I first met Leisa of K9 Guardians in November of 2013 after talking with my doctor and we both agreeing that there was a need for a service dog. In January of 2014 I started visiting K9 Guardians to start the bonding process with one of the puppies from her K litter. But at the same time I would spend some time with her other dogs. After a few weeks of visiting with the puppies a bond between Jaco and myself started to build. After talking with Leisa we thought that Jaco would be a better fit. In February of 2015 Jaco and I started working together as K9 Guardians first Service Dog team and have been a team for two years now.

If not for Leisa and K9 Guardians I would not be alive today. We average 22 suicides each day from Combat Veterans and I was going to become one of the 22. Leisa, K9 Guardians and Jaco are my heroes.

Thank you K9 Guardians for everything!!

K9 Guardians has saved my life with the service dog they are training for me. I don't know how I'd be if it wasn't for them. What they do is amazing!
