This place was a lifesaver for me 3 years ago. I was in the middle of a terrible divorce and my kids and I found support and strength this mosque. They welcome everyone. They are kind to all. No question is a dumb question. My family feel comfortable there as well. When I tell my kids we are going to the eyes light up as if I said Chuck E Cheese. I am truly blessed to live less than 15 minutes away from this wonderful place.
IslaminSpanish's heartfelt intentions touch the lives of those who walk through their doors and extend out to the community.
They offer a wide variety of programs for everyone at different stages in their lives. They make you feel welcomed and the organization's leaders are approachable, humble and sincere.
Yo he sido un colaborador de esta magnífica organización sin ánimo de lucro, desde sus inicios hace ya varios años y siempre he admirado la dedicación y honestidad de , no sólo sus directores y guías, sino de la congregación en general. Que Dios los siga guiando.
My husband and I have so much respect for this organization their hard work and dedication is amazing followed by a great team of volunteers. This place offers a family oriented environment welcoming everyone to learn, reaching out for the community with guidance and leadership.
This Islamic center is home to a very loving and welcoming community of Muslims from all walks of life. They put in a lot of hard work to reach out to people that need that sense of belonging. I love this organization and all of their efforts!
I visited IslaminSpanish a couple times. They are always welcoming and willing to listen and help. They are truely dedicated for the sake of community benefit. I am glad We have that center in Houston, TX
I was devastated when I had to move to Houston and the community here made me feel welcome and provided me with a new sense of purpose. This is my daughter's favorite masjid to attend as well.
They are real good with marketing and promotion. They bring diversity together. They are educating the community. They give community members the opportunity to grow and develop.
They are very a very welcoming nonprofit organization. They have programs active at the moment within the community and inshaAllah will be adding more. Even tho they are in the middle of a growing process and remodeling there building They have several classes being given at the moment, for adult and children. Everyone is always welcome and anytime (from my personal experience) that someone needs help they have tried their best to do so. Alhamdullilah May Allah bless them with good health, high Iman and good intentions. Ameen
The new building is in an Ideal Location for an Islamic Center. A very diverse community with great resources. They have lots of Islamic lectures and events in Spanish and English. kid-friendly and the best part everyone is so caring and respectful. Come see for yourself all are welcome. I love IslamInSpanish my second home.
This place is amazing. It’s a blessing from God to have this place and community. It’s a loving, all embracing community. Whether you are Muslim or not, you must make it a point to visit this place. You will feel right at home!
Islam in Spanish has given me education through classes, counselling through the Imam being readily available and approachable, community through regularly scheduled events, a social outlet through Eid celebrations and potlucks, and a sense of belonging through human interaction in an age when this is unfortunately sometimes an afterthought and not a priority.
This is an amazing organization that welcomes everyone from the community to help understand Islam and what the organization is about. They make you feel comfortable and embrace all new comers.
This is not just an organization, to me, is a family that welcomes everyone. Their founders are such humble, yet extraordinary people. God bless them
My husband and I came to this center to watch a seminar and were super impressed with how beautiful, clean and homey the building was from the inside. We were then greeted by the kindest people -- even their young 4-year-old son embraced us immediately. Even though neither of us is of Spanish descent, we felt the sense of unity that Islam teaches. We will definitely return soon, God willing.
I had a great experience visiting the center and volunteering to help with their fundraising efforts, sorting and counting inventory, and helping registerling contact info on excel. Great humble people. They have a noble cause.
