Just One Day is a great opportunity for disabled veterans to take their mind off of their disabilities and other life problems. DJ Williams (owner) is a disabled veteran who is giving back to other disabled veterans. Just One Day provides everything that a disabled veteran requires to spend the day on the lake fishing. First timers are welcomed and given assistance in their first fishing experiences by experienced fishermen on Just One Day's staff. I enjoyed my experience as both a volunteer and disabled veteran.

My name is Forrest Angler Beckman, and I have the pleasure of knowing Disabled Veteran, Mr. D.J. Williams, with Just One Day. Mr. Williams has taken me fishing on a personal level, and has taught me new fishing techniques, and showed his professionalism on the sport of fishing. Whether Mr. Williams is not feeling well or in pain, he still gets out there and truly shows he is committed, even when he could be home resting or even just spending quality time with his family.

Its my pleasure to have donated to Just One Day, and I will make it my priority to be a part of a wonderful organization in the future.

Sincerely, Forrest Angler Beckman

Awesome group of Vets, and people helping vets with disabilities, learn to get out doors for fun and adventure. I have been proud of helping them with a Private lake catch fish. The lake is maintained by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife primarily for fishing education.

First off let me say im a active soldier being medically retired, secondly i signed up for a trip with just one day and the units didnt coordinate transportation so i thought i would t be able to make it. How VERY WRONG i was, i called DJ Williams and because he is so passionate about wounded service members getting there stress release, comfort ect. He paid for my gas for me to drive my own vehicle to the particular trip and it was a fantastic day so i give J. O. D. A five star rating!!!!!!

My name is Jeremiah and I am a disabled Army veteran. Having been removed from service for the last few years, it has been difficult to readjust and find those moments of clarity in life. I found myself secluding and doing things to try and be at peace (often alone). Then I had the luck to come across this group when I met one of the volunteers, Ben. My experience with this group was one of everything I needed. An opportunity to be outside. A moment of peace on the lake fishing. And, most importantly, the feeling of camaraderie that I have been missing since leaving my unit in 2009. I wish this group the best. For what they do for men and women in need shows their true colors: Red, White and Blue.

My name is Dennis Hunter, I am a professional Walleye tournament angler. Several month's ago me and my wife attended a Just One day event at a local lake to see what they were all about and was very impressed and humbled with all of the volunteer's and the help and support that they were giving to all of the soldier's and veteran's with a great day of fishing, to see the smile's on everyone's face's and the camaraderie was the least to say overwhelming. We plan on volunteering at an event in the future and I would advise everyone to check them out at justoneday.net and do what ever you can do for the hero's in our armed force's, Godbless them all !

My name is Jim Douglas. I am a fishing guide an tournament angler. One of the best forms of therapy is fishing and being outdoos. Just One Day offers this in a very professional and classy way. The locations are easily accesiable for everyone, and generally fish very well. The attention to detail is superior, and the staff and volunteers go above and beyond what is expected. I have just recently started helping them out, and will continue to do so. I would recomend Just One Day to every one.

This creating a environment that make it a very successful organization. The care they give to theses soldiers and Vetrans it top notch. If you are a soldier or veteran in the Denver area sign up and go have a great day of fishing. Please go to there website. www.justoneday,net and check them out.
