Programs: Kcam radio continues to reach out to the copper river valley with informative entertaining and educational broadcasts. Breaking news coverage provides emergency information during fires and other local events affecting the community. In 2017, kcam covered local hockey and basketball teams as they traveled around the state. These broadcasts allow our local listeners to follow the local teams even when they are hundreds of miles from home. Kcam also broadcasts live from the kenny lake fair, the 4th of july parade and the copper basin 300 sled dog race. Kcam broadcast the ems radio auction, the copper basin 300 sled dog race, and the copper basin seniors radio auction. These events bring an awareness of the local needs and also give people a vehicle to donate to these important non-profits in our area. A main part of our broadcast is education. Kcam continues to broadcast evangelistic, bible study and training programs. We are dedicated to sharing the gospel as well as how to live a godly life in our world. Along with educational programs for our listeners we also are excited to educate new broadcasters. Kcam worked with a young hockey announcer at the end of the high school regular and post-season. Through music and various programs, we continue to entertain our listeners. Our morning show also includes important information as people are starting their day.
