Programs: We provide hands on training, rehabilitation, caring for medically and providing a healthy, loving, environment until our Rescued Shepherds find their very own forever homes.

If it wasnt for the love and compassion that Nila Walden-Hughes has for all animals I wouldn't have my best friend. Sadie.

The rescue is a blessing to all animals and the director is a caring and loving individual that devotes their entire life to makeing life better for the breed. The dogs are in a better place and go through a tranformation into a better life, of unconditional love. This rescue cares about the animals, but also cares about the people. I can't speak higher of a more deserving cause. Thank you for all the do for the animals!

We volunteered for K9 and did fostering with them. We ended up being a "foster" failure, and adopted our beautiful Heidi girl from them. They are a wonderful group. They know more about German Shepherds than anyone I've ever met, and work hard to rehome the dogs to the right place.

Fantastically run by a woman who has a true grasp of german shepherd behavior. More care and concern than any rescue I've encountered in decades. As a german shepherd owner and former owner of a boarding and training facility this rescue is hands down the best.

I've always loved the German Shepherd Breed and found K9 Services German Shepherd rescue when I moved to Florida and was ready for another Shep. Nila's does extensive work with the dogs she takes in, she doesn't let let rehome until they are ready in all aspects. Many of her dogs go to police departments.
I can't say enough good about the work done at K9 Services German Shepherd Rescue Inc. I'd highly recommend supporting this rescue

Nila is so in-tune with her rescues and truly cares about their well-being. She's patient and kind and works incredibly hard to reassure the dogs in her care. She is diligent with finding them the perfect forever homes, and bettering the lives not only of dogs, but people, too.

I have known this non profit for years, from when I was looking to adopt a GSD to be my service dog and can only say great things about K9 German Shepherd Rescue. Seeing these dogs finally have a chance at true love is amazing and while it angers me to see what these poor animals endure prior to arriving to shep camp, it also gives me hope to see people come together and do good as well.
Definitely a non-profit worth all of the support available!

Just adopted the love of my LIFE!! (See photo)This organization works miracles for the Sheps that come into rescue as broken (physically mentally and emotionally) dogs. The hard and dedicated work that this organization puts into each and every dog (and even cats!) rescued is evident by all the happy human smiles ,doggy tail wags and sloppy wet kisses seen in so many pictures and videos.

Nila runs the best German shepherd rescue. You know what you will get. She thoroughly tests out each dog. Knows of any issues and makes sure you know. All dogs are healthy and very happy at k9 Services. All dogs only go to a thoroughly checked adopter. She trys to make sure that each placement is a forever home. Nila really knows what she is doing and knows Shepherd breed very well. Can't recommend K9 Services enough

We adopted 2 shepherds from K9 Services. They were both vetted, spayed/neutered, housebroken, and knew commands. Nila has a deep passion for GSDs and it shows in her superb care and incredible work with them. She takes in displaced shepherds, loves them, helps them to heal, and then finds the perfect family for each shep.

We have adopted our Sam from this group. Wonderful people. We also fostered a number of senior dogs. A great group to work with.

I have followed and supported this GSD rescue for many years. I have seen first hand the love, care, and nurturing of many rescue dogs that needed help. I often recommend them when I find a GSD in need. Nila has received a totally emaciated dog and rehabilitated it. Her rescues learn very quickly that they are safe and loved.

My GSD is a rescue from this organization. I found the process very thoroughly conducted. The President does a home inspection and also does a behavior analysis of these rescued dogs in order to assure the proper placement and therefore increasing the rate of success of the adoptions that take place. It does take a little while to complete the adoption, but that is to assure the proper fit or each family and each K-9. The President is always available and expects updates on the progression of the acclimation of the dog to the new home. She is available for consultation and advice on making the process easier to all involved. She is very knowledgeable and very reputable. I will continue to adopt from this organization.

My dog Zoe was surrendered by her former owners to this Rescue. She is an amazing dog and I am so happy I could get her. This group does an AMAZING job saving German Shepherds who have been abandoned, picked up as strays and left at high-kill shelters. They get them back to health and adopt out to families who can provide the love and care these wonderful animals lacked in their past.

Great organization that is truly dedicated to helping the german shepherd breed. The president of this rescue puts her animals before herself and continues to do all she can for the dogs even when things are really tough and not looking like they are going to work out. Dogs are rehabilitated and put in loving homes where they can become part of a family, or on to work as a service/working dog. I will continue to volunteer and help out with this rescue as much as I can!! Love all the wonderful fosters and volunteers, and all the supporters!
