I was in the middle of treatment when I contacted Jill's wish. I reached out to Jill's wish. Although, time had passed they remembered me and reached back out to see if I still needed help. Thank you so very much.
The Jill's Wish Organization has been a great organization to volunteer for. Everyone involved is very compassionate. Helping a cause that helps people in need makes it all worth it.
After hearing Jill's story and her wish to continue to help others, I felt compelled to become involved in such an amazing organization. Everyone is very focused on the people and the mission. Loved it!
Last year I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at the age of 40. Never had a man first one got a call and said I had cancer I dropped my phone I was in shock. So everything happened so fast. I couldn't work because I was so sick my bills were piling up and I tried getting help with no success towards bills. I did receive blankets cups hats etc. I came across jills wish and thought hmm I'll give it my last shot I was desperate I had kids to care for needless to say after almost dieing from chemo my rent got behind 950.00 my landlord knew I was sick so he didn't harp on me he was understanding. I got a message with things they needed I did that not even 4 days later I got approved for 1500 I had tears as I maxed out my credit card with other bills they paid him the whole amount and I had credit for 3 months these people are truly a miracle to me as its sad that there's so much out there for cancer but when your actually going through it its hard to get any help. Right now I'm once again getting behind but I'll keep fighting because I have hope thank you again jills wish for making my life easier.❤
In 2013 I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Double Mastectomy, reconstruction and chemo. I thought I had beat this beast, I thought I was good to go, But I wrong. August of 2018, I went to the doctor with what I thought was a back ache, however it was not your normal back ache. I quickly found out that I had a compression fracture in my t7 vertebrae. How at 42? well because the cancer I thought was gone had metastasized to my spine and also my hip. So here I am again, fighting this beast. Fighting this beast was different this time. Different treatment, different meds and different company. You see in 2013 I was married, I had the extra support financially. I had no worries about how I would pay bills, how I would make ends meet or how I would care for my kids. In 2016 my husband and I ended our marriage of 12 years. I knew it was for the best, I knew it was going to be a different life, but I never thought that cancer would return.
I was introduced to Jills Wish in 2015, thought WOW so amazing program. What and amazing women! I was able to see and learn about Jill as a friend, a sister, a daughter and a wife. Jill became someone that I wanted to have in my corner. The smile that could light up the world. The stories of strength and determination. I remember at Jill's funeral here in Michigan there was standing room only. I remember watching the tears mixed with smiles on friends and loved ones faces. I remembered hugging class mates of Jill's, I remember after the evening of celebrating Jill's life feeling as if I had just met this women for myself.
It was December of 2018 that I was notified that I was going to be a recipient of Jill's wish. With this I was able to have the extra financial help during this beast. Thank you so much to the Jill's wish foundation for helping my family. Love and prayers to all cancer patients and to those that give to such an amazing organization.

I have stage 4 mestatic breast cancer. I also have 3 children one of whom is special needs. I am not able to work due to my cancer. Jill's wish helped me with my bills. Can't tell you how much that meant to me. Jill's wish is a blessing. Thank you for all you do.
Struggling with stage lV breast cancer. Physically and financially as well as mentally. My cancer social worker Kristen, stepped up and put me in touch with Jill's Wish. An amazing organization that has helped take the financial strain away so that I can focus on being well for a minute. Thank you Jill's Wish❣
All I can say is Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ❤ I had Stage 3 ER+ breast cancer. If I didn't work I didn't get paid. Needless to say I have been in a financial strain. This helped when I really needed it. My transmission in my car went out and had no idea what to do. God Bless all who make things happen especially when your feeling hopeless sometimes. Life gets better! Thank you Jill! ❤
There are no words to express how much the loving people at Jill's Wish have helped my family during this stress filled time. I was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer..Metaplastic...stage 2. Braca Positive.
Going from a Drs checkup to finding this out..starting chemo less than a month later..double mastectomy...infection etc.
My insurance covers none of this, I found out once claims were getting denied for coverage.
Bills are stacking up so high its all I can do not to break down and cry everyday.
This foundation has given my family a bit of breathing room by covering our mortgage for 2 months. Talk about a life preserver thrown in my direction. This bit of breathing room means the world to me and my family.
I want to wrap my arms around everyone who has made this possible.-D Mautz
My name is Roxane and I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren, I am also a new great grand mother and he is 3 months old. I have so much trouble with my bills and getting medicine and food and things for my house. This is a blessing to me to try to relax because I worry a lot about my bills and stress is not good for any one. I have had this for over 2 years and God has let me still be here. I was told I was terminal but he can do anything and I believe that. Thank you for your help and I really do mean this. God bless you so much.
My heart is full of gratitude to the Jill's Wish Foundation. I was recently advised that I would receive a $1500 grant to be applied to my mortgage payment and utility bills. What a blessing!! You cannot imagine the relief I feel knowing monies have been applied to these bills. You have helped lift the challenging and daunting burden of how to meet these obligations. Taking this worry off my plate while I deal with my battle with metastatic, stage IV breast cancer has allowed me to concentrate on fighting this dreaded cancer and also has given me some worry-free time to make precious memories with my two teenage sons. Your help has made my struggle easier. I cannot say thank you enough.
A neighbor mentioned this charity to me and what it stands for. I am here today golfing at the Jill’s Wish annual golf outing. What a great event!
I am participating in the Jill’s Wish golf outing in MI. Glad I could be involved and support the cause.
Amazing foundation to keep the memory of Jill alive. And for Jill’s foundation to give back to those affected by breast cancer! Great foundation to donate to!!! Love you guys!!!!!
This organization truly supports people being able to live under such life changing circumstances. So glad I can be a part of something so profound.
This non-profit hits home as Jill was from Michigan. There have been so many I have crossed paths with that knew Jill or knows of Jill’s Wish. I work for Allstate and couldn’t be more proud to support Jill’s Wish and its mission.
I'm a 37 year old, mother of a 9 & 2 year old. I was diagnosed in November 2017 with Stage IV Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Triple Positive with metastasis to my bones and lymphnodes. I have gone through 3 rounds of aggressive chemo, double mastectomy and 25 treatments of aggressive radiation. I reached out to Jills Wish Foundation to help us with bills since I had an influx of medical bills and want able to keep up with it all. They were a God-send to our family!! Because of them, we were able to put some money back for emergencies and get our bills up to date. My diagnosis was a hard hit for not just myself but my family and Jills Wish Foundation was the only response I received that didn't hold my husband's income against us.
I could never thank this foundation enough!!
I reached out to Jill's Wish after my cancer treatment started. I had a rough chemo experience and missed a lot of work. The foundation was such a blessing to our family. We had wiped our savings out right before my diagnosis with adopting our granddaughter. I was under so much stress with the chemo complications and the bills piling up.
I will always be so grateful I was approved for the max donation. It let me actually sleep and recover for a few weeks before my breast surgery.
I can't express how much this meant to me. My mental and emotional well being needed the relief. Your organization gave me that. Wonderful people.
I lost my job after my mastectomy & health complications have kept me unemployed until the day. Once finished with mastectomy, chemotherapy & radiation it's hard to find financial aid that still considers you while on anti-hormonal treatment, which is called non-active treatment. When done with radiation I got a gift trip to recover and rest, but being worried about household bills wasn't helpful. I reached out to this foundation and not only was Bart diligent, but kind & genuinely caring. Judy was very nice too. They quickly approved my application, covered by monthly rent, utilities & gave me the peace I needed to continue healing.
P.S.: Through my journey I haven't really cried cancer, hope & joy have overcome it...but when I saw Jill's photography shooting in France & read her letter, I felt her soul so purely that I cried for all the time I didn't before. Eternally grateful! mL
Thanks Jill wish for helping my family and I during the most difficult time in my life. Battle stage 4 Breast cancer and not being able to work and provide for my kids like i used to. The timing was right on time. I’m very greatful and appreciative for what your organization has done for me and eithers . Thanks Jill’s Wish
Amazing! I am so so thankful for the help they provided me. They helped me with a bill. Wonderful people, I applied for the grant it was a very quick response. The organization started with Jill who she was diagnosed with cancer and was difficult for her to find organization in which provides financial support. That's why this organization was created so no one will go though that financial struggle.
I will always be thankful to them for their help.
Jill’s wish helped me with 2 months worth of bills at a much needed time. I just found out that my cancer had metastasized to my lungs and had to start aggressive treatment. My hours at work decreased and we started to get behind on bills. Jill’s wish allowed me to focus on getting better. I grateful for this extraordinary organization.
I am on the board for Jill's Wish and it is an honor to be a part of this amazing foundation. Jill Conley was an inspiration to so many and it's awesome to help others in the same situation as Jill and help keep her memory alive.
From the moment I learned about Jill's wish Foundation I knew I wanted to help spread the word and help raise funds to help others in need. Jill's Wish; Founded out of love and passion to help others in need.
This organization is pursuing exactly what Jill wanted. Jill wanted to help those families going through cancer to receive a little extra help with house payments and other bills. Many families have benefited from this foundation in the short time since it was created.
As an Oncology Social Worker at Norton Cancer Institute, I provide support services and resources to patients in active out-patient treatment programs. Often, we find that several patients can not juggle work and the demands of treatment. The lack of income and medical expenses create unmanageable stress for those families trying to complete treatment successfully. The #1 resource requested by our patients is financial assistance. Depending on the patients needs and type of cancer, will direct the sources I am able to provide for our patients. Therefore, I have worked with several non-profit organizations and have always been impressed with the easy application process and the quick implementation of the financial assistance once a Wish is granted. Many of my patients do not have energy or the concentration to manage a lengthy application process and need immediate assistance when a financial crisis is occurring. Jill's Wish is able to meet those needs, which is what sets their foundation a part from the other resources we utilize for our patients.
I've attended numerous events for this organization- the passion the volunteers have to carry on Jill's Wish to help those with breast cancer is amazing. I love taking pictures at the events to contribute to this cause!!! Rock What you got!!!
Jill was a beautiful person inside and out. She left this amazing legacy behind for us to help others going through the same financial struggles she did during Brest Cancer treatment. I am honored to be a part of this group of people that work hard everyday to financially support these courageous woman and their families.
Jill's Wish is an awesome foundation. I volunteer at several events. They have worked so hard to keep Jill's dream alive. She was so strong and courageous and always wanted to help others. Her wish of helping people with breast cancer financially while going through this horrible disease is growing each year and I am honored to help them out whenever possible.
I met Jill and Bart after seeing the documentary made about Jill. While we were complete strangers living in different countries I decided to purchase a plane ticket to run the first annual Jill's wish 5k to show jill how much she inspired me. I have cerebral palsy and walk with a walker and have been struggling with an chronic illness so a 5k wasn't something I had ever done before but I had to for. Being part of Jill and Bart's lives ever since and helping with the foundation has been the biggest honour of my life. It has given me the strength to continue fighting my own battle with a positive attitude. Hearing the inspiring stories of so many strong women and knowing I could be part of supporting them has been so special. You could not do better than supporting this charity
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer last year in Sept of 2017 and I was struggling to pay my bills and find any help. I have a little boy who is 8 years old and was our only source of income. I needed to try to continue working through treatment and was challenged by finding many resources that could help. That was until I came upon Jlls Wish. They helped me through a very difficult time and gave me hope. The process was easy and not a burden and they helped every step of the way. I will forever be grateful for their compassion and help during my diagnosis and hard time in life.
Gigantic load lifted!!
Our hearts are full with gratitude for Jill's Wish Foundation. In December 2016 I was diagnosed with IDC stage 2 breast cancer. This came to a huge shock for all of us. But in January I immediately started chemo treatments which were very intense. My husband works away and is only home a few days during the week so this was especially hard on him as well. We have 2 children too. So he chose to take some time off so he could be by my side during my first couple treatments which was wonderful since I was so very sick. Jill's wish couldn't have come at a better time because we were financially stressed. It helped us focus on the main objective which was myself getting better. Which in return lifted a huge weight from all of us when we received our financial assistance. It helped to free up some finances so we could pay medical, groceries and a few other things. This is the most amazing non-profit I have came across. They were eager to help, kind and generous. Thank you Bart and entire staff for blessing us on this very difficult journey. Much love
Xo,
Celeste
Jill's wish helped me to pay my rent for 2 months due to the fact I have bone cancer & can't work. Without this foundation I dont know how I would have a place to live. This has helped me so much that I now can concentrate on my treatments and getting well. Thanks so much Jill's wish for your help. You sure were a life saver for me.
I'm 32 and in December 2016 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I was not able to work during chemotherapy and we needed help with the bills and the nice staff at Norton's in Louisville KY told me about Jill's Wish and they helped very much. Thank you so much for helping my family during hard times.
Jill and Bart Conley started Jill's Wish to help breast cancer patients and they do! They both are very caring and truly want to help others. They have been through years of battling Jill's cancer and know firsthand how cancer can affect you financially. They want to help as many people as possible and are doing this through Jill's Wish. This is a very important nonprofit group that I support and hope many others choose to as well.
As a breast cancer survivor I know the financial struggle we go through all to well after a diagnoses of breast cancer. Jill's Wish helps take away some of that stress with their understanding and compassionate foundation! We are all truly blessed to have Jill and Jill's Wish Foundation.
When I met Jill and found out about what she was trying to do to help women undergoing treatment for breast cancer, I knew I had to get involved. This non-profit works tirelessly to provide immediate help to women stay current with their bills. The organization considers everyone who works for it, volunteers for its events, or benefits from its financial grants like family. It is truly a home-grown, grassroots organization that has made such a difference in the lives of the women it serves.
Jill's Wish Foundation was built upon the wish of breast cancer champion fighter Jill Conley. After Jill's was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early 30's, she witnessed first hand the financial struggles brought on by fighting her battle. Her wish was to help others and she formed Jill's Wish. Although still fighting her own battle, Jill continues to inspire others to live, and give, for the moment.
Started by a woman with Stage IV breast cancer and a heart of gold, Jill's Wish is committed to providing women undergoing treatment for breast cancer with much-needed financial assistance to cover everyday living expenses. This is not another breast cancer awareness non-profit, Jill Brzezinski-Conley and her husband, Bart, know first-hand what it's like to struggle to pay bills while surviving cancer, they want to pay it forward, and once you meet either one of them, you are family forever. They bring innate warmth, energy and hope to Jill's Wish, its fundraising efforts and all of its grantees. If you are looking for a non-profit that thinks globally, but acts locally and makes a vital and marked difference in the lives of the women it helps, look no further than Jill's Wish.
I have been honored to have been a part of this great non-profit for over 3 years now and I can't tell you how rewarding it has been to touch so many women's lives with some much needed financial assistance while they concentrate on their recovery. Jill has been such an inspiration to me a so many thousands of folks across the globe with her zest for life and her genuine concern for helping others. I feel blessed to serve on such a great cause as the Jill's Wish Foundation
I've had the honor & privilege to work with Jill and her foundation to raise funds to provide some financial assistance to those fighting cancer!! All monies raised over costs goes directly to grant (financial) wishes to those in need! I have hosted an event for Jill's Wish, as well as volunteered for many other events to benefit this wonderful foundation.
Last year I was going through treatment after being diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm a 30 year old single mom. Jill's Wish enabled me to stay caught up on my bills and not stress so much about money. I was able to focus on me and my son! Jill is an amazing inspiration. She was truly a blessing to me and my son!
Jills Wish is an amazing non-profit organization. Jill has gone above and beyond wanting to help familys fighting Cancer financially. She has been fighting herself so for her to do what she does to help others needs to be recognized. She has the biggest kindest heart of anyone i have had the good fortune and blessing to know. Her detecation is one to be noticed. I love Jill and her non-profit organization.
Jill has been my best friend for 31 years. She has a heart of gold! Helping others is her medication. It is what pulls her through each and every day. Cancer is a nasty illness and I couldn't think of a better nonprofit organization I would want to support then Jill's Wish. Who wouldn't want to help others that have been dealt this awful hand?
I am beyond proud of you and all your hard work to make Jill's Wish your wish come true!
