I worked as a marketing intern for I’RAISE's Marketing Department. I had the opportunity to meet wonderful people and received continuous support from my marketing supervisor. The mission and welcoming environment at I'RAISE is well seen and encouraged. I had the pleasure to work independently and collaboratively with members of the Marketing and Public Relations Departments, as well as express my creativity and problem-solving skills.

This organization offers great opportunities for the youth, and I feel thankful for having been part of a committed team and have grown as a professional individual. Thank you I'RAISE for having given me this opportunity and I wish you well on your journey for a bright and healthy future for children. Best of luck!

I worked here as a PR intern, and this organization was very welcoming in terms of making everyone feel comfortable. We had bi-weekly meetings where everyone was able to share what they were working on or get together to compile a list of ideas for projects. It was just nice to see that this organization was able to foster a supportive environment, where everyone was welcome to be creative and talk about their ideas.

I worked as a social media intern with the marketing department, and it was a very pleasant experience. I learned a lot about the company culture of a non-profit organization and the work that goes into building a community. It was awesome and I hope this organization gets recognized!

I felt some of the staff were lovely, I felt that many workers had their heart in the right place, I met some lovely people, the organization did offer a lot of services online to children.I participated fully and whole heartedly, humbly in need. I was eager to learn about the organization and their work so I listened to their speeches attentively. I felt misled as many others did. It was unorganized. As a humble mother of 6, In need and after hours of searching online was happy and hopeful. Our family waited about 4 hours plus looking forward to the warmth of a new coat, and a surprise from Santa ( as the invite implies surprise guests or something to that affect) (the amazing donors) Well when I finally got to the head of the line, the gifts were scarce, (sorry if it sounds ungrateful) and what was left was puzzles, and a knock off minature eche a sketch, my kids were sad and disappointed, I was told I could either get the coat or a toy. I opted for the coat as the man who was appointed my family rudely rushed us and told me it was either the coat or a toy, well funny thing was I signed up for both a toy in one application and the coat as another application because you needed to sign up separately for each. He asked what size saying he doesn’t think he has a coat for any of them, I say a 5 and he tried to give us a wind breaker that was a size 12 or 14 used, needed to be cleaned and appeared to be from 1980 something multicolored and not a wind and not even a coat. I kindly declined and opted for a toy. Forgive me for my honesty. I told my kids to be grateful for their kindness and effort to get that it’s the thought that counts and we got to go to a party, they each got a cookie, (nothing to drink sadly they ran out quickly) and experiences they won’t forget. We enjoyed the energy of the members of staff who were presenting. I’m hoping this was not just a tax write off. If the team needs help coming up with a better plan next year and to make it more organized I’d love to help via e-mail phone or however I can help even in person if I could bring the kids. I think the event has potential.

I have worked in collaboration with iRaise and the team there for a number of projects and objectives and I cannot rave about their professionalism and passion for what they do enough. Projects included panels and mini-workshops. The team at iRaise are efficient and hard-working and the work they do serves so many. It is an honor to not only have worked in collaboration with them but to see this organization thrive.

I'RAISE truly values their volunteers, interns, and employees professional growth and development. I started as a Human Resources Assistant intern for 6+ months and the amount of hands-on experience that I got in the HR field is amazing; ranging from recruiting to interviewing to onboarding and learning about employee relations, performance evaluation and all the fun HR stuff. I'RAISE believes in providing career developmental opportunities internally and that is how today I am an HR Director at I'RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation. Even as an employee, everyday seems to be a rewarding moment with this organization.

I’ve been working in I ‘Raise as a marketing volunteer for 7 months. Just in few months, I’ve developed myself in many fields like website updating, writing blog posts, organizing emailing & SMS campaigns, creating flyers and designs for social media and more.

This process not only helped me to learn many different marketing tools but also enabled me to understand what I specifically like to do while I’m working on many different marketing projects.

I feel so lucky for being in a team who supports with each other also working with experienced and kind supervisors around you is amazing. They are always open to new ideas and encourage you to take initiatives. One way or another touching in children’s lives who need help is also a great experience.

I love you I ‘Raise! I'm glad to be part of you!
