Programs: The julian center shelter provided safe harbor, advocacy, and programming to 473 adults and 303 children in 2014 for a total of 34,764 nights of safe shelter. 87% of those residents had incomes of less than $15,000 per year. While in shelter, residents had access to case management, legal advocacy, mental health services, medical care and self-sufficiency programming. 8,061 calls were received through our 24 hour crisis call line and we provided 14,880 referrals to other agencies for assistance.
the julian center non-residential program provides crisis intervention, advocacy services, self-sufficiency programming and legal assistance to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault in the community who, for various reasons, do not need emergency shelter or who need on-going support after exiting a shelter. Our outreach advocates, in partnership with the indianapolis metropolitan police department, served 7,673 victims affected by a domestic violence incident in 2014. On-site non-residential services program reached an additional 1,984 families in 2014.
This place is fake and prejudice. Out of 6 people 3 are getting put out . 3caucasion 3african American. 3caucasion have been there less time than the other 3 .the 3 Caucasian are the ones getting put out for no reason . One of the ones getting put out was sexually harassed by a man that was staying there . I believe that is the reason why she is being put out . The other two were being bullied by the other 3. They truly are prejudice and it's ashame those 3 females will be turned to the streets or back to there abusers
