Causes: Education, Higher Education
Mission: An initiative of the society of jesus that brings higher education to those at the margins of our society. It draws on the rich & centuries long jesuit tradition of higher education and mobilizes the resources of the jesuit worldwide network of educational institutions.
Programs: Providing higher education to people at the margins of our society. Over 4,000 students have accessed higher education through jwl. Third graduation of the diploma program in the dzaleka refugee camp in malawi and the kakuma refugee camp in kenya. Over 75 faculty volunteer to teach from united states, mexico, india, singapore, germany, and spain. The organization received $56,000 in noncash donation of services from georgetown university and $25,000 in noncash donation of facilities from gonzaga university. In addition, the organization also received $7,000 in noncash donation of services from academic faculty members.
