Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The purpose of the italian american citizens club of south san francisco is to maintain a high moral standard, foster general interest in our city, and to perpetuate the italian heritage and culture. This is done through supporting medical research for a cure for cooley's anemia (a blood deficiency prevalent among young people of the mediterranean), promoting cultural exchanges between italy and the local community through bocce tournaments and cultural events, and providing two annual college scholarships for young italian-americans.
