The IWCA makes a difference on the ground. As a Board Member I've had the opportunity to see first hand the advancement of women who were located at lower levels in the coffee supply chain in developing countries move to a place where they have a voice and decision making skills. An investment in women offers a tremendous ripple effect in that they automatically start to consider ways to build their families and give back to their communities. Economically empowering women offers a successful pathway to building nations. Phyllis Johnson
