Programs: Education: the junior league of birmingham,inc. (jlb) believes that all individuals deserve a quality education and the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to achieve their potential and be fully developed, productive individuals. The organization believes success in school depends upon emotional, physical, social, and intellectual readiness to learn. During this year, jlb supported initiatives that addressed school readiness of young children, literacy among women and children and success in school with elementary students.
