This group goes all out and takes care of disbled veterans. I have been to two of their events, and had a blast was able to relax. I can't wait to see what other things the decide to do!
I am a disabled veteran and have participated in. Ironmen on the Gulf and a couple other events and also have volunteered to help with some of the disabled children’s hunting opportunities. This is a great non profit organization that’s helps so many people.
I am a disabled Veteran. I went on the heroes on the Gulf fishing trip and had a great time! I probably wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to go on a deep sea fishing trip without an organization like this!
I was invited to attend a hog hunt this summer in Calera AL. Everyone involved in this event was an absolute pleasure to engage with. No stones were left unturned, and accommodations were thoroughly enjoyable. Sleeping, eating, conversations, transportation, and hunting conditions were fully taken care of by ALL of the wonderful people on site. Looking forward to hunting with them again, next time with my Navy son along as well.

Iron Men Outdoor Ministries goes above and beyond when it comes to helping Veterans or children with disabilities. From fishing trips to hunting trips they are always putting a smile on faces and bringing people together to enjoy life!
I'm a disabled paralyzed Veteran, and a full time wheelchair user.
Iron Men Outdoor Ministries each year hosts a dinner and fishing event for over 150 disabled Veterans. The only cost to the Veteran is their transportation to Alabama. Accommodations for 2 nights, were of no expense to my wife and I.
I signed up for the 2023 event, with apprehensions. The reason being, I hear from different organizations that they can handle a wheelchair veteran, when actually they try to 'Wing it' when I show up.
(And how are you getting me up there into the boat?)
With Iron Men they had a plan, and were experienced with guys like me ! I hadn't been fishing out in the Ocean in over 9 years since my injury. The Iron Men, not only work with Veterans but with disabled children as well. I can not recommend Iron Men Outdoor Ministries any lower than a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. Please consider the Iron Men Outdoor Ministries when you make your tax deductible contributions each year.
THANK YOU AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT YEAR !
I participated in the Alabama fishing event and greatly enjoyed it. The banquet was awesome too. I was honored to have been invited.
As a Veteran I have attended 3 events (1Deer Hunt, 1 Wild Hog Hunt, and 1 Fishing Trip) with Iron Man Ministries and all 3 were amazing experiences. It’s always a great time when you get to do things you enjoy doing and also spend time with other Veterans who have been through the same things that you are going through. It really helps in the coping and healing process. I even met another Veteran on the fishing trip that was on the same camp in Iraq that I was at the same time. These people are always so accommodating and awesome to be around during their events. I look forward to attending more in the future. Highly Recommend and Thank You for all you do for Veterans and Special Abilities Kids.
I have attended several events with Ironmen Outdoor Ministries. My first event was a Disabled Veteran Hunt in Beatrice AL. Ironmen took care of everything including meals, a guest speaker, and availability of leaders in the religious community. The support provided on this trip was overwhelming.
My latest trip was an offshore fishing excursion. This trip allowed me to bring my wife along and we turned it into a mini vacation. Once again Ironmen thought of everything from lodging to a full Banquet.
The men and women of Ironmen Outdoor Ministries are truly dedicated to their cause, and I am blessed to continue to be a part of their events.
I'd like to add a personal thankyou to Festus for everything he does!
