Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: To create LIVE, WORK, and ENGAGE opportunities for adults with disabilities.
Results: We began PLAY in 2017 with 130 participants and a large calendar of community experiences that range from attending a show at a community theater, going to a sporting event, or dining out. These small group opportunities are integrated, in the community, and designed by adults with disabilities for adults with disabilities to be fulfilling, safe, and fun. We now have two WORK opportunities underway, database management and aquaponics, and by 2021, we plan to open LIVE, our innovative and affordable neurodiverse community living campus.
