Programs: (aftercare and support services) the foundation worked with three non-profits that provide housing or other support services homeless individuals in support of their efforts to provide educational services to residents and effective aftercare services once the residents leave the program as well as to provide job training and after care support to ensure their continued employment. These programs are intended to prepare residents to maintain independent living once they leave the housing programs. (review of proposals) throughout the year, the foundation received a number of grant proposals from non- profits and requests from individuals who were in need of shelter or who were looking for volunteer opportunities at area homeless shelters and food pantries. The foundation researched the organizations making these requests and decided whether to provide the requested assistance. The foundation also provided contact information to individuals looking to use or volunteer services at area non-profits. National (20% of total time)
