Programs: Heigl hounds of hope - at least 8 million dogs and cats enter us animal shelters every year. At least 4 to 5 million don't get out alive. Our foundation seek to end the sadness in this madness by providing shelter and medical care to homeless pes in southern california. The heigl foundation's spay neuter program- the simplest and most effective medium term solution to this massacre. Given the geometric progression of population growth, every animal we fix today saves tens then hundreds then thousands of animals from our shelter system of tomorrow.
