Causes: Environment, Land Resources Conservation

Mission: To preserve the rural character of the area for the benefit and well being of the inhabitants; to acquire and assure the preservation and maintenance of land in the interest of conservation of natural resources, and the development of an open space program; to acquire and assure the preservation and maintenance of land and/or improvements to land having unique historical significance to the area. In 2011, the trust became accredited by the land trust alliance.
