Mission: Keep cincinnati beautiful is an award-winning not for profit organization educating and encouraging individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community environments.
Programs: Litter prevention & community revitalization:keep cincinnati beautiful has an arsenal of litter prevention programs and initiatives that utilize public and private partnerships to change behavior and build a thriving city. We also have an entire environmental education program that reaches over 20,000 young minds each year allowing us to cultivate a passion for keeping cincinnati clean. By improving our streets, parks, business districts, and community gateways through cleanups, education, surveillance, and enforcement, we are changing the lanscape and sending a message that it is no longer acceptable to litter in cincinnati. behavior change is at the core of keep cincinnati beautiful's mission. We believe that if we want to see sustainable behavior change in cincinnati, we need to start by educating young children. Kcb provides free environmental education to cincinnati public, private, and parochial schools. Through service learning, classroom presentations, assemblies, and field trips, we are growing green habits in over 20,000 students each year. Kcb also participates in a number of community meetings, workshops, presentations and events throughout the year to promote our message of anti-littering, recycling, community pride and sustainability.
