Mission: Mission statement:maximizing economic opportunity for iowa biodiesel stakeholders. Our purpose:the iowa biodiesel board (ibb) represents the biodiesel industry in iowa, from production through distribution to end users. The ibb promotes the commercial success of biodiesel in iowa.
Programs: Iowa biodiesel boardtax year ended 9/30/15form 990, part iii - statement of program services and accomplishmentsiowa biodiesel boardthe members have rallied arounds ibb's three pillars, the focus areas set for the organization by the board of directors. The first of these pillars is the education and promotion of biodiesel to the public, government, and marketplace. Secondly, we focus on maintaining iowa's industry leading biodiesel position. And third, ibb will shape and drive the biodiesel legislative agenda in iowa. Increasing usage of biodiesel continues to be the end result goal of the efforts of ibb. A variety of tactics are developed to achieve that goal, including a proactive communications plan. That plans includes physical handouts and brochures, electronic newsletters, website updates, and a progressive social media campaign. Other efforts aimed at reducing barriers to biodiesel market growth include support and planning of the biodiesel technical workshop, continued support of training for diesel technicians on biodiesel, and educating retailers on the opportunities that exist by offering biodiesel.
