It's a She Thing is such a beautiful organization. Run by two incredible, inspirational Black women, this company seeks to empower women across difference to navigate the complex world as we know it. From youth development programs to support groups to family engagement events, it's clear that a It's a She Thing knows how to reach into its community and uplift with authenticity.
Such an amazing circle of support! This group is fun, positive, upbeat and impactful. The children develop new skills in a variety of subjects, from entrepreneurship, creative expression to teamwork & collaboration skills.
I just was to start with I love It's a She Thing, Inc. I have attended two She Talks, both were held in a comfortable, safe and welcoming space. The first discussion was "Dealing with Grief" and the second was with a group of women who are the caretakers of an elderly parent/parents. Both meetings left me feeling informed and empowered. The guest experts, and the women who attended were just what I needed, and I now know that I am not alone in my thought patterns and emotions.
I also had the opportunity to attend the closing ceremony for the Empowerment Camp for Girls. I was blown away. The girl had a full curriculum, which included Entrepreneurship and the Arts. They showcased the things they learned during their two weeks stay and it was VERY impressive how confident they were and how encouraging they were to each other.
Lastly it is my impression that She Thing Inc is a well-rounded organization offering strength to women and girls and I looking forwarded to hearing good things about them in the future. I will continue attending She Talks on subject matters that are of interest to me.
It's a She Thing, Inc. is a great non profit organization that helps women and young ladies with their everyday life. While attending the SheTalk group discussions, I came out with the right tools to help me through difficult situations and the right tools to help others. I learned self care, self awareness, and i gave myself a chance to speak up and be heard. I love this organization and I can't wait to see this organization grow more in the future.
