Programs: Grants to baylor medical center at irving:irving healthcare foundation (ihf) granted over $830,000 to baylor medical center at irving, the city's only non-profit hospital and the primary health care resource for residents and visitors. Grants included $271,000 for cancer related services, including the provision of free mammograms to needy, uninsured patients, $17,000 for hospital staff education; $20,000 for prenatal education classes provided without charge to the community; $53,000 to improve the clinic where patients with congestive heart failure receive care; $100,000 for critically needed replacement or new treatment equipment; and $342,000 for the expansion of the busiest hospital emergency department in western dallas county.
grants to our children's house at baylor-irving:ihf granted more than $215,000 to our children's house at baylor irving (ochi), an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic with integrated therapy services for children with medical and developmental needs.
