Thank you for this opportunity to share my view of the JW Mask Alumni Chapter of CHHS-MAHS. I attended Monroe Ave. as a Junior High student (Post Intergration). My aunties, sisters, uncules and cousins attended pre Intergration. The stories I would hear about their days at Monroe Ave. and the Monroe Ave TIGGERS!!!! I would often think of what it must have been like to be a TIGGER. So much pride, so much joy, and most of all a mind set of FAMILY. The JW Mask Alumni Chapter of CHHS-MAHS helps to keep those emotions and feelings fresh at heart. The NON-PROFIT efforts are the most rewarding. Having resently become a member of the Alumni Chapter I have been a part of and seen the work they do. Outstanding Humaniterian efforts and giving. Persons who genuinely care about the welfare of students, parents and community. I would encourage the alumni and community at large to continue to support the efforts of the JW Mask Alumni Chapter. Believe me it is a worthy and rewarding feeling, and an outstanding organization for the welfare and benefit of the community.
