Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: To rescue abandoned, abused and unwanted elderly horses in the western wyoming region, and ensure these animals are cared for in safe and adquate environments.
Programs: During 2017 we took in twelve horses. As of october 2017 we had 29 horses in our care. Two horses died - one of cancer and the other for no evidentiary reason. A few of these horses were placed during 2017, and we found a home for nine of the horses for the winter of 2017-2018. We cared for 15 horses with plans to adopt them out in the spring of 2018. All horses adopted are given to their new homes at no charge. No horses are ever sold. Jesse rodenbaugh trained the horses, and twelve were placed in good hands. Some of the horses brought in are considered unadoptable and will permanently reside with the organization.
