Working parents BEWARE!!!! We never got to participate because our child was assigned a practice time during work hours (4:30-5:30pm) two times per week. We were not made aware that practice times could be during typical work hours and were denied a refund because it was past the May 31st refund date. We were not informed of the practice time or field location until 2 months after the refund date and the day before the 1st practice. JUSA needs to work on communicating how their organization runs, so that it is clear before families sign up and invest their hard earned money.

We are sorry to read your comment and that you did not understand how practices work. The first line of our "Important Information Fall 2015 Season" packet given to parents upon registration said, "Practice: Practice begins August 3rd. Practices are scheduled between 4:30-9:30 p.m. Monday -Friday. Generally younger divisions will take those early practice times." Also, upon registering, every parent agrees to the no refund policy. This is standard for sports leagues to ensure teams stay together and people do not quit after teams are formed. Our volunteers work hard to provide youth soccer to our community. A generation of former JUSA players who are now parents proudly provide soccer to our community. We are grateful to them for providing an opportunity for your family and thousands of other families in Orange County. We hope you and your family rejoin Southern California's largest independent recreational youth soccer program.
