Jacksonville Historical District was founded in March 2014 with the help of the towns people who want to collect and share the legacy of our town that started in June 29, 1870.
They have put the oldest building on First and Second streets on the National Register for Historic places.
Currently have renovating two buildings, and gathering funds for the reconstruction of the Train Depot, so people can eat and watch the trains go by.
