K9s United helped supply much needed supplies for our K9s. We couldn't be more thankful! We were donated training supplies and field equipment, and the process was simple and fast. Our handlers have also attended seminars which included invaluable training at no cost. You can tell this organization truly cares about helping working dogs where it matters. Thanks for all the help - Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission K9 Training Staff
K9’s United does exceptional work throughout the country to enhance K9 programs and protect officers and the communities they serve. In a recent seminar that our unit attended, the trainers and staff provided great training for beginners and advanced handlers alike. The staff and trainers were professional and great to interact with each day. We are deeply appreciative of their time and expertise.

Thank you to K9s United and its amazing expert staff, my unit and I learned so much vital information. From adjusting my collar placement, using the proper pinch equipment, understanding obedience vs. control, limiting verbal communication with the K9 during searches, having a line of demarcation, to getting the K9 “use to doing nothing”. Thank you for making this training possible and accessible to any K9 handler/ trainer.

The Ocala Police Department recently expanded, adding two more K9 teams to the division. With the quickly growing unit, funding for ballistic vests were getting tight. Jeremie Nix with K9s United graciously offered their support and provided brand new K9 Storm vests for four of our six K9 teams. The pictures attached show K9 Marshal rocking his new vest. Thank you to Jeremie and K9s United for their love and support!
K9s United generously equipped our new K9 squad with a new kennel for our K9, Bosco. The donation of this essential piece of equipment will ensure the comfort and safety of Bosco so he can focus on his difficult job. As an agency, we can now allocate those funds toward other essential equipment and needs and for that we are also thankful. We are incredibly blessed to have an organization like K9s United to support of our agency and the entire K9 community. Thank you all so much and blessings to all K9 teams!
Sgt Lehmkuhl, K9 Bosco, and the entire Waite Park Police Department (MN)
Thank you K9s United for graciously donating an American Aluminum K9 insert, including the cost of installation, to the Fernandina Beach Police Department's newly formed K9 unit! Officer Tina Smith and K9 Hanna are so happy that Hanna has a secure place to ride and a heat alarm system to keep her safe. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! K9s United is an amazing organization providing training and equipment to law enforcement agencies to support K9 officers and their handlers. Without your organization many law enforcement agencies would be unable to acquire the proper training and equipment to keep their K9s safe due to budgetary restraints. Thank you for everything you do to support K9 officers and their handlers!
I had an amazing experience attending the K9’s United seminar in New Mexico! The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in their training methods. They were also very approachable and took the time to answer all my questions about the sessions they conducted. Thank you, K9’s United.
K9s United generously provided protective vests from K9 Storm for our entire unit, making a significant impact on the safety of our 8 patrol dogs. Their donation not only enhanced our team's safety, but also created a substantial cost savings, allowing us to allocate those funds toward additional essential equipment. We are incredibly grateful for K9s United’s ongoing support of the K9 community!
Sgt Nix and all the teams from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Course was an overall great course. Instructors were extremely knowledgeable and assisted with all questions. Was able to take some very important knowledge away with me into the field.
Attended the K9's United seminar in New Mexico and had a blast. All the instructors were knowledgeable and experienced in training. They were also very approachable and answered all my questions about the trainings they were conducting. Thank you K9's United cant wait to attend the next seminar!
This K9s United Seminar was fantastic. The trainers are highly skilled and very knowledgeable in their respective fields. The training touched on all the primary fundamentals (detection, tracking, patrol, and safety tactics) needed for a well rounded K9 training program. I promise you will walk away with more advanced knowledge than you walked in with. Highly recommend!
So grateful for being able to attend this course. The entire K9’s united team are absolutely amazing, the instructors were very approachable to every question and were more than available to spend one on one time with not only myself but multiple teams. I was taught so much and have many more tools in my bag to build our team up to be the best we can possibly be. Thankyou K9’s United.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have attended the K9s United seminar in New Mexico. The instructors were amazing and all gave individual attention. I am glad that I have additional tools to use with my K9 to be a successful team. I would recommend this course to anyone who is new to the K9 world or to a veteran K9 handler who wants to refine his skills.
K9s United held a great seminar with Instructors that provided great feedback and an AMAZING training experience involving K9s. Each Instructor had brought something different from their own experiences to help problem solve issues involving K9 handling and their training. The Instructors were well versed in their respective fields and were humble as they listened to ideas brought up by participants in the seminar. Not only was the seminar a great training experience it gave other Departments involved in the seminar to connect with one another in the surrounding areas to allow an expansion of training experience and views. I would recommend attending a training seminar hosted by K9s United.
Thank you K9s United for your gracious donation to the Edgewater Police Department K-9 Unit (Florida). The members of the unit and the agency could not thank you enough for your amazing donation of equipment to our unit. Your donation will assist in next level training due to providing us some of the best equipment available. This equipment will facilitate safety for our teams along with helping us create the best training scenarios and maintenance possible. K9 teams must be the most skilled and prepared when they are called upon to get the job done and being able to facilitate preparedness is indispensable. K9s United goes above and beyond to help provide the best training and equipment for K-9 Units all over. Thanks to everyone at K9s United for helping make a difference in the K9 community.
Sincerely,
Chas, Samuel, Daniel, and Kevin
Thank you K9s United for your donation to our Sanford Police Department K-9 Unit. Your donation supports our K-9 Unit by providing them additional equipment and tools used for training. Proper training is vital in ensuring our K-9 Handlers and partners are able to serve our community in the safest way possible.
K-9s United is an incredible organization that has gone above and beyond to support our local K-9 Units. Recently, they donated several items including e collars, a bite suit, and Ruffland Kennels to the Hendry County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit in Florida. This is on top of providing our members with high quality training at no cost earlier this year.
Their entire team is fantastic and extremely easy to work with. We are so thankful for their support!
I can't thank K9's United enough for their recent donation to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit. Like everyone in law enforcement, budgets are tight for us too. K9's United graciously donated bite sleeves, tracking harnesses, training collars, and portable kennels for handlers to use during inclement weather. Our unit will use this equipment to further our capabilities in order to continue protecting the citizens of this great community. Thank you very much!
My partner was killed while apprehending a wanted subject. K9’s united sent his incredible photo and I can’t thank them enough. What an incredible representation of him and thank you to the ones behind this project!
K9s United and members of our community were able to come together as a team and assist my agency with outfitting my canine partner, Apollo, with a K9 Storm ballistic vest. Apollo was been deployed many times before with no protection, but now thanks to donors and K9s United, my buddy has the same level of protection I have at work, increasing the likelihood of a positive outcome in a critical incident. Thank you K9s United!!!
"K9's United has truly gone above and beyond for our K-9 Unit at the Clay County Sheriff's Office, and we cannot express our gratitude enough. Their generous donation of some of the most up to date equipment has significantly enhanced the capabilities of our team and directly contributed to our ability to serve and protect our community more effectively.
The support and dedication shown by K9's United to law enforcement and the K9 community as a whole are unparalleled. Their commitment to ensuring that K9 units have the necessary equipment and training to carry out their duties safely and efficiently is invaluable. We are deeply appreciative of their generosity and their unwavering support for our four-legged officers.
Thanks to K9's United, our K9 Unit is better equipped to handle the challenges we face in the line of duty, and we are better prepared to keep our community safe. We are truly grateful for their organization, their support, and all the good they do for the K9 community. Their impact reaches far beyond the training and equipment they provide; it is felt in every successful operation and every life saved. Thank you, K9's United, for your continued support and dedication to our K9 partners and handlers."

Huge shoutout to Debbie and the K9s United crew for their generous donation of a tracking harness to Detective/K9 Riggs! Riggs is currently being trained in tracking and this equipment will play a vital role in his new endeavor. We are very thankful to those who partner with and donate to this organization. K9s United is an excellent resource for handlers and they truly live up to their mission of supporting law enforcement K9s.
I cannot even begin to thank K9s United for everything they have done for our Agency. Four of our patrol handlers have attended their free training seminars and have benefited greatly from the connections we have made, and the information that we have learned. Thanks to K9s United first aid training course, and their dedication to helping pass State Bill 388; we are now implementing getting all of our K9s first aid trauma kits (In addition to the ones they provided to our handlers who attended their course free of charge). We are also implementing policies to have our local Fire Rescue develop protocols and procedures to transport an injured K9.
As if everything above wasn't enough. They also assisted us with purchasing a large amount of equipment that we were not able to purchase due to budget concerns. We can't thank K9s United enough for everything that they do for the K9 Community, and what they have done for our Agency.
-Sergeant Jake Curby
Indian River County Sheriff's Office
K9s United helped out our small agency with a piece of safety equipment for our new K9 program. Support like this is very helpful and much appreciated!
K9 Debwe

Attended K9s United seminar at Valencia College the week of 3/25/24.
Phenomenal instructors and knowledge over all aspects of training. Instruction stations were great, provided good training opportunities to watch and learn and go hands on for practical application. The opportunity to train with agencies from all over the state and gain contacts for the future. Learning different training techniques and methods to progress our K9 program. Will be attending future K9s united seminars to continue learning and gaining experience.
K-9s United put on a 4-day seminar hosted by the Orange County Sheriff's Office March 25-28, 2024. This seminar was hands down one of the best training opportunities I have had the privilege to be a part of in my career. From Trauma and Casualty Care for K-9s, tracking, bitework, building search tactics, etc. The talent of the trainers they brought was clearly evidenced by the results. They provided good food everyday for lunch, hosted a catered dinner one of the nights, and all of this came at no cost to the attendees, which included over 50 dog teams from all over the state of Florida. This organization truly cares about the K-9 teams and only wants to help make us better and safer at what we do.
K-9 Handler with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. My K-9 is trained in Tracking, Detection, and Area Search. Learned a lot in the in the tracking and detection classes.
Being a road Medic for 19 years and recently getting into K9 training, I recently attended the K9 first aid/trauma seminar in west Palm Beach hosted by K9 United and instructed by Brady @Dustoff_K9. This was one of the best learning experiences I’v had in a long time. Brady made learning fun and encouraged interaction, definitely not a death by power point type of class. I would definitely attended more seminars taught by him given the chance. Thank you K9United for hosting this great event. I can’t wait to attend more events put on by your great organization.
Attended the two-day K9 trauma/first aid seminar and can't say enough about the quality of the training I received. I have attended similar training in the past, but the quality of the instruction far surpassed anything I have received to date. The level of knowledge and experience of the instructor was immediately evident, and I learned techniques that I have never been shown in 10 years of being a canine handler in a large agency. The hands-on scenario-based training utilizing the robotic training aids also provided a level of realism that could never be duplicated by a lecture and PowerPoint presentation. The fact that each student also leaves with a fully outfitted K9 trauma kit (at no cost) was an unexpected surprise and was greatly appreciated. K9s United is an outstanding organization that provides much-needed no-cost training to K9 teams across the nation and will be a legitimate difference maker in this field well into the future. Thank you!
K9s United is an amazing organization providing much needed training and support to the Law Enforcement K9 community. I had the honor and pleasure to attend one of their week long K9 training conferences and I was very impressed. The week started with a K9 Medic course by Brady Smith that taught me more about canine first aid and what to have in my K9 First Aid kit than any other K9 Medic course I have ever had. The rest of the week I rotated through courses on tracking/detection, bite work and tactics. The courses were instructed by world class K9 Trainers (Mike Nezbeth, Carlos Ramirez, Mike Lilly, along with new comers Drew and Josh from Canada). The knowledge transfer was tremendous. I had so many good takeaways from the week, but one thing that stood out the most was that everyone one from K9s United, from staff to instructors, cared so much about helping handlers advance that even though it was a large group training event everyone got in-depth individualized attention. This was hands down one of the best K9 Training events I have attended in my 20+ years in K9. I highly recommend K9s United!
Thank you Debbie Johnson, Jay Nix, and Robert Ramos for putting on such a great event!
This was an unbelievable 4 day course. It is not often you get this many great K9 trainers and minds in the same space. I highly recommend this course for any and all K9 handlers. We took so many valuable lessons back to our agency. Thank you again.
K9s United is an amazing organization with all that they do and provide. I recently attended their seminar in Lee county, FL where top trainers in the K9 world tested not only my dogs abilities but my own as a K9 handler. I highly recommend attending as a working spot or audit spot. The knowledge you'll gain is unmatched!
I had the honor and privilege to go to work with my best buddy and partner K9 Sasha all thanks to this beautiful organization.
K9 Sasha was a rockstar and one of the best to ever do the job with many narcotics and money seizures, apprehending many suspects and saving multiple lives.
K9 Sasha past away suddenly and unexpectedly.
My family and I miss her terribly. This heartfelt portrait will allow all that knew her to continue to remember her and always speak of her legend.
Thank you so very much K9s united for the opportunity you afforded me and our department. And thank you for this great tribute.
We will always support K9s United.
I attended the Tactical First Aid Class that Brady Smith instructed. I have to say that was the best first aid class I have ever attended. Brady and his staff were amazing and provided us with first aid kits that every patrol K9 team should deploy with. The wealth of knowledge was astounding, and I want to say thank you to K9's United for having free training, so that handlers can be better and go home safer after attending these classes.
This was my first K9s United seminar, and it was great. The amount of knowledge passed on to the K9 teams in attendance was outstanding. The instructors were top notch and provided the information in an easy way to learn and retain. I recommend these seminars to all K9 teams. I will for sure do more as they come back to FL.
First K9s United seminar and it was a great experience. Their trainers were a wealth of knowledge and I was appreciative of their advise on how to better my K9 partner and myself as a handler. Would definitely recommend to others to go to one of their seminars. Great job guys and thank you.
God Bless
This is my second K9's United seminar that I have attended and the training never gets old. I learn at least one new thing if not multiple new things from these events. The knowledge, experience, and professionalism that the instructors and staff bring to the table is by the best. As an organization they truly care about law enforcement, handlers, and their k9 partners. Dustoff K9 really gave a practical look on what to do if your K9 is injured in the field. Developing your skills to succeed in decoying will make your K9's better when having to deal with that suspect on the street. Tracking and using the most powerful nose in the world, will help you get to the end. Your dogs being obedient and going back to the basics will reflect on you as a K9 Team in front of your peers. Building clearing (real estate, what you lease and what you own) with a team can be crucial. Thank you K9's United.
K9s United is one of, if not the best organization when it comes to helping the LEO K9 community. They have an amazing group of trainers with a wealth of knowledge in every aspect of K9 training. They take the time and explain everything and not afraid to answer the “why” questions as they come up. Can’t wait to attend more seminars hosted by them
Recently attended the K9s united seminar in Lee county and it was absolutely epic. A wealth of knowledge across multiple different facets of dog work.
The instructors were patient and willing to pass on the information selflessly.
On behalf of the Daytona Beach Police Department K9 unit we thank the members of K9's United for their dedication and commitment to the K9 community. Our unit desperately needed equipment and K9 United was the first within the community to volunteer with donations of the equipment. K9's United provided all members (six total) with much needed harnesses and multiple leashes in various lengths. The equipment donations have already paid off with multiple apprehensions of violent suspects not only within the City of Daytona Beach but throughout Volusia County.
I greatly appreciate all that K9s United does for the LEO K9 community. They bring a wealth of knowledge to the training seminars that would never be shared if it wasn't for the community donors who help fund the programs. The instructors have an undeniable passion to help you and your K9 partner become a stronger team to serve your community. The hands on K9 Medic course was phenomenal! I feel better prepared to help my K9 partner should he ever suffer an injury on the street. Thank you!
Just wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude for the great K9 first aid class that was put on thanks to K9s United. It was an amazing class and I am very thankful for the med kits we all received! Thank you so much for all you guys do!
K9s United recently hosted a course for local agencies as well as EMS personal in regards to rendering aid to an injured K9. This class was great because the knowledge the instructors shared, hands on training, scenarios, and they even issued each K9 team a medical kit to carry on duty! Highly recommend to any K9 team or EMS personnel to take if it’s offered to you! It may save your K9s life one day or buy you enough time to get them to the help they need!
I chose to go to this event to better protect myself and my K9 partner. I have been an handler for approximately two years with a very active K9. This seminar was great both in the classroom and out with the hands-on scenarios. It was great to take what you just learned and apply it to different scenarios. Great Instructors, Great Event, and it was amazing meeting new people with a common goal.
4 years ago starting out as a new K9 handler is when I heard about K9s United. This was the start of the Fentanyl scare when it was just hitting the streets. K9s United provided me a Narcan kit for my dog just in case he came across it in the streets. Thankfully I didn’t need to use it, but it gave me a piece of mind knowing he would be fine if he came across it. Also this past week I was able to attend a seminar that was 100% free to me and my agency. I learned a lot and feel better prepared. Thank you K9s United.
Had an amazing experience with them! Alot of in depth knowledge for the career field, backgrounds, and training styles. I will definitely be looking forward to attending another seminar in the future!
I recently attended a K9s United seminar in Okaloosa County, FL. While many people would expect a mediocre experience when attending FREE training, this seminar brought in some of the most well respected and sought-after instructors in the K9 world. The entire theme of the event was to set ego aside and soak up as much information as possible from a variety of sources. The handlers also received a significant amount of free equipment, including K9-specific med kits and instruction on how to use them. This was excellent training!
Unbelievable training experience. K9's United seminar has been the most motivating and knowledgeable training that I've had in my 6 years as a K9 handler. The instructors and stories shared are truly captivating. Can't wait for them to host again in my area, I would recommend this training to anyone!
The experience that the K9's United team brings to the table is unparalleled. The trainers generously share their knowledge and help with anything they can. From junior K9 teams, to multi dog handlers and seasoned trainers, there is something they all can take away from the seminars. Debbie's passion for the field fuels a great team who's mission is simple, provide knowledge and support to all K9 Teams.
Recently attended a K9's United Canine Workshop and as a new handler it was a wonderful experience! The passion and knowledge Debbie and her team of trainers displayed was phenomenal. Their willingness to help and educate all of the attendees was outstanding. I certainly gained a lot of tools and insight to go forth and not only continue working with myself and my K9 partner but also with my agency as well! Can't wait to attend another! Thank you for all you do K9 United!
I cannot begin to express how much K9s United has meant to me as a handler and a member of the working dog community. The amount of knowledge that is available to you through their instructors is simply amazing. what makes this organization truly special however is the level of passion shown by each member. I have never been made to feel dumb or criticized for asking questions and in fact it is greatly encouraged. These people really do mean it when they say they are here to help.
This is an incredible nonprofit. They provided my team with much needed training and equipment we would not have had access to otherwise. A great group of people! Well organized, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.
This training and organization is nothing short of amazing. The instructors are world class and anyone and everyone that has an opportunity to attend a K9 United event needs to sign up!
K9's United Canine Workshop was an extraordinary experience! With expert trainers and captivating presentations, it provided invaluable insights into canine training and law enforcement techniques. The sessions enhanced my knowledge on patrolling, odor, and apprehension utilizing a K9. A must attend event if interested.
Just finished a 4 day seminar with the organization. Can't say thank you enough to the instructors and members of K-9's United. The instructors are the best in the industry and were more than willing to help train countless number of working K-9's. Walked away this week with more knowledge and will be coming back to another seminar in the future.
First would like to thank Debbie for creating an amazing foundation and everything it has to offer. And thank you for the team she has put together to educate and help out other teams across the country. I had an amazing week training and learning and look forward to future seminars they put on. A very special group of people in this foundation. Thank y’all so very much.
I wasn't sure what to expect for this training at the start of the week, but quickly realized the organization was honestly wanting to help better each K9 team anyway they can.
This is an absolutely outstanding crew. I’ve been to similar seminars who charged an arm and a leg for training of a lower quality than what K9 United puts on for free.
It is evident everyone on the team truly cares about spreading knowledge, learning, improving dog teams, and improving unit’s quality of life. To call the team knowledgeable would be a criminal understatement, they all have decades of knowledge they are begging to share.
There wasn’t a single ounce of judgement in this environment, nothing but good times and good jokes.
10/10 would recommend.
The breath of the talent this seminar brought was incredible. I loved how they pulled the best subject matter experts together for one seminar. It kind of sucked bc it was only one week given the amount of knowledge and experience that was there, but obviously, it’s not a school, it’s a seminar. I cannot speak highly enough of the the professionalism of this group. I’ve dealt with a lot of K9 nonprofits- this one is the real deal. They way the fix problems (in training as well as picking up the slack for so many LE administrators is incredible!). Ms Debby and her crew are so laser focused on one thing- saving lives. Ms. Debby is a bulldog and doesn’t quit! She’s the best thing to happen to K9 in decades. She and her crew are fighters, often at their own personal expense bc they are ALL passionate for a righteous cause. As my unit’s trainer with almost 20 years in K9, they not only helped me find my holes in my program, but left me with solutions and support after the seminar. It’s the real deal. Thank you!!!!
K9s United is the best K9 seminar in the country. Their devotion and dedication is unparalleled. Each instructor is a master of their class and each provide unique experiences and thoughts in order to better improve each K9 team. I have been to two conferences, and plan on attending more! - K9 Tucker
Such an amazing organization. The members are some of the most caring, inspirational, and thoughtful people I've ever met. I traveled across the county just to go to their seminar a second time. What they do for their community is above any I've ever seen. It's truly amazing. If you're looking for an origination to support, please consider them. They help so many people!
Previous Stories
K9s United provided an amazing seminar in our region recently (at no cost) and I can't say enough about how great it was. They shared so much knowledge and experience.
Most of all, these are great people. They're extremely knowledgeable and generous. They helped identify some issues with our gear and went above and beyond to donate some high end gear for us. It was more than we expected and we're so grateful for them. If you're considering attending or hosting them, please do. Your department, team, and partners will thank you for it.
I just attended the K9s United Seminar in Okaloosa County, FL, and man, what an amazing experience it was. From day 1, it was evident that all the instructors wanted to give us knowledge and make every K9 handler and K9 team a successful one. I didn't know what to expect from this week as I had just finished K9 handler school for my agency, but this whole week was beyond any anticipation I expected. The knowledge and information I gained from not only the different classes, but from the instructors themselves, was over the top. Between all members of K9s United as a team, they have so much knowledge to bring to everyone in attendance. They genuinely care that we gain that knowledge, learn through our mistakes, have the proper equipment at hand, and everything that goes along with not only having a successful K9/handler relationship, but also your agency K9 team. I only wish the seminar had lasted longer to retain more information and do more hands-on training. I hope to one day see everyone again and our team return to another K9s United seminar. Thank you to all instructors and all of K9s United for such an amazing week, giving us all so much support and always having our six!
This was an amazing seminar! The only complaint I had was I wish it could have been longer! All of the instructors and trainers were extremely knowledgeable in their respective areas. They were all also very professional. I felt welcomed, supported, and encouraged. It is obvious that K9s United and all of their representatives have a genuine desire to help better K9 teams. They care about our success and even more so our lives. If we get the chance, our team will definitely attend another seminar in the future and I encourage others to attend as well.
This organization provided top tier training for handlers and decoys (such as myself) to give our K9 teams greater chances at survival should things get crazy. The staff show the care deeply and genuinely. They are not afraid to tell it how it is to ensure everyone goes home at the end of the day.
The knowledge between all the instructors is incredible. As a new handler I am very thankful for the opportunity to learn from the best in the business. I truly appreciate the hard work that goes into these seminars by everyone involved. They truly care about the teams and help them as much as they possibly can.
I came to the seminar expecting to learn so much but I got way more than I anticipated. From the first minute of being there the passion and knowledge the team at K9'S United had was evident. They were incredibly patient, articulate, and were a wealth of knowledge. What stood out to me most was how they truly go above and beyond for everyone at the drop of the hat. Deb took time to speak with every handler and agency present to see what we needed even if we didn't ask she still made it a point to talk to us. The organization impacts so many agencies, handlers, and communities with their hard work and dedication and continues to ask what more they can do. I feel whole heartedly that I am a better handler who can communicate with my K9 partner more effectively to set him up for success. I cannot thank Deb, Jay, Rob, and all the Mike's on the team enough for what they have done for the K9 community. I will be attending a seminar again as soon as possible.
This was a great training. I took away a lot that is going to help me and my department in several ways.
Day one with the medical side was training I had never had before and it was an eye opener. Being giving a first aid kit and knowing how to set it up was what I needed. I feel way more comfortable providing first aid and treatment to my k9 and others.
Day 2 I was in the detection training. This is my only negative from the training. The trainer was too busy texting on phone and not watching the k9s and handler run. There was no feed back given during or after ur turn. No one knew what odors were out and after it was done the trainer was allowing handlers to pay / reward their k9 where odor was not there. I along with others were not pleased with this station nor trainer.
Day 3 I was with Michael Nezbeth and he worked my k9 and showed me things I will be able to use and correct and make me and my k9 better. Nezbeth gave feed back and showed he cared and made sure all questions were answered.
Day 4 - I was in Carlos Ramirez’s class. There my brain was packed full of different ways and views of how to do thing and so many why’s were answered. When Carlos worked my k9 he gave me feed back and when he was done he gave an overview and explained the importance of a good decoy and why.
Food was provided every day and it was delicious. Even though I didn’t win anything at raffle I took so much away from this training and will definitely try to attend more. I am at a smaller department but will do my part at supporting K9s United to help it grow and be able to help my department and others and have more trainings.
K9s United means so much to the K9 community. This organization not only provides equipment, but free training to K9 teams all over the country.
Recently, my two newest team members were able to attend a seminar. The knowledge they gained in 4 days was invaluable. I know that they gained confidence in themselves and their dogs at the training seminar.
The people of K9s United truly care about saving lives and advocating for Police Dogs. The K9 community is a better and safer place because of this organization.
I attended the K9s United workshop in Knoxville, Tn. Overall some of the best instruction coming from the most knowledgeable instructors in our industry. From the best practical first aid class I have been able to attend to hands on practical exercises that are truly structured to improve handler/k9 skills to make teams better and safer on the streets. All the staff/instructors are honest down to earth individuals that have real world practical knowledge of our industry. This organization not only is striving to better K9 teams across the country with the best equipment possible. Debbie is fighting day to day in the legislative world to get laws passed to protect our K9 teams.
I strive anyone who is interested to reach out and attend this world class training.
I had the opportunity to attend the Knoxville, TN seminar at the beginning of August. This was by far the best LE training/seminar I have attended in my career. The entire staff was 100% there for you and your K9 partner. Top notch instructors with tons of knowledge.
Attended a K9s United Seminar in Knoxville and it exceeded all my expectations. An incredible group of instructors with a ton of knowledge. I will attend another soon.
Excellent training and instructors are the reason K-9s United is a top-notch organization. The wealth of knowledge the instructors provide would be out of reach financially for many agencies. Thanks to K9s United, it is all available for free. There is no doubt that they are saving the lives of officers and K9s with every seminar.
Rob Ramos was incredibly helpful and professional along with understanding of delays out of my control. I could not be more happy with the process and product to keep my K9 partner safe! Thank you K9s United and all the amazing donors that made this possible
Tyson and I had the incredible opportunity last week to attend the K9s United seminar in Knoxville. From an immersive first aid class complete with an electronic dog mannequin with Brady, to asking our dogs to be better at tracking with Mike Lilley, to building searches with Jay and Mike Swirchak, to bite work scenarios with Mike Nezbeth and Carlos Ramirez. Debbie, Jay, and the entire K9’s United team put on an incredible four jam-packed days of learning that I feel so fortunate to have been able to be a part of. This is something that I would highly encourage any handler to attend! You will come out better for it.
Thank you Debbie and K9s United for the most amazing portrait! It is a honor to have received such a wonderful gift and I couldn’t have asked for more.
On June 30th, 2022 my partner, K9 Drago, was killed in the line of duty in Allen, Kentucky. Drago was a legend in the community, and his memory will forever be cherished thanks to you and the wonderful people at K9s United.
K9s United has been a pivotal role throughout my career in K9. Without this organization, I would not have crucial training or equipment necessary to safely perform my daily duties at work. K9s United has not only provided free training, that otherwise would have been denied due to budget constraints, but has also given me top of the line equipment to keep my K9 partner safe.
We are beyond grateful to K9s United for helping us equip a new vehicle with critical safety systems for K9 Dina. K9s United provided us with a high-quality K9 kennel/prisoner transport insert, as well as the heat alarm, door popper, and temperature control systems - all at no cost to our small law enforcement agency.
The team at K9s United has been wonderful to work with; they are responsive and knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to get us the vehicle safety systems that best suited our agency's needs. We are truly appreciative!
I recently received a modern icon harness through a K9’s United raffle. The harness is great and high quality. This is a great organization staying true to its mission and goals. Great people and great organization.
On 02/13/2023, my dual purpose dog K9 Graffit was shot and killed in Jefferson County Colorado. He tracked an armed suspect down an embankment to where he was waiting with a gun. K9 Graffit saved lives that day and his sacrifice will never go forgotten.
K9 Graffit and I participated in K9 United training seminars and they were nothing but the best. To have K9 United reach out to me after the incident and present me with such a heartwarming portrait means the world to me. This is a gift I will cherish forever. Many thanks to Deborah and everyone else associated to K9 United. What an amazing organization!
Thanks!
Zach Oliver
Thank you Debbie ! We are very honored and grateful to receive such a beautiful portrait. Ciro was my third K9 in 18 yrs and was by far the most in tune partner. He was tragically killed when our patrol unit caught fire on March 3, 2022. This Portrait will hang on our office wall for all to honor.
Thank you again !
Sgt. Shaun Gary
Humphreys County Tennessee
Recently, three of our K9 Teams from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (FL) received a generous donation from K9s United. K9s United donated three Modern Icon patrol tracking harnesses to aid these teams with doing their jobs daily. If not for the selfless acts of K9s United, it’s founder Debbie Johnson, and her fantastic board members, several K9 Units and teams across the nation would go without the necessary equipment and training that their agencies may be unable to afford. On behalf of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit, we want to send a big thank you to K9s United for all that you have done and continue to do to help the law enforcement K9 and Military Working Dog (MWD) programs across the country.
Debbie, thank you for reaching out and providing me with this amazing portrait of my Service K9 Mina. She was a great canine that tragically passed due to a rattlesnake bite while on duty. I truly appreciate and support everything that K9's United is doing for K9 teams across the country.
Debbie, thank you for all your organization does. The portrait of K9 "Bale" is phenomenal! Choked me up a little of the happy memories the portrait brought back to me. My deepest thank you!
Most amazing organization along with the amazing people that run this organization. Truly a one of a kind non-profit that brings real positive change for the purpose they serve and its community. Thank you Debbie Johnson and all of its staff for everything that you guys do!
What an incredible organization run by an amazing group of people. Debbie has to be one of the most generous people I’ve ever met. Over my career handling a dog I’ve been to several training events, none of which were near this quality and all of them cost a significant amount of money. K9s United provided the best K9 training I’ve ever been a part of at no cost. I can’t say enough great things about this group.
K9s United provided world class training at no cost to any attendee. This training would usually cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. For them to travel to the other side of the country, provide top tier training, and not request a single dollar is unheard of in todays world. I can’t say enough amazing things about Debbie and the K9s United family.
K9's United is an amazing group of people doing even more amazing things for K9s and their handlers. I have been a part of many different sides of K9's united, and so far, everything I have witnessed is truly awesome. From the trainings, to the competitions, to the fallen K9 portraits. Mrs. Debbie is an amazing person and truly strives to make the world a better place for K9's and their handlers.
Thank You for the awesome tactical K9 med training provide for our entire FHP CIU Unit and surrounding area K9 handlers, during our conference. Hands on, with experienced instructors. Thanks for all you do and supporting our K9 mission.
K9s United is a wonderful organization that stays true to its mission to assist K9 units. This is a group of dedicated people who strive to help make the K9s, their handlers, and communities a safer place. They have personally helped out unit with much needed equipment and training that has had a huge impact on our day to day operations. Most recently they donated a new harness to replace an aging and ill fitting one for my partner. This was something that was not in the budget for our agency and has greatly improved my partner's safety.
K9’s United goes above and behind for handlers and their K9 partners. They provide top notch training, and equipment to meet the various needs of the industry. I have been fortunate enough to attend a few training seminars provided by K9’s United. The seminars are taught by some of the best instructors in the industry with the most up to date content. The members that serve for K9’s United are the most generous people I have ever met and go beyond measure to take care of the handlers and our partners. Highly recommend any relationship you can form with the board at K9’s United.
Best training you can have to help support your K9 partner. The instructors are top of the line and know their stuff. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone who is looking to improve their life saving skills for their fury partner.
The generosity and commitment to their cause at K9's United is unmatched by their amazing team. We were lucky enough to receive lifesaving equipment with the addition of the Ace K9 hot and pop system to our new K9 vehicle for Simon and I. They went above and beyond by also providing us with a the Acewatchdog system as well. We are beyond grateful for their help!
I was needing a new tracking harness for my new law enforcement K-9 and K-9’s United made it so easy. The process was simple and the product was awesome. The attached picture is of my K-9 happily wearing his tracking harness. I would definitely recommend them if you were needing help in acquiring a certain piece of equipment to do your job.
I learned about K9s United while in handler school. I reached out to them, in reference to getting equipment donated for my new k9 partner. I spoke to Robert Ramos of K9s United, who walked me through the process, and made sure I had everything I needed for my cruiser.
A few days later I received a call from K9s United, telling me all the equipment was approved for donation and shipped.
I received a complete kennel, door popper and heat alarm system.
i would like to say THANK YOU!!! to K9s United and all staff for the donation, it is greatly appreciated.
I learned about K-9's United through a coworker and how awesome the foundation was. I contacted K9s United in reference to needing some new equipment for my new K-9 Partner Luna. I quickly received an email back and was assisted with donation of a new large gunner k-9 crate. I am greatly appreciative and feel so honored to have been selected and assisted by K-9's United.
Thank you!
When I first was introduced to K9s United, it was through K9s of Valor. I was working to have some equipment donated for my unit due to it needing upgraded. K9s United immediately reached out and offered to donate a full K9 insert for my unit that allows a safer environment for my K9 and myself. Myself and my department could not be more thankful for their help and the donations that was gathered to help us as a team!!
I found this charity by running in their first ever 5k race. I learned alot about it and what they do and I was hooked. It is such an important organization and they have done wonderful things like helping implement new laws for our furry cops. Thank you K9s United!
I love K9's United. I participate in their races and I love their cause. Helping to protect and care for our 4 legged hero's is an amazing cause. These dogs deserve all the wonderful help and care they receive from K9's United and without them, these special K9's could not do all the amazing work they are doing. Thank You
A few years ago I found out how K9's United helps K9 Officers protect and serve us
I ran a 5k to help them in 2016.
This non profit helps our K9 Officers and our communities to keep us all safe by much needed equipment for the Dogs that protect and serve.
Great cause and company! We have a K9 dog and I appreciate this organization for all they support and stand for!
I love K9s United. I do their races to support this GREAT non profit. They do so much for the community of K9s and their handlers!
All K9s have a special place in my heart and
K9s United is one of the most needed nonprofit organizations today. I am so proud to support these extraordinary Heroes. I have watched these K9s and their handlers with awe and gratitude for their hard work, training and unconditional commitment to serve and protect our communities. Their willingness to serve and protect even to the ultimate sacrifice is so very honorable. Please support K9s United.
K9's United is by far one of the greatest things to happen to LE officers who are K9 handlers. Their training and first aid programs are 2nd to none and I was honored, as a Cadaver dog handler with a SAR team to be included in the first aid program that was sponsored by K9's United at the U of F. We, as well as LE, applaud your programs to help our guys and gals and K9's stay safe out there. GO k9's UNITED! You da team!
K9s United is doing so many great things for the K9 Law Enforcement community. One of the greatest programs they fund is training for the LEOs and EMS personnel to be able to effectively treat injured K9s. These trainings not only offer hands-on training opportunities that are second to none, but they are helping build better relationships between departments, so that everyone can work together effectively in the best interest of the injured K9 officers. Equipment is great, but everyone also needs to know how to use it properly; through this organization teams are receiving both the equipment they need and the training on how to use it. These amazing K9 officers are force multipliers who never hesitate to protect and serve, and K9s United is making incredible strides to help protect the ones who protect all of us. Thank you!
This photo is from my first K9 United 5K in Nacotee. It was an amazing morning meeting the officers and the K9s who demonstrated how important these K9s are along with their incredible training and handlers. I asked to have my picture taken with a k9 and handler, as they approached me the handler instructed me not to pet the k9, and I agreed. This incredibly beautiful K9 walked up to me sat down and leaned into me while looking up at me with his tongue hanging out! It was love at first sight! His handler laughed and said the k9 wasn’t suppose to do that! I was allowed to pet the k9! His name was Fang a K9 hero who was killed in the line of duty. I am so proud to support K9 United.
The emergency response to K9 Huk ( shot three times in the line of duty) this week Is a perfect example of what K9 United has accomplished. It saved this K9’s life.
I absolutely LOVE everything K9s United stands for and all they are doing to save the lives of our 4-legged Officers! I do all their "Runs" and also donated because I have and know several K9 Officers and their handlers! I am fixing to sign up to get their License plate and will be honored to have on my car. They have already change laws and saved lives so PLESE donate and help them continue to do just that!
I have followed K9s United for many years and have nothing but respect for the amazing work they are doing for K9s and K9 handlers. K9 officers are extremely effective and keep our communities safe and it is vital that they get the right equipment and training to keep them as safe as possible.
This is the most amazing organization. Debbie is literally In tears when she talks about the death of K9 Baron, which prompted her to start this nonprofit. She works tirelessly for these beautiful animals that risk their lives to help us all. This organization helps keep the K9s safe and helps protect them. Their handlers, all law enforcement, and the community cannot express how amazing they are. God Bless K9s United.
K9s United is an awesome nonprofit and 100% of proceeds goes toward the cause. Love K9s United! Also, for anyone reading this in Florida, make sure to get your custom license plate order in today. Don't wait!
K9s United sponsored a class I was fortunate to attend that taught K9 handlers how to provide emergency first aid for our K9 partners. The class was amazing! The instructors were very knowledgeable, they answered any questions we had, they had several scenarios for us that put what they taught us into action, and we each received a medical kit we can take on the field. Thank you so much for sponsoring this class and potentially saving the lives of our beloved partners!
I was fortunate enough to attend this class on 07/13/2022. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and obviously competent in their craft. The generosity of K9s United to put this class on, especially at the level at which it was hosted and presented, is unparalleled.
I am thankful that I was able to be apart of the K9 First Aid Seminar. What K9s United are doing to further educate on canine trauma response with local departments is amazing! Thank you for all that you do!
Being involved in the First Aid Seminar put on by K9's United was absolutely amazing. I loved to see our different County departments getting to work together all for the same goal. Having K9's in my family this is something that I hold near to my heart.
K9s United is doing great things to not only raise awareness for our K9s but also, providing valuable education and equipment for our K9s and their handlers. As a retired deputy sheriff from St. Johns County, FL, I watched as this non-profit formed and it gained tremendous support from the community after having just lost K9 Baron. K9s United now astoundingly reaches across this nation and clearly demonstrates the commitment to provide resources and services for our K9s and their handlers. Between providing training for direct care to the K9 units or pushing for legislation to honor and/or protect them, K9s United clearly shines in its professionalism and dedication to its mission.
I have organized events where our proceeds went to K9's United. Debbie Johnson the founder even came down to help with the events. I immediately saw how the funds positively impacted those in need. They are constantly giving to their cause instead of lining their own pockets like some other charities do. They truly care about their cause and continue to improve the K9 industry. This is by far the best non profit organization that I have ever seen. I am very thankful for everything they do and will continue to support them.
K9s United put together an excellent training with experts from across the country. I was fortunate to attend the entire week of training. They had excellent organization and the presenters were top notch. My only regret is that I was unable to be two places at once during the training sessions when they held break-out sessions for different disciplines. I hope that EVERY handler team gets the opportunity to meet this wonderful team and hopefully attend their training. Debbie has done a fantastic job building the organization, with what started as a simple way of wanting to give back. Thank you again!! -LCSO K9
K9s United is an incredible organization for the police community. We lost a K9 in the line of duty here in our community, and K9s United went above and beyond to community with the officer who lost his partner and ensure his K9 was memorialized and honored.
Thank you, K9s United, for all that you do!
I attended this training seminar in Denver as a supervisor, who is trying to start our K9 program after it has been gone for more than 20 years. I was welcomed in by the K9's United staff, and the ability to network with them during the week was invaluable. K9's United also brought in some of the best trainers in the country and it was great to see them teach and show the expectations that each dog/handler team should strive for. The bottom line is that anyone involved with K9's should absolutely try to attend one of these seminars.
I have been to a few K9 courses where the instructors are more of a salesman than a trainer. K9s United is the complete opposite. They never attempted to sell me anything and the instructors were all very knowledgeable and more than willing to help with any issues that anyone in the class had. The instructors stayed late every day so they could work with the K9 teams and answer any questions. The instructor line-up and individuals running this nonprofit are second to none. Thanks for everything you do!!
I had heard so many good things about this class and its instructors and they did not disappoint. (I had to observe due to my dogs injury.) Still as an observer I was able to learn from the instructors whether it was things I had been doing wrong or the things I could improve on and take back to my unit to make us all better.
Solid instructors who take the time to help you with whatever problems you may have to helping you and your dog polish your skills.
I work for a small department that don’t have much funding and thanks to Rob Ramos and the incredible folks at Ace K-9 my department got heat alarms for our K-9 units and they are amazing our partners can be checked on with the phone at any given time we can’t say thank you enough
Attended a K9s United seminar in Denver. It was a fantastic experience. It was truly humbling to learn from excellent PSD trainers. I would highly recommend this course to any team no matter the level of experience, I guarantee you will walk away with more knowledge than you started with. The generosity of K9s united is unparalleled!!!!!!!
Thank you for the picture of my retired K9 partner. I lost him very suddenly with no warning to cancer. Debbie reached out to me and gave me this amazing gift.
Thank you
We recently partnered with K9s United to provide first aid training to K9 Handlers. Our team of veterinary personnel provided the training, and K9s United provided life saving individual first aid kits filled with supplies that we hope the officers never have to use but are grateful that they have if needed.
