Causes: Neighborhood & Block Associations
Mission: The mission of the kennedy heights community center is to create a community support network for low to moderate income families; increase available resources and programs to improve the lives of residents; and develop and present social, educational, recreational, and cultural programs for children, youth, and adults.
Programs: Kennedy heights neighborhood association provides high quality, positive youth development programs for adolescent middle and high school age youth that support connectedness to school, family, and community. These programs support accademic success, sevice to the community, and leadership experienence, and provide the skills for life-long healthy decision making.
kennedy heights neighborhood association's children's programs provide high quality child care and early childhood education for childrem from age 3 through elementary school. The association provides licensed and accredited care that supports school deadiness, social-emotional learning, and life-long positive outcomes for children.
kennedy heights neighborhood association's adult programming provides skill building and employment training opportunities. These programs assist vulnerable community members to access community resources and help build social capital and neighborhood leadership skills.
