Mission: The Jacksonville Automotive and Motorcycle Museum, a 501(c)3 Educational Not For Profit organization is the first of its' kind on the First Coast, bringing a World Class automotive experience to Jacksonville! JAAMM houses Classic, Exotic, Hot Rod, Racing and Unique Cars, Trucks and even Military vehicles all for the enjoyment of the general public. With hundreds of collectible and unique cars ready to be displayed, JAAMM has something for everyone!
Results: it took the bulk of 2015 to create the museum space, now we look to 2016 to begin our mission!
Target demographics: Educate youth on the preservation and restoration of automobiles and motorcycles.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Create the museum, which encompassed the renovation of a 126,000 square foot facility to house the museum.
Geographic areas served: Jacksonville, Florida
Programs: - Vocational training for underprivileged children in the skills of: automotive maintenance, automotive mechanical repair, body and paint work, frame and alignment repair. - Classes will restore a car from junk to showroom to be displayed on site. - Work placement with our automotive corporate partners for our vocational students. - Automotive restoration classes and workshops for the general public. - Engine and suspension tuning courses for hot rod and racing enthusiasts. - Art Classes - Learn from the masters to create a painting of your dream car.
