Eric and Christina Jenks owners of Jenks Ranch and Rescue are amazing people. I was introduced to them on Earth day 2016 and I have been a avid supporter since. You come to the ranch and you encounter horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, rabbits, raccoons, chickens, turkeys, dogs and cats. They recently took in over 40 mini-horses from a hoarding case that were in terrible condition and four donkeys one of whom could not stand up. Christina with her loving heart nurses everyone back to health. She works on adopting out those she had worked so hard on rehabilitating. The rescue like most is donation based but Eric Jenks is also a first responder in Pasco county. He saves lives at home and at work. I cannot say enough good things about these people. always in need of volunteers and supporters, Jenks Ranch and rescue is making a difference in animals lives. If you get a chance go out and visit them.
I have only been volunteering at the rescue for a couple of months now, but in that short period I have witnessed the compassion, devotion and love that is given to these animals. Christina and Eric are amazing people who place the well-being of these animals above all else.
I have know this couple personally for over 10 years. They are very dedicated to their mission to help animals in need. They have strong ethics and values for the advocacy of all animals.
I have been serving on the board of directors for this organization for 3 years. No only have i assisted with founding the Rescue i am also a full time volunteer. The blood sweat and tears (literally) Eric and Christina Jenks put in to this place is beyond words.
Great folks with big hearts! Willing to go the extra mile for the care of all the animals on the property.
As Parents we see the flash-by of behind the scenes activities required to carry out their mission. The deep dedication that is driven with love produces possibly the best life any of the Rescue Animals were ever near or received. Compare your own attention you give to your family pet, multiply that probably 100 fold and you may realize what the Jenks Ranch Rescue provides.
If you are a lover of all creatures great and small and you wish to see knowledgeable, tough people throwing their heart and soul into protecting them, this is the organization for you.
Jenks Ranch and Rescue is a rescue that TRUELY puts animals physical and mental health top priority.
They are educated, caring and put these abused, starved and neglected animals first and foremost.
Never comprising anything to bring animals to their very best they can be, and ready for forever homes with someone who loves them
I have been a part of JR&R for years, volunteering here since the beginning and it is a wonderful place for the animals as well as the volunteers that help out. The owners have a true love of these animals and an understanding of how to care for them to go with it. They pay attention and give the necessary care for each individual on the rescue, never giving up on an animal that needs there help, putting in countless hours to help these animals find a better life than where they came from. They can be trusted with any animal brought to them.
It is also a great place to volunteer for anyone who is looking to give time to help animals in need. You can work as Little or as much as you desire and the great thing is, the more you are there the more they will show you and teach you. If your looking for a place to make a difference look no farther, this is the place!
Jenks Ranch and Rescue Inc. are amazing and go above and beyond for all animals they put their hearts into their work. They love what they do and I am so lucky to know them. We try to do fundraisers for them at least once a year to help with cost of things they need so if you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated..thanks for all you do Eric and Christina Jenks
Love this rescue. We adopted a puppy and he was healthy and happy thanks to Jenks taking in his mom and dad. If he would have been born in the environment he was in he and his siblings and probably the parents would have been another statistic. They do wonderful job and hope to be a volunteer there one day!! They have really impressed me.
