Dominique has been consistently devoted with an inspiring spirit to start and grow InvisiYouth. In all my interactions with Dominique and all my experiences with her powerful charity, I know it’s going to continue to grow exponentially. One of the most important issues of today that is not addressed enough is amongst young adults with chronic illnesses not having enough support to thrive. We see a lot of our society either ignoring this issue, or promoting victimization. InvisiYouth provides engaging tools and genuine support to young adults in the chronic illness community, as well as to their family, friends and healthcare professionals.
InvisiYouth has been an incredible blessing in not only my own life, but so many others. I have never felt this kind of support from a charity and I'm so grateful for all the work they do. I'm an ambassador with this charity and they are absolutely amazing! They do so much to help young people with chronic illnesses and disabilities!
My name is Gracie Van Brunt and I started working with InvisiYouth Charity back in early 2020 and they have been so wonderful! I was interested in working with them because they advocate for young adults who are dealing with chronic illnesses and how they can live more of a normal life. Being a young adult myself, age 25, and having a rare chronic disease, I believe it is super important for us to figure out ways to live with our disease and live our lives to the fullest despite our disease. InvisiYouth is an incredible platform to not only help with these challenges and accomplishments but to help me and many others dealing with chronic illnesses not feel so alone. It helps to know that there is a community out there for us Spoonies and that InvisiYouth plays a huge role in that. I am so grateful to be part of the organization and I cannot wait to see what wonderful things come out of it!
As a Global Brand Leader for InvisiYouth I have been greatly supported and empowered by them to achieve my goals. I absolutely love their podcast and the work they do to support young chronically ill and disabled people is so vitally important!

The founder, Dominique, has always expressed genuine and personal gratitude for her team.
InvisiYouth has given me the confidence to advocate for myself and others. Accepting my condition has been my biggest hurdle. InvisiYouth has given me community through which I’ve found my passion to help others. Without InvisiYouth I wouldn’t be where I am today - pursuing a Master’s Degree to help youth with chronic conditions find modalities to improve quality of life!
Truly amazing! Invisiyouth have given me the tools to re-gain control over my life. Accept my condition in a healthier way as well as making amazing online friends. Over the number of social platforms, creating a range of content helping so many people - you can't put a price tag on the level of support they offer as a charity. Being apart of a organization like this, with such amazing people has been awesome! The fact I can do what I love by having the opportunity to continue being able to advocate & support those with chronic illness has been so fulfilling & has meant so much to me! :)
I found InvisiYouth when I was going through a really bad time with my health. I was really scared for the future and had no idea how I would ever achieve anything if I was chronically ill. Listening to their video podcast series made me feel less alone, gain amazing tips and find a way to look at my illness as a strength instead of a weakness. When I had the opportunity to be a part of their Global Brand Leader Program I jumped at it, being able to bring InvisiYouth family to Australia and my local area is amazing. It’s given me so much confidence in my activism and brining awareness to chronic illness. As well as building up the self confidence that my illness had once taken from me. Dominique and the whole InvisiYouth team are some of the kindest, genuine and supportive people and I am so grateful to get to represent them.
InvisiYouth are an amazing charity which has helped me feel supported through my journey with invisible illnesses. They are so welcoming and have helped so many people connect with each other and find support.
I can't quite remember how I first got invovled with Invisiyouth but I definietly haven't looked back since! Having a rare disease (1 in 100,000) which no one knows about including doctors that you put your trust in it is hard but Invisiyouth have been there every single step of the way. As well as pushing their advocacy work to educate doctors and make patients make sure they are at the centre of their care, Invisiyouth are always there to cheer, cry, laugh and help you every single step of the way.
I started working with them a few years ago when I wrote my story for the 'spotlight' story programme. From then, I toom part in the Superhero Series which is an inclusive traithlon event. I got to raise awareness and raise money for Invisiyouth which was amazing, I also got to see so many children, young people and families with illness/disability come together and take part in sport.
Earlier this year, I became a Global Brand Leader which means an 'ambassador' role. I get to represent them and do even more work, something which I love and I will never be able to thank the charity enough for everything they have done for me. I can also see how much Dominique and her team love the work they do, it shines through.
InvisiYouth are a wonderful charity to volunteer with, not only do they do great work supporting young people, but the network of volunteers and the support we are provided is fab
Invisiyouth creates inspiration for young people with chronic illness to be strong in the pursuit of the care they need and the life they want to live. The people behind this charity make the message of empowerment and hope come alive for people - they put so much love into all they share and that is what makes ALL the difference!
Donating to a charity, you want to make sure that the funds are being used to improve a cause, and InvisiYouth Charity does exactly that! Their donations let them build new programs like their video podcasts and host free events and hangouts all around the world. Giving a donation to InvisiYouth feels like I'm helping young adults live full lives with chronic illness, and they aren't waiting until they are healthy, so everything immediately helps their life. When I have friends that want to donate to charities, I tell them InvisiYouth really uses all donations for tangible projects, so they are the best.
I live in England, and I have a chronic illness, so trying to balance uni and my health is really hard. Finding out about InvisiYouth on Instagram when they did a podcast episode with The Mix was brilliant because I felt like finally a charity was talking to me! They work on improving physical and mental health, and want to give tools so I can achieve my goals while I live with an illness. InvisiYouth works with other charities and is so supportive of the whole person. I love them to bits!
This charity is doing incredible things and helping young people with chronic illnesses from all around the world- I don't know what I would do without them!
InvisiYouth make such a positive difference to the lives of young people with invisible illnesses and are always working hard to reach this global audience!
This is one of my favorite charities to support. This is an underserved area in healthcare and has been a huge benefit in my life. Thank you for all you do!
Within the complicated adolescent health care system, InvisiYouth Charity gives a voice to teens whose specific needs are often invisible to their health care providers. As a hub for help, InvisiYouth enables teens and their families to locate the services they require. It enables teens to gain the life skills necessary to live life while being ill and it increases awareness of this concern by presenting programs to health care providers.
When Dominique first told me about her RSD and charity, I didn't fully understand her struggles or InvisiYouth's mission. Then, I attended a fundraiser InvisiYouth co-hosted with Dance Arts of Cherry Hill. Hearing Dominique's story in full, seeing her hospital photos, and realizing how strong she truly is, was eye-opening for me. Dominique noticed a gap in nonprofit organizations, and she filled it. InvisiYouth is committed to making life easier for teens in pediatrics and giving them a voice. And I'm proud to support this great nonprofit.
InvisiYouth is truly an amazing organization which plays a fundamental role in bridging the knowledge gap between the experiences of teens who suffer from chronic illnesses and their community. By giving these teens a voice and sharing their stories, we as community members can better relate to them and in turn, help them. It’s a noteworthy charity lead by an inspirational woman.
InvisiYouth recently held a joint fundraiser with the CityBelles, the all-female acapella group of Saint Joseph's University. Probably the best part during their Spring 2016 concert (besides the music of course!) was when SJU students and the general public had a chance to learn about the things that teens face when dealing with chronic illnesses in pediatric hospitals....things that you would not start to think about when your child is sick. For me, I never knew of such concerns for teens and that is what makes InvisiYouth a great nonprofit....its focus on educating others on the challenges that a significant group of patients have.
I am fortunate enough to work with InvisiYouth through my organization Sick Chicks and another upcoming Initiative, We Are More. InvisiYouth fills a much needed space in making hospitals find a place within pediatrics for teen patients. Dominique shows professionalism, while still staying true and relatable to her young adult message.
InvisiYouth Charity helps change lives. It is so lucky to have such a passionate and intelligent woman, Dominique, as its founder!
InvisiYouth is a tremendous group that does great work with adolescents with chronic health conditions. Dominique Veil, the founder of InvisiYouth brings her experience of being an adolescent with a chronic health condition to help other adolescents in a similar situation. She has engaged and educated numerous teens on advocating for themselves and living life with an illness.
Dominique's passion and drive for InvisiYouth is amazing. I have had the privilege to work with Dominique over the last 4 years in my professional role. I can remember when I first met her and she was telling me about the foundation that she wanted to create. I was impressed with her dream! I have been extremely proud to have watched Dominique build and launch InvisiYouth.
InvisiYouth is such a cool nonprofit that deserves attention. They are the voice of a patient group that is often unseen in pediatric hospitals and has passion to make sure all teens have an outlet to learn how to live their lives while dealing with chronic illnesses and doctors can learn new ways to communicate with their older patients. I saw the founder speak at a fundraiser and the passion behind her to give the right tools to this patient group is evident when she speaks. I'm so happy to be a supporter of InvisiYouth from the very beginning and know that when I donate to them, the money is being use to build the educational materials, teen pediatric events and speeches necessary to help teens live while battling illnesses.
I admire the work that Dominique and InvisiYouth are doing. Many organizations focus on the pediatric patient and the older child gets lost and has little support for their unique experience. Teenager have a complex life on a day-to-day basis without medical complications and sickness added an additional layer of isolation when the true goal is to simply belong at this age. It's refreshing to see this organization's leader take her personal life experiences and turn them into a crusade.
Giving back to a part of the next generation that truly knows hardship has been so rewarding with InvisiYouth Charity. I have been supporting this new nonprofit (www.invisiyouthcharity.com) that dedicates to helping teenagers in pediatric hospitals get a voice and educate others on how to work with this age demographic in an environment that is not designed for teens. They do amazing work directly with teens with various chronic illnesses to give them a platform to create their own voice in the pediatric setting and allow them to feel represented and understood instead of invisible. I would always give to this nonprofit because the founder has been in the shoes of these teens when she was one. Her experience allows her to push for the best representation and to promote their demographic to change the way people not just look at pediatrics but also how they interact with the teenage patients so they have the best experience in hospitals.
