Mission: Jefferson county ems (jcems) will provide the highest level of pre-hospital basic and advanced life support care with a focus on the best possible customer service.
Programs: Jefferson county ems (jcems) responded to over 9,500 requests for help from ill and injured persons in 2016. Jcems responds to these requests without regard to race, sex, ethnic origin, religious background or socio- economic status. Jcems also participates in public education, prevention, and training relative to the emergency medical services system and emergency medicine.
