Biking is Life! I've been on bike trails since I was an infant in a trailer behind my dad's bike. Life changed a year ago due to a spinal cord injury sustained in a mountain biking accident. I'm now a quadriplegic. While in rehab, I participated in an adaptive cycling program and realized that I can cycle again! Adaptive equipment is quite expensive, so I was so glad to find out about Kelly Brush Foundation grant opportunities.
The Kelly Brush Foundation was very generous and will help me reach my goal to get back on the trail (tri)cycling this year.

Causes: Sports
Mission: To help people with spinal cord injuries be active and improve safety in the sport
Programs: 1 - we awarded 194 grants of adaptive sports equipment to help people with spinal cord injuries enjoy their favorite sports. 2 - we awarded grants to 19 ski club organizations to purchase safety equipment, including net fencing and other upgrades to promote ski safety. 3 - we advocated for ski racing safety through our advocacy programs.
