Causes: Women, Womens Service Clubs
Mission: The junior league of honolulu is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the efective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Programs: The junior league of honolulu develops the potential of women and improves communities by conducting volunteer projects including my story. My story is dedicated to helping girls discover the power they have within themselves through verbal sharing and creative activities facilitated by trained junio league members. The core curriculum covers fun and interesting topics such as being a girl, body image, friendship, and love impact honolulu. Impact honolulu responds to community needs through a series of short term "done-in-a-day" style projects. These projects, initiated either externally or internally, are developed by league volunteers to make a positive impact on the community. Accomplishments include providing a 1,000 grant.
