Mission: The iowa propane education and research council promotes safety research and education through public service announcements, programs, and training classes.
Programs: Funding rebate programs through iowa propane gas association- the regulator rebate program allows the propane marketer to receive a rebate for the removal of regulators identified as a potential safety threat. During 2017, the funds available for this program totaled 6,000. The high efficiency propane water heater rebate program allows propane marketers to receive a rebate for the installation of residential high efficiency propane water heaters. During 2017, the funds available for this program totaled 22,500. Lastly, the high efficiency furnace rebate program allows for propane marketers to receive a rebate for the installation of residential high efficiency propane furnaces/boilers. During 2017, the funds available for this program totaled 126,000.
