Mission: iPraxis is a nonprofit organization where we encourage students in Philadelphia’s public and charter schools to embrace and pursue STEM learning opportunities. Using inquiry and project-based learning activities like science fairs, in-class presentations, workshops, field trips, and career fairs, students gain insight into how things work in the real world and discover new possibilities for their future.
Results: In 2014-2015 we... - provided science fair mentoring to 400 students - gave STEM presentations to 1,200 students - judged 650 science projects - provided after-school clubs for 120 students
