My family has been involved with KCIS from the get go. I was a child and my parents dedicated their 50th, 60th and now 70th birthdays to KCIS. Our belief in what they do and how amazingly they do it is unshakable. KCIS has grown organically to a thriving nonproft benefitting thousands of students.

I have been a friend of Jila kashef and saw her create this organization from 20 years ago. Today it has grown into a tree with many fruits for so many students. I am so proud to support KCIS for over 20 years.

Been involved with KCIS for over a decade. Their meaningful work to support children’s education has helped thousand of children stay in school and better their lives. KCIS has an amazing leadership team. They always have new projects in the works to further their charitable purpose, they communicate well with donors and supports and host the best events.

As longtime donors to KCIS, I have been continually impressed by the organization's dedication to educating underserved children. Our children grew up volunteering with KCIS, and we've seen the profound impact of their programs firsthand. My introduction to KCIS came in 2003 at a presentation by Jila Kashef at UCI. The message resonated so profoundly with me that I immediately began contributing to KCIS as a volunteer advisor, a role I have continued for the past 20 years. I am a board member and have been an active volunteer at KCIS for over twelve years. To put it simply, KCIS saved my life. Twelve years ago, my husband passed away from very aggressive pancreatic cancer. Meeting the founder, Jila Kashef, learning about KCIS's mission, and actively diving into the cause significantly accelerated my healing process. To be part of such a wonderful team, and be able to turn grief into something beautiful is one of the greatest gifts of my life. KCIS draws in the smartest, kindest, most talented members of the Persian community in Los Angeles. Everyone involved is so passionate and so dedicated to the children and carrying out Jila Kashef's mission. Here's to many more years of being a board member and changing the lives of very deserving children in Iran.

I've been volunteering with KCIS regularly for the past ten years. The dedication and passion of everyone involved in this organization—from board members to volunteers—is exceptional. I am a donor, supporter and a volunteer for Kcis more than ten years now. I have witnessed the Kcis team give their time, expertise, care and love to turn lives around by adapting to the 21st century. The results have been greater than we could have imagined. Not only have we increased literacy in demographics that would not have access to education—we have also had the unexpected pleasure of educating their entire communities.

I have been a volunteer at KCIS for 10 years now. Their goal is simple - provide education to end the cycle of poverty. KCIS has ended the cycle of poverty for thousands of students and their families. The board and the rest of the volunteers are passionate and dedicated to the cause. I am proud to be a volunteer and continue to do so year after year. For the past 4 years I have also sponsored a student's education since she was in middle school.
