Mission: Katlyn's Dream is a non-profit dedicated to providing children and families with necessities like food, clothing, gift cards for gas, cleaning supplies, etc. There are also necessities that are critical to the emotional well-being of these children and their families like Holiday Cheer in the form of goodies in a stocking or box, birthday parties in boxes, Ipads for kids who spend long periods of time in the hospital or inside because of their conditions.
Results: To Date Katlyn's Dream has ensured that 150 children and their siblings did not miss out on Halloween, Christmas or Easter. We have provided food and clothing to multiple single parent families who have no income due to having to care for a sick child 24/7, paid for glasses, assisted with costs to transport child that past away home to Guam for burial, and sponsored 100 families ( $175/family) for a weeks stay at Ronald McDonald House.
As of August of 2018 we have also started a Pediatric ICU care-kit program to provide a toiletry bag with toiletries and various essentials to the parent who has a child admitted to the Pediatric ICU at Summerlin Hospital.
Target demographics: Children with life-threatening, long-term illnesses and their families
Direct beneficiaries per year: 150 children, 2 Ronald McDonald Houses, 1 hospital
Geographic areas served: all over the country
Programs: financial assistance, food, clothing, glasses, holiday and birthday celebrations
Katlyn's Dream is an amazing organization. When my family needed help, they were right there to assist while my daughter received hospital care. I have always had a soft spot for nonprofits that help ill children and their families. Some individuals will never understand how quickly and unexpectedly your life shifts and changes. I love and support everything that Katlyn's Dream represents.

Katlyn's dream is a very special nonprofit organization created by an even more special young lady, Katlyn Oaks. Katlyn has been able to support many families because of her unending love and compassion for those going through similar life altering medical conditions. She has an aggressive disease but it isn't able to stop her from achieving her dreams by raising funds to help bring smiles to those in need.
