Joey’s Home Animal Rescue is the BEST! The animals are ALL well cared for. They get ALL of their needs met. They are carefully watched over so if any one of the looks a little ill, they get the BEST OF CARE. They are all groomed, fed and stalls cleaned out daily. The animals are friendly and love to be petted and attention. I love going out there to help out.
I have been a volunteer for approximately 6 years at this wonderful rescue. All of the horses are well feed, get the best veterinarian and farrier treatment. When the horse is ready they get training and evaluation as to what type of home would be best for the individual horse. Most important they are loved!
I adopted my wonderful, loving and handsome horse Buck from Joey's home animal rescue ❤️
Joeys Home is the best rescue in the high desert. I worked for two years doing their fund raising for them and what a great operation. I would not have devoted that much time to them if I didn't believe they were legit.
Joeys Home is filled with so much love from the owners and volunteers alike! I’ve never met more caring people who have hearts as big as theirs in my life. When you walk in, you are greeted with smiles and ‘hellos’ from all around— truly a family atmosphere. The devotion everyone puts into these beautiful creatures is evident in the sweet disposition the animals have in response to not only their caretakers, but complete strangers as well. Every animal is up-kept in the greatest manner, from the moment they get there, through a very professional adoption system if applicable, and afterwards. The animals who are not fit to rehome are given a wonderful sanctuary to live out the rest of their time happy and comfortable. With the cleanest grounds I’ve ever seen, I cannot recommend this rescue enough!
I retired from Animal Welfare in 2018 after 21 years, I was introduced to Joey’s Home Rescue, Melinda Allen. I was very impressed with the level of care and the dreams they have. I immediately decided to help them by sharing my Wisdom and donors. I plan on helping them fund raise. They are being flooded with owner turn ins, as well as going to Auction to rescue from death . This is a wonderful organization and I hope folks will go up and see for themselves the second chances these horses are getting.
