Kenosha human development services, inc. Is a community resource and partner working in cooperation with social, health, and family service branches of county, state, and the federal government.
Programs: Community support programthe community support program provides a network of coordinated care and treatment services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in the community. Program goals include enhancing consumer's quality of life in the community, reducing the intensity of symptoms associated with severe and persistent mental illness, decreasing the incidence of acute and longer-term inpatient care, and promoting the transformation of the mental health service delivery system. Csp uses a person-centered approach building upon individual strengths essential for quality community living.
adult emergency servicesadult crisis is a mobile unit that offers 24-hours a day, 7-days a week availability of experienced mental health professionals for face-to-face interventions and/or phone counceling in crisis situations. The majority of these cases involve persons struggling with mental health issues, such as depression, suicidal feelings, chronic mental illnesses, family disturbances, victims of felony crime, or drug and alcohol abuse problems.
kenosha adult residential emergency centerthe kare center is a licensed 11-bed community-based residential facility. It provides a safe, supportive and homelike setting for persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities and aoda issues. The mission of the center is to provide the most appropriate and least restrictive service available. At the time of admission, individuals will be assessed and if supportive or aftercare services are required, referrals wil be made before discharge.
