Mission: JusticeAid leverages the community-building power of arts and music to transform awareness into action in the fight against injustice.
Results: Every year we select a timely, compelling justice issue to spotlight and raise funds for. Since 2013 JusticeAid has raised close to 3 million dollars for justice heroes: nonprofits that are ending mass incarceration, addressing the criminalization of poverty and inhumane immigration policies, and protecting civil rights for all. Board member and a core group of other donors covers all operating costs and program expenses fo that 100% of all other donations go to our grantee partner each year. Each year we also produce music concerts to bring together justice and music loving fans to support our grantee partner. All proceeds from the concerts go to our grantee partner. JusticeAid also raises awareness for its justice causes and grantee partners by producing free public “forums” featuring panel discussions, keynote speakers, plus musical elements that educate the public about justice issues. We produce an annual Impact Report with highlights and photo galleries from the past year's programs and events. https://justiceaid.org/impact-reports/
