Causes: Human Services, Transportation Assistance
Mission: Our mission is to provide sustainable, community-based transportation services for seniors and visually impaired adults., thereby preserving and promoting independence.
Results: Over 20,000 rides provided, and countless helpful moments and treasured memories.
Target demographics: seniors and adults with visual impairments
Direct beneficiaries per year: 100 riders and their families as well as many service providers (medical facilities, supermarkets, theaters, etc.)
Geographic areas served: Central Connecticut
Programs: We are neighbors helping neighbors - friendly, helpful, engaged volunteer drivers providing safe, reliable transportation any time, for any reason!
