My daughter was an 18 year old high school senior at Berea-Midpark. All of her life she aspired to work in the medical profession. She was accepted into the honors nursing program at KSU and had also applied at CWRU. On February 11, 2016 Kaity was diagnosed with leukemia. Due to side effects of the chemo, she passed away from a lung infection on April 11, 2016. She was one of my three children, my only daughter, and a huge part of my life. I have created this scholarship in her memory and we award two scholarships annually to a senior in the Berea-Midpark marching band.
