particularly commendable about Kenzi's Causes is its genuine commitment to creating tangible impact. They have taken the time to understand the communities' needs, devising programs and initiatives that bring real, palpable change to countless lives. From supporting children with annual school supplies and necessities to providing families with essential resources, the reach of Kenzi's Causes is broad and deep. Kenzi Causes has always open their doors for my family . They have been there to help support and show kindness throughout all seasons of my life . I am very appreciative towards this non profit for giving my son a safe space to grow , to learn , to meet life long friends throughout the community and to have opportunities to participate in events through summer programs . Kenzi's Causes is an amazing non-profit that I've been lucky enough to support for almost one year now. The organization provides direct support to local families and children with a focus on new backpacks & school supplies, toys & clothes around the holidays, and other family-friendly events for its partner families throughout the year. They identify one-time urgent needs that would otherwise go unmet and our donors meet those needs. We have supported Kenzi’s Causes for years with donations as we feel strongly about the mission to help low income families in our community. In recent years we have gotten more involved with volunteering at events and have been so inspired by the families as well as the Kenzi’s Causes team and volunteers! This is a great organization with strong leadership to guide and strive toward the mission to help touch lives of those families in our city that need it most. I have been a part of Kenzi’s Causes for just a shirt while, but their dedication to the people they serve is unparalleled. Their events are well organized and supported, they actively work to extend their reach to help more and more families, and their goal is to serve families long term in a variety of ways.

I was on the board of Kenzi's Causes (then called Dolls for Daughters) for many years during its early growth and establishment. I resigned for a few years because of other commitments, but I came back to the advisory board because I missed the good people and the great work this organization does in the community helping children and families in difficult situations. The assistance Kenzi's provides makes a huge difference in many lives.

Kenzi's Causes is an amazing orginization! While other orginizations support national efforts, Kenzi's is a local non-profit supporting local Colorado communities. They understand the needs of our unique state and help serve those in need.
Many of the families they serve are single parents who are underserved in the community, thus providing services to best help these families with needs to help them start to thrive. Through their Kenzi's Kidz program and K Club they connect kids with adult advisors that can help these children find mentorship through activities in the community.
Finally, during their annual holiday toy shop, Kenzi's is able to help provide new toys to underprivileged children throughout the state of Colorado. Unlike other services that do this, they are truly open to every family having a greater reach than national orginizations.

Volunteering here is always such a breath of fresh air. The team makes sure that not only do the attendees but the volunteers face any issues with attending or volunteering at the events. Kenzi's Causes does a phenomenal job coordinating unique, fun and new activities for the children in the program. Jessica and Julie do a terrific job ensuring the children have quality school supplies that allow them to remain in style and start the school year with the confidence boost they may need. It has been a true pleasure being on the board and helping the organization grow and serve more children.

I have volunteered with Kenzi's Causes in various roles over the past 5+ years and have directly seen the impact this non-profit makes in Colorado. From providing backpacks and new holiday gifts to kids, to supporting families who need groceries, utility bills paid, and transportation to work - Kenzi's steps in to make things happen for these families.

Kenzi's Causes does amazing work in the community from making sure the families in the program have consistent food and normalcy for the families. The kids are able to celebrate their birthdays, and holidays like their peers in different financial situations. The kids are outfitted for school with backpacks, and supplies and ensure they are successful in their grades. This organization helps so many families and you get to see the direct impact money donated goes to families in almost real time.

Kenzi's Causes is a great organization that is focused on helping the underprivileged community. They support families by providing a variety of resources. They hold annual events like a Christmas toy shop and a backpack program. I am proud to support Kenzi's Causes and their great work!

I was introduced to Kenzi's Causes when Our Family was in transitional housing due to be coming homeless back in 2018.Our Family has been so Blessed by this organization! My Kinship Children have been able to experience and participate in activities and events that they may not otherwise been able to.Kenzi's Causes works endlessly to help All the Familys and bring Smiles and joy to Our Children. I was introduced to Kenzi's Causes when I was going through a domestic violence relationship. I was trying to get away from the relationship and when I finally did get away I needed help for my 2 children. I was never judged and always thought of and helped with food and clothes. Christmas time was always hard and Kenzi's Causes always made it happen for my kids and I. I am so grateful to have this non profit that always has my back. Jessica told me from the start she would always be there and she is still here to this day. Kenzi's Causes tries to help in whatever way they can and provide multiple resources. My kids love the events and we are blessed to be apart of this organization.

It's so wonderful to be a part of such an amazing organization. Kenzi's Causes continues to support Colorado children and their families with various programs throughout the year. Kenzi's Causes has a powerful roster of staff and volunteers standing behind Jessica Bachus' mission. Could not think of a better and more impactful local non profit. They do amazing work not only helping individual families...but also giving back to the community by serving kids with School Supplies (Backpacks) as well as Toy Shops throughout Colorado for kids in need during the holidays.

Kenzi's Cause has helped our family so much! With everything from helping put food on the table, my son Jameson's school cloths and furniture for our home. Kenizi's Cause has amazing activity's that my kids otherwise would not be able to experience. They are helping my family with car so I no longer have to truck my kids around in the snow another winter and no more long bus rides each and every day!! This program has helped in so many more was but that's just a few of the ways they have helped. We are blessed to be apart of this program and they are truly changing lives! Above ALL they give their love and support so my self and family NEVER feel alone. Thank you Kenzi's Cause you are a true Blessing!!!

As a single mother it was often that I scrambled to have enough money to pay for food, clothing and other essentials. I felt alone and scared a lot of the time. I had to constantly make hard choices, I either paid the rent or purchased food, as simple as that. Then I became a part of Kenzi's Causes. They made the holidays a time to remember for my children and I. They provided us with a wonderful brunch, crafts and gifts. My daughter wanted to learn to drive and work on getting her drivers permit but I couldn't afford to pay for the teen drivers courses. Kenzi's Causes took care of it. My son had outgrown his bed over a year ago, but those things where luxuries in my home until I had the help from Kenzi's Causes who purchased a new bed for him! The look on his face when the bed was delivered is priceless. Birthday gifts, summer crafts and essentials have all been provided to us, a long with support and reassurance. With the novel Covid-19, more worries arose, Kenzi's Causes assisted me with paying my rent and gift cards to buy essentials continue to arrive to this day. I am very grateful for being a part of Kenzi's Causes, for the help and support Jessica and all the sponsors provide us with. Tho I continue to be a single parent, I no longer feel alone, and it's all thanks to Kenzi's Causes.

I am a single mother of 3 sons. We've have been a family in Kenzi's Causes for the last 5 years. They have impacted our family in so many ways. We've received Christmas gifts, Easter baskets, school supplies with new backpacks, furniture, food, gift cards for food and gas. We've also been so lucky to get Zoo memberships and family pictures taken a number of times to ensure we get the ability to have these greats memories. They have helped with getting the boys clothing and family birthday gift cards. We have truly been blessed to have become a part of this amazing nonprofit Kenzi's Causes!! We could never begin to say thank them enough for all they have provided for our family and understand fully how important they are to so many other families.

From homelessness to a hine and every triumph I've faced, Kenzi's Kids have been here for me and my children. I can nor imagine where I would be if it weren't for this exceptionally wonderful program. I would not have made it thru my hard times without this help.

My 3 children and I just got accepted into this program. We feel so blessed to be apart of this group. I am a mother who fled a toxic relationship and left everything behind for the sake of a better life for my kids. I am grateful for the opportunity and hope to rebuild our life. I realized that when you die you only die with the memories you share and you don't take the material belongings with you. Nothing is more important than leaving a lasting impression on others. Kenzie's kids is a great program that helps without asking for anything in return. They truly are selfless. When I felt like no one understood my situation I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Julie and Jessica. I was so guarded and scared and now I actually feel like I have support. This is a great program and I am very thankful to be apart of it.

I have only been working with Kenzis Causes since August, and in even though it has been such a short period of time, they have had a tremendous impact on mine and my families lives. It is truly such an amazing and passionate organization and we are so blessed to have them.

I've had the privilege of volunteering for Kenzi's Causes (formerly Dolls for Daughters). I've helped at the Denver Christmas Toy Store for the past several years. One of my jobs was to "work the line" outside of the venue, handing out tickets, conveying information, etc. The very fact that a large number of people wait in line FOR SEVERAL DAYS (and it's a bit cold here in December!) shows how much the value what this organization offers at Christmastime. There are now "toy stores" throughout Colorado and Kenzi's Causes has expanded to meet even more needs of underprivileged children. Take a look for yourself and I think you'll agree that KC is worth your time and money!

Kenzi's Causes is an amazing organization that does so much for the community. I first came to know of Kenzi's Causes by volunteering at their annual Toy Shop three years ago. I will never forget driving up to the National Western Complex where the event is held—I immediately began to cry when I saw the seemingly unending line wrap all the way around the complex. It was clear that so many of the people in line had spent the night in order to have a good spot in line. I couldn't believe the lengths these parents/families were willing to go to just to get a toy for their child. Like most of us, I was fortunate enough to grow up always having gifts under the tree and never even thought what it would be like to not have that experience. It quickly became evident that day as I worked with the families that for many of the children this would be the only toy they receive all year. Since that time I have been lucky enough to watch Kenzi's Causes grow and have seen that the Toy Shop is just the tip of the iceberg as to what they provide to our community. From their impressive Packz4Kidz program, which gave over 1,000 backpacks stuffed with supplies to kids in need this year, to the amazing work they do for the families they sponsor through Kenzi's Kidz, they have expanded the organization to be a lifeline for so many in need in our community.

Kenzi's Causes continues to grow and make an impact on the children in Colorado through the various programs. The Packz4Kidz program is growing each year and helps children be prepared for school while helping the families as this can be a time that adds extra expense to a family's budget. All of the programs help to create a sense of equality for the children and at the same time help to relieve some of the financial pressures the families face during certain times of the year.

I have witnessed the children and families receiving toys and support at our toy shop. It is so rewarding to see so many families served and give thanks to us. I have volunteered and donated for 7 years because I get to see the impact we can have on families in need and how it brings them joy. I joined the board to help this organization grow and prosper to serve more families throughout Denver and beyond.

Kenzi’s Causes is an amazing organization that continues to give back to Colorado’s under served community. In addition to their Backpack and Toy Shop giveaways, they serve their families with many services including entertainment activities and education assistance. I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this organization.

I have had the privilege of working as an intern for Kenzi's Causes. Jessica and Julie are very knowledgable and passionate about the organizations mission. I have been able to see all aspects of running a successful nonprofit. I have also been able to see first hand the impact that they have made on the children's and families lives that they work with.

This is an incredible organization that provides extremely valuable benefits to kids in Colorado. Jessica, the founder has truly found a way to turn every parent's worst nightmare into something she and her family can be proud of. Kids who otherwise wouldn't have a new backpack for school or Christmas gifts under the tree benefit from Dolls for Daughters...and that's only the beginning.

A wonderful organization that gives thousands of kids Christmas every year. I have volunteered at the Toy Shop and bowling event and had great experiences both times.

I am a single mother of four awesome kids. Times are hard for everyone and in some cases getting worse. My family has been truely blessed to have recieved the love and generosity of this organization. Dolls For Daughters And Kenzis Kids is an all around family helping group. There is yet to be a need or desire that my family has asked or wished for, which has not been fulfilled. I thank you all for the fun you have provided with birthday parties, a family zoo membership, water world passes, shoes, clothing, dressers and the smiles you have brought my children! Helping with the Toy Shop in December was one of the most amazing experiences! I have never seen so many smiles, received that many hugs and heard so much appreciation! Volunteering at this event brought many happy tears to my eyes! =)

Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys is a great non-profit and and great cuase for giving! They really put so much work into the events to be able to really give back to the families and the community -They have proven to be a sucess over and over again!

I got to know about Dolls for Daughters at the first Tea Party they had. My daughter and I went, we were to bring a doll for donation. I thought what a neat idea! It was there that I had a chance to sit and talk with Jessica, the founder and president.
Her story touched me deeply and I thought how brave this young women was to start such a great charity. She could of chose to sit at home and feel sorry for herself and family with the loss of Kenzi but she didn't. She made something positive of her devastating situation.
I found myself volunteering as much as I could and I have seen what Dolls For Daughters and Kenzi's Kidz has done for surrounding children who aren't as forturnate. I will continue to support them as long as I can!

I have been a supporter of Dolls for Daughters since its inception - not just because Jessica, the founder, is a friend of mine, but simply because Dolls for Daughters provides deserving children in the Denver area a reason to smile at the holidays. I've also been able to volunteer with the organization in the past, and to see the toys being distributed - how touched the mothers are and how excited the children are - is such an amazing and rewarding experience.

I became involved with Dolls for Daughters three years ago when I started working for the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Our members were gearing up to collect toys for the Dolls for Daughters program during the holiday season.

I have seen the difference Dolls for Daughters and Kenzi Kidz have made. It's about the smiles. It's about the laughter. It's about the helping families in-need.

I am honored to be on the board for Dolls for Daughters. I have known Jessica for several years and have seen this organization grow into something amazing. I am just joining the board, but have been following the amazing things that have been happening with Dolls for Daughters and Kenzi's Kids. I look forward to great things to come and encourage everyone to consider supporting this great organization.

I have attended a silent auction benefiting Dolls for Daughters and I am extremely pleased with the efforts of this homegrown foundation. The event was lively and I felt moved by the sincere passion of the founder and the generosity of the supporters. Having children of my own, I know how one special toy can touch a child's heart...especially when it may be their only toy. Thank you Dolls for Daughters for bringing simple joy to children.

I have been involved with Dolls for Daughters for about the past year. After attending some of the events I started working as the volunteer coordinator last year in October and immediately fell in love with the organization and it's mission! Seeing the success of the toy drive and seeing the smiles on the faces of the children and families touched my heart deeply! I am now volunteering on the Board as the Secretary. I look forward to many years with Dolls for Daughters.

I became involved with Dolls for Daughters and Kenzis Kids several years ago after meeting Jess Bachus and hearing her story. I was so touched by the way she was able to have the courage to transform a tragedy into a very generous way of honoring her daughter and giving back. I've had the great pleasure of learning about Dolls for Daughters over the past almost four (4) years. Over time, I've come to understand the love and generosity that led to the creation of the organization, and to witness the passion with which the organization is run. As a group, those individuals associated with Dolls for Daughters are amazing individuals, one and all. They are committed to making children smile that might not otherwise smile as often or with such unrestrained exuberance and utter excitement. Its been a privilege and a joy to watch the organization grow and to know that in doing so, more and more children will be on the receiving end of the love and generosity that is Dolls for Daughters.

I first heard about Dolls for Daughters the Christmas Season in 2007. When I heard about Jessica's story my heart was truly touched. After participating in the events for Dolls for Daughters, such as their Bowl-a-Thon and Dolly Tea Party I was asked to join the board for the 2010 year. Dolls for Daughters is very close to my heart. This past season we gave away over 4,000 toys to underprivileged children. Watching those kids get to pick out a gift that they weren't going to get otherwise without our organization touched my heart. Nothing could replace those smiles I saw that day.

I have had the opportunity to witness the many ways that this organization is working to touch the lives of so many children in our community during the Holiday Season and throughout the year. The year round dedication and giving of time and resources that is so evident with all of the members and volunteers, this is such an inspiration to those who are exposed I believe this is the reason that the volunteer base is so strong for a relatively young Charitable Organization!

Dolls For Daughters and Kenzi's Kids are awesome charities operated by a group of young, energetic, compassionate folks. They work year round raising money and accumulating dolls and toys for less fortunate children and families.

I have been associated with Dolls for Daughters and Kenzi's Kidz since its inception in 2007. I currently serve as the Vice President & Treasurer on the Board. In just a few short years the organization has grown and in 2010 we gave away over 4,500 toys to children in our community. I am very passionate about Dolls for Daughters because we serve our LOCAL community and we help so many children in need! Seeing the smiles on the faces of the underprivileged children we serve is heartwarming and brings me to tears.
