I've been watching KEA come into being and am confident that they'll be a force in East Africa that helps re-shape the environment there while giving people a better future through education. I watch their Facebook and keep an eye on their website to find out the new and exciting things they're doing. It gives me hope that we can work together and change the direction of the world in positive ways.
When I was invited to become an Advisory Board member for KEA, I was delighted. I had been following their progress as they built their dream and their business plan. The combination of preserving the environment through education appealed to two of my major passions. Add to that their commitment to hiring locals in their endeavors, thus helping the E. African poor pull themselves out of poverty--I was sold. KEA is led by a group of intelligent, caring , knowledgeable people, dedicated to making a huge difference for the E. African and world's environment and bringing hope and a sustainable life to the families of the region. It's a group well worth supporting.
