Mission: In 1965, no one outside of India knew about Krishna or was a devotee of Krishna. Then an elderly Vaisnava by the name of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami arrived in America. Within a few years, his teachings and followers made "Hare Krishna" into a household word in the West. The movement he started has expanded all over the world, and there are numerous branches of Vaisnavsim which have also developed from various teachers and lineages. ITV was formed to make Vaisnava visual media available to these new "bhaktas" and to enthuse the traditional followers as well. ITV has produced and acquired a library of videos and now, a multi-media CD, a catalog of which can be accessed anywhere in the world through its Web site www.itvproductions.net The company is a charitable organization which pays no salaries to its volunteer managers. ITV is looking to produce more shows, and a complete list of the proposed projects can be found on its Web site.
